  1. Especially fer King Beastie Terry and Mo (in drag!!)
  2. yea i realised that after i posted it, d'oh! unless a mod can change ma spellin 4 me. Fixed it... Did you move my Anti depressant post ya owd ******* ? Got in to the bar at Preston, phoned Mrs IHE who told me that the wee one had a sleepover at a mates last nite so I stayed out till 2.30 am and nobody knew anything different. Anyway its not elaborate - it is simple - Get a feckin Singing Section sorted out and employ Paisley stewards.
  3. The first half save at Paisley yesterday looked even better.
  4. DOH You are a prize ...........
  5. The corext speeling should be elaborate Otherwise a fine idea.
  6. You win the prize for being first to spot the deliberate mistake.
  7. That was the best trip that I have ever been on - well at least since Tannadump - but I lasted longer than Richie Foran and was even there to wave to Rosscoe at the final whistle. Great pre match banter in the salubrious surroundings of the Alamo Wine Bar - nice to see a smattering of the old codgers, the Central Belt Massive (even feckin Stan !!), the Sesh, the away regulars, some new faces and the solitary burd in the corner with the Guinness. Anyway it was a really dire first half but it was a wee bit of a flashback to the Jam Tarts game - in reverse - Proctor (thankfully in retrospect) a la Ian Black took an early knock and had to hop off - leading to the game winning shuffle, an Esson wonder save and a "killer" goal by Eric, a la Kevin Kyle, just before the break. Plus WE came out of the blocks with a vengeance and in a way, in retrospect, killed the game with a sclaffed second from Eric - or does he mean them ?!! It may well have been some tiredness from Wednesday night and having to play some players for too long but I also felt that we did get a bit over confident and sat back further than we had done all the game - it was a tactical ploy using the hoof to Rooney and Eric - which I can appreciate and understand. And lets face it - it was going to take a wonder goal to beat Esson yesterday and unfortunately it happened. I have to admit that although they never looked like scoring it was a bit of a tense last ten minutes. All in all we deserved to win and Midden were poor which helped as well. To me the difference between the two sides was that we used the width - especially Hayes - and we had pace, strength and movement up front with Rooney and Eric who will trouble any SPL team on the break. Isnt it great what a difference three days make - and Butcher can have a wry grin and a glass of red plonk knowing that he can justify his team selection at Parkdread And you could see what Esson and Tokely thought of the tremendous away support as they saluted the faithful at the end. And the delirious gathering of the SESH and the MOB rode back side by side on the train to central Station as the glorious vibes of "Caley Away with Terry and Mo filled the polluted Paisley air. And what about the stewards ? Take a feckin bow ladies and gentlemen ESSON I will give him my MOM as the save in the first half and one in the second simply kept us in the game. I thought that he was simply immense all through - what confidence that must induce in the defence (and it showed) plus his distribution, especially the quick throws, was first class - he really actually does deserve a cap at the moment - and boy must he be cheesing off Tuffey. PROCTOR Shame fer the lad but he is not a right back but he is a good cover squad player. His loss was ultimately our gain. ROSSCOE: Best all round performance in a long time - although I have to concede that Wardlaw is tailor made for him. But his graft and determination were shining examples to all around him, including the support in the away end. His clenched salute at the final whistle will live in my memory banks fer a while. GRANTY I feel that he is our most consistent performer at the moment. He simply led by example and didnt put a foot wrong. I am sure that it is a good bet that he would prefer to cover Shinnie rather than Lionel or Golly. SHINNIE Unsurprsingly nervous looking at the start and evidently targetted by Midden - but the lad stood his ground with the close suppoprt of Granty. I suspect that there is more to Shinnie than we saw yesterday as TB - or probably Mo - clearly instructed him to play in a no nonsense fashion and he followed the advice to the word. Gillet will be back in when he recovers but the wee man has made the left back position his own until then. HAYES He can be magic and a handful but he does frustrate me as he can disappear from the game for 5-10 minute spells and he faded again in the second half. But there is an air of expectation when he gets the ball wide with only the full back to take on. he is yer old fashioned "tanner ba" player and if he could deliver for 90 minutes he woll be some player. DUFF He was actually close to MOM. He is clearly an experienced right back - although he probably does not want to play there. But he has to stick there until Mccann comes back. His positioning and cover were first class and he was the first ICT right back that I have seen in a long time who thinks about the game, holds the line, slots in beside the central defenders when the attacks are down the right side and does not drift out wide until he has to. DUNCAN I think that Russeldhino simply answered "why did you drop me Terry?" question - not with words but with the battling performance where he quite clearly had a Nick Ross remote control in his back pocket. And what would we be saying if that chip in the second half had been on target. FORAN I feel that his mere presence lifted the team and the support. Quiet but effective would be my summing up and he lasted longer than I thought he would. But saying that I lasted longer than I thought I would !! ERIC Well you cant knock two goals and non stop running. He will never be my cup of tea or win prizes for touch and skill but his mere pace - especiallly away from home on the break - will simply murder the teams in the bottom half. First goal was brilliantly tucked away - second was sclaffed but as against Jam tarts he had the pace to be in the right spot at the right time. ROONEY This may be harsh and I suspect my expectation levels are now high but he disappointed me a bit yesterday. I appreciate that he was a lone striker and he did that job well. He is looking stronger by the game and his hold up lay and passing has improved immensely - but he is a natural goal scorer and he needs to learn to be predator who could be lethal if he targetted getting into the mix in the opponents box on a far more regular manner. ROSS Central midfield - where did that performance feckin come from. He simply has to be kept there until the injuries clear themselves up. Some of this tackling and defensive thinking was a joy - although Daddy Duncan earned his baby sitting money. GIL and MORRISON - both really taken on to play out time and rest Foran and Eric. STEWARDS SINGING SECTION INNOVATION SINGING SECTION PERFORMANCE :panda01: AWAY SUPPORT King Beastie on drums CALEY AWAY WITH TERRY AND MO
  8. So why is it that Stain Midden are the forerunners in installing a Singing Section out of two rows of bricks in the Lego Stand just beside the away support. Ok it was a bit of a YMCA support but that really could be the North Stand. Anyway I took a wee video of what the North Stand could look like in the future: Section G 2011
  9. That feckin report was closer to reaslity than I thought.
  10. HOME played 3 won 0 drawn 0 lost 3 for 1 against 5 points 0 AWAY played 3 won 2 drawn 1 lost 0 for 7 against 1 points 7 Altogether now - "Caley Away .... Terry and Mo"
  11. Excuse me - There's only one Terry and Mo.
  12. IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
Well I am giving you a red dot - never apologise to these feckers
  13. I dont think that many of us could have precisely selected any team fer any game previously this season but there is NO doubt whatsoever, barring an injury, that this WILL be the team that starts against Aberdire.
  14. Exfeckincactly Lets not start that again YET.
  15. May I take this opportunity to all the staff of the ICT CRHTT who were in attendance in Paisley yesterday. As predicted the "angels" provided the type of supportive interventions necessitated to nurse an ailing team. The renditions of "Terry and Mo" resounded and the full time responses from Messrs Tokely and Esson were the best "Thank You" cards that a team could ever wish. CaleyAway Bring on Killie, the Hunting Lodge and the "Pie" song.
  16. As a lead clinician fer the PeterKayshire CRHTT I would wish to declare a mission statement on behalf of Terry Butcher and ICT. The team has been put on a "red alert" and it requires fans to be tolerant, patient and to provide more support than usual. Our depleted ranks will undoubtedly apply 100% and so does the fan base. Starting tomorrow at Paisley we simply have to lift the atmosphere and we have to zip the lip to any criticism during the game and vent any frustaration in type on here thereafter. Tomorrow is all about total encouragement and support from the first second to the last. We simply have to stay and applaud them off if we win, lose or draw. So swear allegiance ya feckers - our club is in an injury / selection crisis - and I seriously think that we can be a 12th man fer the next few weeks - HOME and away. PAISLEY - BRING IT ON.
  17. Cox or Muff - hopefully I will never be in a position to choose!!
  18. Have a feckin green dot ya **** - thought you only posted in the SFL !!!
  19. Green dot - fer having the bravery to apologise And now you are only 87 green dots behind me
  20. Green dot ma son Do I know your mother ? At this time of stress this is exactly what we need. Mahonio is next ?
  21. While its annoying, frustrating, embarassing and so on to get beat by such a margin i can see Butchers logic. He has clearly identified the league as priority for us this season and i completely agree. We simply cannot afford to be relegated again and while the result was so frustrating i sincerely hope it aids our league campaign. I am the first to admit that i was nearly tearing my hair out reading live commentary of the game and was so frustrated after the game but now that i have had a chance to reflect ive come to the conclusion that if it helps us get points in the league, then fielding a weaker team was a necessary evil. i still stand by my comment in the matchday thread that we seriously need to look at strentghening our backline I'll give you a green dot fer that squire and if TB had posted his comments I would have given him a green dot as well. I suspect that the peeple calling fer TB's head are simply projecting their anger about the start to this season in itself, the fact that we havent replicated the results of last season, over expectations and a hammering to boot. I suspect I would have felt worse if I had spent good money going there. TBH - even though I have the advantage of being a seer - I could see this coming a mile off and that is why I have saved ma spondoolicks fer Paisley. If you read in to TB's comments it was clearly a calculated decision and therefore must have been supported by the players. If only TB had given a strong hint to the travelling support and offered a bit of an apology as well. I have also to admit that I was looking fer a good cup run this season but lets face it - yon stoopid seeding and getting Cellic at home almost sealed our doom. It must be so frustrating for Terry and Mo to lose so many players at an early stage and we may well all have been decrying him if the likes of Rooney or hayes got injured - plus he had to play Tuffey to keep his interest going. I would actually not have complained if he had piled in youngsters in each full back position. The league is where it is all about - I also fear a bit for the present back line but three of the probable starters are benched. But Stain Midden havent got much pace up front so that may be our godsend.
  22. Have a green dot mate but stop pinching one of my fave words "alluded". It must be really difficult to pick some positives out of last nights performance but you have And Don weighs in with Nick Ross as well
  23. No more green dots left sorry ihe. I wish we had a scoreboard and bar like Fleetwood town. I think I'll keep our players tho sorry. It did say "if ICT were an English club" so I was alluding to the same players, fans, manager, coaches and backroom staff (minus the muppets as a swap for me millionaire mate and his lads ), standing on the terraces, no OTT stewarding, the bar open throughout and OK the scoreboard.
  24. There is no way that I am going after that debacle last night and that eejit in charge
  25. From a professional perspective - he would have quite a feckin point. As fer the Cellic game it was in the mix when we lost the early goal - I would actually have jerked more if it had been a league game and/or we hadnt got a depleted side out
