  1. Excellent but we will have to follow Doonhammer tradition and follow the serenade with 50 "bumps" and a cascade in to the River Nith. But will the old git be up to it ? :011:
  2. I am looking forward to a sheg in ma private room Stephanie.
  3. Well at least the Fuerher Smith isnt about to instruct the Luftwaffe to bomb the faithful.

It is all about the muppets trying to save face and project the blame - until we get rid of the Self Preservation Society we are quite simply fecked - Smell the feckin coffee.
  5. This post was taken from the Airdrie Home game thread - and I was ridiculed Roberts nets pen as Ayr go forward and forward My tea cup suggests that Rosscoe has fractured his wrist ?? Rosscoe has been carrying this injury since - or is it his back ?

Or a night of drinks at the Heathmount.
  7. I think what Absent minded is trying to point out is that it is the muppets who are to blame and it is they who should be history. I think that Lady Mabel needs sectioning if she derives any form of sexual pleasure through any form of communication with renegade.
  8. Could have been worse - it could have said Terry Butcher 1890.
  9. Reckon I could be lying prostrate in the Bridge End goalmouth again. :D
  10. Well I am looking forward to Dumfries - a feckin BAR under the main stand and a 5 minute crawl to the away stand (mind you I am usually only a 5 minute scooby ride away !!) - that is what we need at TCS - more feckin alcohol.
  11. Aye but it was beer and adrenaline driven plus the best first half performance fer manys a year - even the fact that the "singers" were separated did not prevent sections joining in with each other.
  12. Does anyone else think that Rosscoe is carrying a back injury - I have to admit that I thought that Butcher had put the leash on him but he has struggled more this season than any I can recall. The problem with Bulvitis is that he is prone to making at least one error per game - a bit Zadiesque - and I still think that he is a full back. The problem with the middle two at the back is that we are lacking in options.
  13. In the second half we were out thought and out run by a more determined, fiiter and younger outfit. Some of us have been there but what about the Jocky Scott / Dundee half time talk - I would have said that it was a pretty effective one - you ar 2-0 down, you should be dead and buried and then you score - that is the biggest buzz that you can get.
  14. I see a lack of consistency in the above. We agree that JS got the tactics right in the second half putting Griffiths on the wing when the park turned into a ploughed field and heavyweights were at a disadvantage HOWEVER the goals came from their right side and I do not see Golly being held to blame at all - only Rossco is mentioned and he was against the star player on the park. If Lionel was left back this whole forum would be exploding with anti-Lionel comments. Golly must be well related!! I would agree that Golly also had a poor game - I have said elsewhere that Golly, Rosscoe and Russell all toiled in the conditions. I have also already said that I felt that Jimmy Zadi could do a job in the SFL and the return of Golly really surprised me. Still the muppets love the old school dont they - what we shuld be donig is pitching in some of the yoof and looking to the future - but the muppets have to save face this season dont they ?
  15. Barring injury it simply has to be same again - I am now reliably informed that the 2 players that Butcher was referring to earlier this month were Imrie and Rosscoe. :P
  16. At the time I thought that he must have picked up a knock - shurely that is true - becos if it was tactical it was avery negative move - although I would have hooked Sanchez fer Cox in 60-70 minutes.
  17. I have to almost totally agree with that :P I would have said that Proctor should have been deeper, almost doubling up fer Rosscoe - IMHO we were the older team - Rosscoe, Golly and Duncan ALL toiled in that conditions. I would have hooked Rosscoe and Duncan with the game at 2-2 and - lets face it - the double substitution should have been 15-20 minutes earlier - there is no real argument about that. Feckin great day out apart from that 45 minutes - and the polis and the stewards did approach me on a few occasions but it was pure banter and craic - and Joe Di Maggio had better sort out his highlights But lets face it - Dundee deserved it in the end - if it was a fight it would have been a split decision - but yon first half display must make most ICT fans see what we can be capable of - and talking to some neutrals they thought that it was as good a game of fooyball as they had seen in years. But mention must go to my brother in law and his son who followed Wigan to White Hart Lane and the stewards wouldnt allow them to leave until 15 minutes after the final whistle.
  18. Cant argue with that one - according the Scottish Sun Butcher states that his half time talk was all about being solid and aware that Dundee would be going hell fer leather from the off. IMHO Jocky Scott got it rite and started playing it wide - especially to Griffiths who had poor Rosscoe on toast and he really got their midfield harrassing which they were not doing in the first half. We are realyy going to sleep defensively and it is costing us - as Glebeict remarked that surpises me - we really need a solid, pacy central defender in the New Year.
  19. lets hope its a wet Sunday :(
  20. I do not wish to alarm anybody but  :
  21. Well if it is a choice between the Govan Hilton and the Travel lodge - bring it on - as long as the lesbian karaoke is on in Brechins - will txt ya.
  22. Whats funny about it ? I thought that it was a serious suggestion which was well worth consideration.
  23. That's a fantastic interview. I'd only ever really seen Pele speak in after-match interviews, when it was the usual cagey, dour Scottish manager stuff - I'd never realised the extent of the humour and warmth and modesty the guy has. It kind of gave me a shiver when he talked about wishing he could have finished his career at Inverness, like Guy Roux at Auxerre - realistically, it would probably have gone sour at some point, but I still have this dream of us playing fast, recklessly exciting Pele-style football in the SPL. Abstinence makes the heart grow fonder ??
  24. :D Succinct and straight to the jugular - absolutely spot on. Every forum should have erseholes like poor old Renegade and myself - but nobody protects or listens to me when I am being abused as I regularly am :D
