  1. SO - would we have been bettre off at home today and next week at well without the red cards ?
  2. That is not exactly what we need - crowing about the Tinks away ??
  3. In a nutshell CaleyD agrees with my initial statement but has elucidated.
  4. I cannot avoid becoming a mentor or a role model to administators but I am glad to note that ll that is really needed to embrace my style is a few smileys and a few feckin swear words. By the way why shouldnt Johndo refer to IHE in the third person or vice versa - I was told that that was an integral symptom linked to the diagnosis.
  5. Gawd yet another thread descends in to a barrage of personal abuse  Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) I will be viewing the proceedings in an Irish Bar in Playa Del Ingles, suitably attired with ICT top but too hot fer the kilt. I will of course be providing a critique of the events, performances and tactics by the wonder of the Net. I hasten to add that ICT were originally looking to get Bracket and Hinge to do the singing but Kenny Cameron has opted for a Laurel and Hardy lookalike duo
  6. it is just another gay feckin field really.
  7. Well I am just cruising the Canaries on the HMS Sneck - using it as a tourist attraction in Mogan Harbour and making a few spondoolicks and quaffing loads of Sangria. Gordie is spot on as many probably ignore ma haverings or dont share ma sense of humour - although may "likes" since the departure of the red dots do. The problem with poor old IHE is that some peeple do not appreaciate reality and criticism and attempt to be draconian or schoolmasterish and IHE responds in the only manner he knows and usually still manages to catch a few big fish in the process '- even when, as on threads like this, his initial aim was to bring about some serious discussion and debate.
  8. Agree in the main but his non verbal body language and Irish brogue can take his presentation over the assertive to the aggressive status. Having said that he would make a mighty fine manager one day.
  9. The main attraction could be the sight of davie and CaleyD starting a sing-song version of "If you are happy and ya know it clap yer hands "
  10. County at home on a Friday night from a local, travel perspective, the occasion and the TV attraction is understandable. Dungdee away for either ICT or Tinkerville is pure madness. I wonder what would have been said if it was anyone coming to the Highlands on a Friday night. Are all three games on the box or is this a straightforward fixture change ?
  11. Have'nt seen too much of Pepper but against Brechin he came on into a left midfield role ad he certainly has a shoot on sight mentality. He needs to build himself up physicaly to hold down that type of role but he does have pace and good control and could be used as a wide alternative and that may be the competition that Doran needs. I would really love to see - even for a short period of time - to "swop" Sutherland and McKay and see how the wee man is in the wide right role.
  12. Well feckin done SP - now that really is a highly positive action from yer good self and another accolade fer the club.
  13. Its a feckin surprise that he didnt mark it ?!!
  14. May I merely point out a few things here please. Initially the insertion of provocative negativity on this specific thread was made by a certain CaleyD. The only apparent intent was to dismiss rather than debate and to antagonise in a personal sense. I actually believe that I too have taken on a bit of a "happy clapper" role this season nad have attempted, as ever, to say it as I see it and there have been considerably more positive rather than negative retorts on here. But we as a team will have to keep an eye on Midden and St Johns Town as they are keeping up with us  I am so glad that I havent scared away Doofers Dad !!
  15. To be honest (homest) my "digs" initially were predominantly of a jovial nature with a wee "warning" of feckin calm it down in there as well. It may be early doors but we will end up getting ourselves a repuatation with the officialdom. It does appear that the bottom line is that both cards were simply avoidable. I also suspect Butcher will have it high on his agenda to sort out. The problem with Foran is that he can be a bit of an agressive, in your face, surly proposition to a ref. He is well entitled to question decisions as a captain but that can depend on how you do it and what type of relationship that you have with the officials. But if I was more local and judging by what I have witnessed so far this season one of the very few reasons that I would have for giving up a season ticket or not going to a game would be the loss of Foran. We really need his watered down influence this season. He is also our captain whether you like it or not.
  16. As a retiring gentleman with an adjustable disposition I will simply have to ammend my travelling arramgements which will simply result in the hardship of an extra day of imbibing.
  17. If you take the oomph out of Foran ya lose the player
  18. What a feckin erse licking happy clapper you have become Don !! My posts this season have been ultra positive but realistic. My opening post did have a flavour of sarcasm about it - as ever - but there really is a very important "lesson to be learnt" as well - which I have no doubt that TB will be ramming down the throats of the dressing room and firing a severe warning. Basically two of our most experienced, seasoned professionals have erred and let the whole team down and potentially have cost us FOUR feckin points. This has to be sorted out and quickly as we simply do not have a squad to deal with suspensions. So get off yer high feckin rockin horse and smell the feckin coffee.
  19. That is probably the team that Butcher will go with - except his personality trait will stick with Raven at rite back - personally I would like to see him "experiment" by playing McKay wide and Shane up front with a real attacking A.Shinnie.
  20. In my personal opinion when ya feckin break some bone making the resulting card worth it !!!
  21. Prefeckincisely - our squad is threadbare enuff without suspensions - especially pertaining to so called experienced professionals !
  22. Can every body meet at Mulligans Bar at high noon ?
  23. We must be feckin running away with the Disciplinary League - how far in feckin front are we ?
  24. There is nobody immediately behind him away from home giving him feckin jip
  25. Here is the votes of the Gran Canaria jury Feckin great afternoon at Mulligans - I fair feckin confused the bar when I yelled out when the Conor Pepper goal was shown on the Sky Sports screen - possibly aided by the happy hour offer of two fer one voddies of which I jumped in fer a couple when the Foran sending off was announced on top of the 2-0 scoreline at half time. It was so nice to score that late equaliser that is usually left to us to concede. From my chat on the phone with Terry last nite and looking at the match comments I still feel that the only changes that I would make would be Meekings for Raven and Ross for Sutherland but I will be patient and will not push the narcissists button too much. In some ways - to be fair - one of my criticisms of Butcher last season was his regular chopping and changing and you cant say that of him this season. The pairing of King and Warren can only get better the more that they get to know each other and wouldnt a clean sheet help ? Doran is really in the frustrating Hayes mode of 1:5 performances and he had better start improving or young Pepper will be on his case. The only surprise to me is that the boy Oswell hasnt had more play time. So what were the tactics and the line up yesterday - I take it that it was a 4-2-2-1-1 with Andy Shinnie playing slightly deeper - but I also take it that we must have changed the system with the Foran sending off - was that why Doran was hooked - who went central midfield and why was Raven hooked so early again ? L
