  1. I hate the top as well and will not be buying it so I am going to wear a retro top in future. But the reason is that I think that the added blue makes it look stooped. I have allegiances that will never die but - no self respecting Caley fan would wear it - Bollicks and most feeble troll EVER !!
  2. There appears to be a certain ignorance about the merger - where shall we direct Draganict to ?
  3. Is it not time that you changed yer feckin poster name !!
  4. I a now seriously considering buying a season ticket for Brentford.
  5. At least he instantly recognised the orange as being a proddy *******.
  6. I am still on the feckin prowl Bughtmaster and heading North for both the Cellic and Hearts games. I have always said that I will say is as I see it. I have posted that this pre season planning has been verging on excellence and our management appear to have learned from past mistakes - many pointed out and chastised by myself and several other posters. We were fully prepared, had a confidence building performance and result at Charlton and we have taken nine points from the opening three games. That at the very least is valuable points on the scoreboard. I would take three from the next two games, four would be a bonus and six would be remarkable and not out of reach in the least. I also can't see ICT getting any more than a home average of 3500-4000 this season due to a variety of reasons, well discussed on another thread. Away fans have now got over the novelty of Sneck and soon will of Tinkerville - the trip North has now become an expensive trek for many. A successful Aberdire will bring in a big crowd, Tinkerville will hit about the 5000 mark and Hearts early doors may bring in a similar number. And lets face it most grounds in the SPL have woeful home supports but I felt that the North Stand was improving late last season and the more yoof that we encourage to join the choir the better.
  7. Why would anyone want to go to a dump like Scunny - I would rather play Grimbsy Town - at least we could enjoy a plate of fresh seafood and a night out at the Yardbirds Rock Club - better nite out than the slums on the Westcliff.
  8. Nope it is the London Road Tavern but I fear that I may be banned from singing
  9. Looking forward to the karaoke and nobody will notice the blend of Lionel Ritchie and Lionel Djebi-Zadi.
  10. I predict that the ICT support next week will bring back memories of the "Jungle " - can't wait to wallow in the "were top of the league and you're no " chant. Lets make feckin hay whilst the sun shines.
  11. Congratulations on having such a superb feckin understanding of our diction. Words like automatism are not automatically understood or appreciated by the average amadan that posts on this site. May I also point out that our fans probably consume more fluids than the Steelmen of Muvversmell.
  12. Well I suppose that is credit to ICT fer not going feckin crazy and sticking as far as we can do to the budget.
  13. Might go next time then !! Don't you just feckin hate winning ? I envy the Tinkerville crew
  14. Thank you Mr Dingle.
  15. If there was leeway for a standing only terrace then we would probably have a four sided stadium. I think it looks considerably worse when you go to a stadia like Killie or Well or Falkirk when there are only three stands open and loads of spaces. However Midden may have got it spot on.
  16. I think that poor Dougals reputation has blinded some to the positivity of his post. IMHO County are better at recruiting than us as they appear to "advertise" more outside of their catchment area as the Hellgin based ICT fan pointed out. We always appear to concentrate our efforts on the populated area of the city. I agree with Dougal that TB and the team can really have not done much more last season and the general "planning" has been considerably improved this season. I also feel that the recruitment drive has been much improved but perhaps a wee drive at advertising in local rags across the North would be an idea albeit yet another financial extra. County also appear to have more localised travel "clubs" where small numbers travel together and another "drive" - forgive the pun - would be to try and bring those numbers together and encourage sharing costs to travel to Sneck and beyond. Again CJT could be aiding such iniatives but not owning them. Good post fer once Dougal.
  17. I had a hunch that it would be the Tinkerville trip that would be shown - at least as alluded to above fans will have to turn out fer games which may not be a bad thing.
  18. But let me get that right - in the third round we will be seeded and will not be drawn against Cellic, Well, St Johns Town or Hibees. Does that result in is also not to be drawn against the next top three SPL teams who get through in the third round as well ? I never did like seeding and as ICT Chris had said elsewhere the away nights at lower league grounds is missed.
  19. The big positive is that Richie can be utilised in a variety of positions and also fits in to the favoured TB system. He has shown that he could fill in at centre back, he can evidently play centre mid but then looks as comfortable wide left and is as good a centre forward as we have. However I am shure that he would wish to play in the same position every week but his versatility is our strength. He is a leader but unfortunately needs to learn the art of discipline as well as he has picked up too many cards for opening his gob at officials. I would like to see him being utilised in the tactical strength and weighing up where best to play him against certain opposition - for instance his experience is required in midfield fer a lot of away trips. But the bottom line is that nobody walks in to this side and has to maintain a level of performance to be picked week in and week out. TB has had what has appeared to be his faves in the past but he has considerably more options to look at - as the second team scenario emphasises. It is probably a very old fashioned way of selecting a squad but, with our resources, a rather astute choice - remembering how we had to chop and change at the end of last season.
  20. Well at least there is no real change in the organisation - one old biddy/ wummin fer another !!!
  21. I have always been able to hear the tan not system very clearly from ma corner seat in the Innes !
