  1. Coming up on the choo-choo. And dont sing the ICT version of the fields in the LRT either.
  2. Training and match attributes can differ markedly. The proof (individual performance, integrating in to the system and being a team player) is in the proverbial (points gained, entertainment and general satisfaction). As I have stated before I think that the lad has "massive" potential but is trying to play in a role in a system that doesnt suit him. Have to say that it is interesting to see so many advocating the return of Shane in to that position which to me demonstrates marked disappointment in Roberts.
  3. I will prepare the vodka injected oranges just in case. We had also prepare some gaelic chants for the game.
  4. At least this is a benchmark for the future.
  5. I found an article about celery toppings .... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/210052-celery-topping
  6. But I think that the general consensus is that he hasnt.
  7. What about Angus Gunn from Manchester City or perhaps Craig Gunn from Hellgin Shittee ? They are potential weapons to add to our arsenal.
  8. Apparently he plays for Inverness Caley
  9. Hope TB never suggested that he could play wide right in the role of Roberts and Sutherland - or maybe he did ?
  10. Perhaps then he is in the same mould as Shane Sutherland ?
  11. Or the Springfield Tavern singing our version of the Fields.
  12. League Deconstruction led by Sevco.
  13. Didnt we once have a gypsy international ? Now that is a surprise but shurely must mean that he has really shined at training. Gawd do we need to put or get some money in pronto to pay fer a new contract. Only downside is if Shinnie shines tonite - but feck it - go fer it Andy boy. We are behind ya - RITE ENUFF
  14. Consistency is the new TB bye-law = no change and same again. The lingering narcissitic traits will ensure that Roberts starts.
  15. I understand that he has beefed up since playing at Club Bovril, he is on the mend after going crackers and enjoyed being part of a Middle Eastern Ska band. He must be tough as he is referred to as "Doc" at training.
  16. Mr Butcher certainly did not sound like a manager who was aware that a virus had struck the team: Today was more frustration because we've played really well this season. We should've won the game and we had opportunities to get the second goal and didn't. "For the fourth or fifth time a team has scored against us in the last five or six minutes of a match and stopped us winning the game." The Highlanders now sit in fourth place on 19 points, two behind joint leaders Celtic, Hibernian and Aberdeen. "It's such a unique experience for my players," added Butcher. "It's heady stuff and sometimes it's how you accept that or deal with that that determines whether you do win the match or not. "I don't think we dealt with it well today because we looked sluggish and not as fired up as we have been in the past."
  17. Well the performance certainly bugged me and made me feel a tad sick at the end.
  18. Can I apologise to all who the posters who use a slightly different font and it is acceptable to use the word FECK ya tawts.
  19. And even that may not be enuff - by the way your font is the typing equivalent of a speech impediment. It's enough to stay comfortably away from the relegation zone and ahead of OTB, and that's all that matters. And I won't let you provoke me with your pseudo-psychological ranting Should have gone to specsavers - can anyone please interpret ?
  20. I thought that he was poor today but he is clearly being played out of position - in the same manner as Shane - he looks like a striker to me. And again he is also being used as a foil fer Doran and with Shinnie in there as well his role is to pull the opposition wide which often ends up in him being starved and more of an emphasis on dropping back to defend. As he is a loan player I would prefer it if we were stating Pepper or even Brislen-Hall. I still however strongly believe that this lad will be an accomplished striker one day.
  21. Mary Hill has also got a very worrying observation as to why we only woke up, passed, attacked and looked up fer it when they equalised. That is how we should have started off the second half not ended it. In retrospect I wish that they had scored a lot earlier. But let's face it the only way that they were going to score was from this spot. Totally baffled as to why that was so lacklustre but equally maddened that we have apparently regressed to seeing out a game rather than finishing it off. Finally puzzled as to why Doran and Roberts weren't stopped at some stage and why Roberts was kept wide left, starved and wasted in the second half whe he could have been put up front with McKay against a central defence which was scared of pace.
  22. Two points lost but could have been worse. 12 points off the bottom and surely we had a bad day at the office. But the inquiry must be as to how we played so well in the first half hour and then didn't play at all after that. To me Foran and OTJ didn't gel - OTJ disappeared and Foran may not have been fully fit. Doran had an off day as did Roberts who was starved of the ball in the second half. Shinnie had an off day as well. McKay was completely isolated. The back five were faultless and Raven was my MOM becos he always played the easy ball to feet. Tactically the hoof returned and we sat far too deep in the second half. We should have attacked not defended. Hearts were poor but were up fer it, won most tackles and got the run of the ball. Another issue is that we simply do not have any quality on the bench to put on when we have 2-3 of our match winners under performing.
  23. I can see OTJ now although he clearly didn't mean to impede Paterson. Lets face it no less than we and they deserved. And at last and probably too late we come alive !!
