  1. Nah, it was on issue 2 (I think). Not the way it would be interpreted nowadays - something to do with Clach being the Mujahideen..... - You just had to be there at the time - shure AD was fairly classic of the old faithful as we predominantly followed one of the Old Filth brigade as our "first" team. But who was the real brain behind the LSM ?
  2. The "faithful" will be there - that is all that feckin matters.
  3. Best feckin merger post EVER - it is only the sad old cnuts that bite and contribute to this - and as fer a once bitter, stay away Howden Ender - 02feckinB.
  4. You really shouldnt take any heed of unsubtantiated rumours and gobbledegook.
  5. What a feckin brilliant "page" - a must read fer all the owder Howden Enders. Dont want to start of another merger debate but it does show how strong the bond was with the old teams - a bit like Wimbledon and MK Dons. For some the wounds run really deep and in the end it is their lives and their decisions - whether it is viewed as being stoopid or incredibly loyal to the cause.
  6. Best film coverage ever was yon Hen Broon lookalike standing on the Bridge with a Brewster Out banner - did he get in trouble fer that ?
  7. And popped yer Paul Cherry ?
  8. I have asked TB permission to share this as it was originally said in our therapy sessions but we feel that it may allay the anxieties of many. TB feels "at home" in the veritable solitude and privacy of his wee retreat in Abriachan where he can chill and undertake the type of "ordinary" day to day activities (walking the dugs) that he would never be able to carry out in a more demanding job and in an environment frequented by snappers of a more "paparrazi" manner. He has chosen a life and he is determined to make a success out of his job whilst also enjoying his personal and private life. He evidently wishes to take ICT as far as he can. He may not openly admit it but he yearns fer the notoriety of taking such a wee team in to a European competition, attain a place high enuff in the SPL to satisfy that goal and especially to bring a trophy back to parade through the streets of Inversneckie. On acheiving that he may feel that there is no higher goal to achieve. But he then plans to remain in the haven of Abriachan and hope that he can enjoy a double existence in being a part time Director of football at the TCS and utilising his undoubted charisma to move back in to the media circus. And I am also reliably informed by my Balmoral mole that the names of Mr Terence Ian Butcher and Mr David William Moyes are serious candidates for an OBE award in 2013.
  9. Did you feckin post that before or after the chicken and the egg?
  10. Well there is no way that I am egging anybody on to add to this.
  11. What the feck - it could do us good to have a Derek Addams experience !!!
  12. Could just be the most important in our history - Dungdee and Midden at home followed by St Jones Town and Tinkerville away - that should be a haul of 8-12 points with the rest of the Top Six battling it out. For once I have good feckin vibrations.
  13. You have been on the feckin egg nog lad !!
  14. Well I would have taken a point this morning - lets feckin face it - 3 down after 9 minutes and we are still pishhed off with a draw !! Changed feckin days - Happy feckin days.
  15. Just noticed that Jock Watt is feckin 80 today - what a feckin innings - which started in 1932 when the Citadel were still in business and came 8th in the League won by the Broch who thankfully pipped Hellgin. The Fools from the Hill came in 5th, the Merkinchers came in 11th and the mighty Caley pipped the Kings Own Scottish Borderers by a point to avoid the wooden spoon !! And be careful Jock - as trying to blow out all those feckin candles is like running a marathon !!
  16. With family still in Brodie and previously in Forres itself I have certainly tasted many a Forres pie. My Granny used to have the Hardmuir farm and ma uncle had a feckin log cabin in Darnaway. But I can recall most fondly that lovely warm feeling of the warm Forres pie and the white whisky procured from Dallas-Dhu by ma cousin.
  17. Well Rosscoe got the full acclaim from the North Stand on Tuesday. It was great to hear his name being chanted with the old vigour - and what was the chant eminating from the Inbred End ?!!!
  18. Absolutely - this is a massive game fer the farmers, the foresters and the unemployed of Ross-shire. The big club from the big bad city comes a visiting and - for a split second - the in breds and the Addams family think that some light is creeping through the shadows.
  19. I am reliably informed that it includes remants of Davy Milroy.
  20. DESTINY - The inevitable or necessary fate to which a particular person, thing or team is destined. As William Bryan Jennings once quipped to me - "Johndo, Destiny is no matter of chance. It is not a thing to be waited for, its a thing to be achieved " DO YOU BELIEVE
  21. In a Xmas gesture to the Arab stewards I am missing out on this one
  22. I hope that Airdrie Caley aint Section B ?!!
