  1. Why cant we put this on the main forum page ?
  2. We have now got a better Away Support.
  3. Feck me I am agreeing again - We are not better than Hamilton, Midden, Killie and Muversmell - we are on a feckin par - but I honestly think that we have a better management team, a better squad and individual players who can really influence games - and the best feckin Away support in feckin Scotland.

All depends on the wage demands but Lee Hendry - not Colin or Lenny - is in Inverness. It sounds as if he is simply desperate to get a game/club - but I would take him - left footed midfielder is waht we need.
  5. It is more of a "Beware" or "Be aware" thread than a "Believe" thread - I believe that we are capable of a Top Six finish BUT we have to be more tactically aware and prepared at home.
  6. Grumpy old git - no wonder I am - 67 But it does take bottle and skill to keep on scoring pens.
  7. Have you been away fer 10 years ?
  8. TO START THE BALL ROLLING HERE ARE TWO EXCELLENT QUOTES FROM ICT CHRIS AND DAVIEB AND EVEN RENEGADE SUMS IT UP CONCISELY : ICT Chris: "It concerns me that we haven't built on last weeks result - this is how we got relegated last time out. The season we went down we beat Hibs, Aberdeen and Rangers away but lost too many games against the other 'bottom six' teams. There's no point in beating Dundee Utd easily then losing to Hamilton at home - we need consistency. In terms of tactics, I was again disappointed with our central midfield pairing, they were crowded out of the game meaning that we couldn't get any decent passing going and rarely got the ball into our danger players in good areas. Duncan and Cox need to be bit more dynamic in the middle, they just seem to sit there sometimes and the match happens arond them. Cox is capable of more I think, I'd like to see him taking more control in there." davieb: "If the whole crowd can see in the first 10 minutes that Rooney isnt going to win a thing in the air against Mensing, why can't the players see it too? There didn't seem to be any attempt to play a plan b." Renegade: I think it says a lot about ICT's performance when some of us can't decide whether certain players were the best or the worst! I evidently have clear views on what is going wrong and what can be done about it - It actually worries me a bit that Terry and Mo do not appear to know what Plan A is - never mind Plan B. So - what would YOU do ?
  9. What a feckin surprise - "Who are you ?"
  10. Apologies DBS but that is a quote that gets on ma feckin wick - Ya have to keep on scoring penalties to keep on taking them - penalty taking is an art in itself - it is all about self confidence, preparation and concentration. And Rooney is fast becoming one of the best.
  11. For the peeple who were at Fleetwood - I have just had an invite to take my family of four to the home game at York - FREE tomorrow. Look at that place - on a home game there is only Carling/Worthington on draft but all at ?2.25 a pint - double voddies and splash fer ?2.00. A fast food stall fer max of ?2.00 per portion, a supporters club shop - and ya can watch the feckin game in the toilets - Luton scored twice whilst I hjad a dumped and I got action replays - of the goals I hasten to add. Give me a Yellow Jacket with IHE on it and I will "police" the joint at TCS.
  12. Join the Facebook site - lets make Easter Road ROCK. Kilts are the order of the day - minis fer the girlies
  13. You are all suffering from the Sabbath niceness - we SHOULD have SIX feckin points.
  14. Thank feck fer that - may I sugest that the Mods now either close this feckin thread unless there are feckin positives about Nick Ross being uttererd. And can ya all push the green button as I need a boost.
  15. It may sound a wee bit inssneible fer the man who got turfed out of Tannadump fer using a swear word BUT I agree with you - to a degree. Am I not wrong in saying that the Away crowds are a real mix of ages and sexes ? There is a hard core who chant and there is the other "crew" who join in every now and again - TBH I cannot remember the last time that the entire away support STOOD up and sang in unison as they did at Tannadump - it was easier to see from the Home End But in such company the odd "rude" chant is chortled at but not repeated or if it is there is a senior derision voiced which is tolerated by the yoof. But you are both correct - supports are better when ya go through the repetoire of singing mainly the golden oldies. The "gang" at the back of Section G are the frustrated yoofs who have to watch the home performances and think that it is irritating peeple like Imrie to chant and chant the same abuse - Imrie must have feckin loved it - sadly that probably only upped his game. And dont anyone come up with the alcohol excuse - as ya can get just as much oiled at home as ya can do away. I would be a feckin season ticket holder if the TCS atmosphere was improved. And why do the feckin "tutters" and sweetie rustlers want to sit in a feckin seat behind the goals at every home match - and whilst I am on ma box - the real ABUSE from Section G is middle aged nomarks who complain about everything that a HOME player does wrong. Clear Section G of any season ticket holders but make it open space to anyone who wants to go in there and sing. Give me a feckin Yellow Jacket wiv IHE on it and I will "police" the feckin beautiful peeple who have ICT at their heart. For a few drams of course.
  16. Here is a psychological perspective - It would appear that most posters would have struggled to name a specific indivdual yesterday for MOM. Can anybody actually say that anybody in particular stood out. It is a bit like the Weakest Link - ya have one contestants who excels in three rounds but then goes off the boil, with the rest lagging as well, and the group dont make any money. The other contestants will still look at the exceller as being the "best" overall and may even say that the exceller remains the strongest link. Mind you the selector could have been pihsed as well .
  17. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm - did yer Gran clean fer Tony bullock ?
  18. Remember the free kick at Tynecastle and the celebration - It still brings a smile to ma visage and a warm glow.
  19. I have just pushed the +1 button fer this and an invite to the Seers Xmas do. But peruse the words of prophecy / wisdom again and I bet that there were a lot of us - especially those who witnessed the Tannadump performance - who internally agreed with what Hairy said but needed to put an optimistic front. Imrie to score - I should have put money on it. Hamilton simply know how to play against us at home - they have our system and our weakness sussed - and if Reid has sussed it then who else has. I bet there are also a number of armchair coaches who would revel in playing ICT at home. We are simply too predictable and we have to change the tactics and the approach. And to end on a positive - we can and will play as well again as we did at Tannadump - probably away from home but we simply have to improve on our home record or we will be battling in the relgation zone to the death.
  20. Lets retitle this thread "Scapegoat". Ross is a youngster who has earned his place but has been thrown in at the deep end becos of injury to Foran. Remember the same thing happened to Rory McAllister and how would you compare Ross to Rory ? I would say that Ross has significantly more promise of making it as a SPL player. But he needs experience - preferably from the bench - and of course he needs to muscle up - but did we not say the same about Barry Robson - or Obdhiambo - or even Rooney. Ross is the future of ICT and perhaps the finger of blame should be pointing at several of the "experienced" and seasoned professionals who were playing alongside Ross yesterday. And - here comes Hairy Chibber - as it completely frustates me that we continue to play Ross on his wrong foot. I can appreciate Hayes as he does come inside - but Ross to me is more of yer traditional Scottish right winger who uses his pace to hit the bye line. I would prefer to see Hayes and Ross switch - even fer longer periods in a game - and I can accept that he is just keeping the left berth warm fer Foran and Hayes will be first choice on the right - BUT it has to be horses for courses and ya play individuals to their strength and to the ultimate benefit of the team. TB frustrates me in regard to his apparent tactical reluctance to do this.
  21. I expected - on paper - 4 points from the first three games - zilch against Cellic, a draw at Tannadump and three against Hamilton. 1-0 yesterday was typical and we simply have to look at how we prepare tactically fer home games against teams who are going to defend and go fer a 1-0 win - and I suspect that we are talking about everybody bar the Old Firm - I can see Jam Tarts or Aberdire being slightly more offensive but they will primarily be trying to shut up shop. Personally I would be playing a bit more in the away style, playing deeper and trying to encourage teams to come at us - then if ya use the width of the likes of Hayes and Ross, the pace of Eric and the power of Rooney - ya just may get somewhere. We have to adopt the apparent away psyche at home. We are the type of team that when we get our noses in front ya can see a big difference. But even if we go down away from home ya still have the belief that we can come back. IF we had scored in 41 seconds it would have been a totally different story - but worringly we had 90+ minutes to claw it back and we appear to simply not have the class to do so. And that is a worry.
  22. Open Section G - as a start - as an open seat area - an do a feckin "pilot". Advise the stewards to take a very lenient view on proceedings - allow the chants to go - Hey feckin Presto. Do the feckin muppets have the bottle ? Otherwise - go ICT Away fer any feckin entertainment. Next Heading to Leith Road.
  23. HOME P 2 W 0 L 2 D 0 F 0 A 2 PTS 0 AWAY P 1 W 1 L 0 D 0 F 4 A 0 PTS 3 Join the ICT Away experience, next rolling into Leith Road on 11/09/2010.
  24. Psychology - TB is learning.
  25. If 12th Man went to a midweek League Cup game against Putridheid in rainy weather and sat in the lower Main Stand - it would be shocking if he wasnt psihed.
