Brewster Poll
Well - 20 is more than we took to Berwick and QOS midweek - and 1 was me - who are the other 19 dudes who think that Brewster should be sacked ?

FAO those who think it is too late
Get a striker before the window closes and we will survive - Brew will change his pack but surely even his inept tactics would be overshadowed by the players. Somebody new is actually coming in to something promising.

I still have a lot of respect fer Grassa - He is Inverness born and bred, he played for the Sneck and I know that he has the club at heart. He is just becoming a "puppet" and he probably fears fer his job and toes the party line. It would appear that he has got too big for his boots and he should remember his roots.

Brew obsessed with having his own team?
- Barrowman
Wow - it must be bad - I am agreeing with peeple - but this is spot on. Lets be honest - You take a look at the match - You take a look at the conditions - you look at the opposition - there is a feckin heavy rain and gale warning - Who would you pick - Barrowman / Rooney / Wood / Morais ? Would you go 4-5-1 or 4-4-2- If we go down..............
I actually believe that we are close to having a strong team / squad and I believe that we already have the passion to survive. We need a centre forward and we need to dump Brewster. I fear he will be targetting Tokely, Duncan and Munro next.- Hamilton Smileymometer
Perhaps the rain got in my eyes ? He had relatively little to do - he was effective enuff - and looks good - but rarely ventured forward or showed the urgency of Munro or Tokely.- Brewster's comments in The Herald
Shocking but I now have a clear diagnosis: Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, the diagnostic classification system used in the United States, as "a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and a lack of empathy." [ DSM Criteria A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:[1] has a grandiose sense of self-importance is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love believes that he or she is "special" and unique requires excessive admiration has a sense of entitlement is interpersonally exploitative lacks empathy is often envious of others or believes others are envious of him or her shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes- fans in-fighting
Yeah.... But he's used to that! He feckin love it - ask his wife and her whip _ where is f***ballers wife ? And as fer the handbag clash - the cheeky **** behind me said it would have been a case of Evander Hollyfield and a featherweight. :018: ;) :thumb04:- Hamilton Smileymometer
My mind travelled back to the Tartan Army days - the days of Berti Vogts. Ya went to a game dispirited, with little belief of actually winning, sang yer hearts out - We'll be coming" - and then after fantastic pre match bonding - you stand / sit there for a couple of hours and you have to watch the direst garbage imaginable. You say / sing / state yer resentment and then rejoin yer peers in drowning yer sorrows. Well I loved the Hamilton trip - apart from the period between 14.50 and 17.50. As fer the game I may surprise you by saying that the second half perfomance had positives and gives me hope of survival. The first half was wholly spoiled by Brewsters tactics but we deserved a point at least by the end and you could see that there was no lack of passion, determination and/or spirit. Hamilton were AWFUL and they beat us !! ESSON :015: :D :P Had relatively little to do but showed a sense of urgency from the first touch to the very last - regularly bantered with the fans and applauded at the end. ROSSCOE :021: :D :D :D :D My man of the match and now a TRUE LEGEND in my eyes. The man epitomised the old spirit. He gave his feckin all and how I wish he had scored late on. At the end he stormed off to the dressing room. I suspect he may have been a bit mad at the Brew chanting - on top of everything else - but he gave 110% yesterday and he showed that he is passionate about this club - RESPECT MIHADJUKS :D :D :D Looks good fer the future - Clearly not match fit - so why was he started ? MUNRO :D :D :D Best game of the season - Appeared to be relieved / released by the fact that he wasnt partnering Bambi or Maguire. Again made a B line to the support at the end - RESPECT HASTINGS :D :D One question - why did he start ? ROYSTER :D :D A bit of an invisible day - but why was he played wide, wide rite fer the first twenty minutes before being put back in to partner Duncan COWIE :D :D :018: One question - same one as the last ten smileymometers - Where was he supposed to be playing ? I tried to keep an eye on him and from my perspective his position changed FIVE times in the first half - and none where he had an influence - why didnt he start wide, wide rite instead of Royster ? DUNCAN :D :D :D Usual sturdy performance - unsung hero - and did he look cheesed off at being hooked or what ? VIGURS :D :D ;) So we have a young man who is capable of taking over the playmaker role from Ian Black - so why play him on the wide, wide left - even putting Royster in central midfield before him. MORAIS :D :D A bit Niculae - esque but that is not a bad thing. He isnt match fit and the conditions didnt suit either - he is not exactly the first pick for a relegation battle in a gale and driving wind. One for the future without a doubt BUT why did he start ? BARROWMAN :D :D :thumb04: Personally I would have given Rooney a run before him but AGAIN - one look at the conditions and I would have had Barrowboy and Morais sitting it out and sent on the two battlers - Wood and Rooney - from the off - especially with a howling gale behind us in the first half. SUBS - Why Wood first ? Why Rooney too late ? Imrie was dire - he spent more time trying to communicate with the fans. OH - and did anyone else notice that FIVE players - albeit surreptitiously - responded by a clap, a nod, a thumbs up or wink to the Brewster Out chants. So why didnt we win ? CRAIG BREWSTER- fans in-fighting
What garbage - the old guy in the kilt was being targetted and verbally abused.- Hamilton -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Believe it or not - I was the individual who was picked on !! :018: :thumb04: I have to admit that the red mist came over and I asked my initial complainant to step outside - thankfully he didnt - and I then apologised to him for my behaviour. But in retrospect a wee smack may have been appropriate - I apologised becos I thought that he was just another frustrated fan and that I was totally out of order in being so agressive to him and I realised that I was only directing my frustration at him. But he stood up, pointed his finger at me, told me to "Shut up" and to support the team. I was singing from the off and yon wee ****** spent the rest of the game sitting silently with his arms crossed, , only moving to tut and chastise anyone who dared pick on Brewster. The two ladies in front of me declared that I was a bad example to the younger fans sitting around me and suggested that once I was a season ticket holder I could fairly complain. But apart from those three sweet rustling moaners the craic was like the days of yore. But as the two ladies also pointed out "how many will be at Tynecastle ?". ME - GTF- Hamilton Game (merged)
PM sent. Anyone else that fancies it, from 11am at the Bar downstairs in Central near Burger King. Feck me - I am having second thoughts - outnumbered by feckin Jeggies - I dont feckin believe it - mind you one Howden Ender could always see off a group of washed up middle class toffs from up the Hill. BRING IT ON.- Flags of Inconvenience
Well I would be offended.- Congratulations to Calum & Jill
Congratulations to ya both - but you could have used an ICT name - like Phillipe or Pavel or Izzy.- Define "experienced"?
Feck me - you wouldnt find many able women in feckin Wales a lot older than you now - except perhaps in the Nursing Homes of the Valleys. I would prefer to use words like "reliable .. skilled .. proven .. fit .. motivated", preferably with a point to prove or able to pass on their knowledge of the game to others .. an example / somebody to look up to and learn from.- HAMILTON PUB INVITE
Never mind boys _ I hear that there will be plenty of Chambers pots fer yas to use.- "WE'LL KEEP SIGNING"
This is beginning to look like a clear out - but it is beginning to look like the replacements are coming in fer Brews previous signings and his faves. The positives are that these players should be good enuff to keep us in the SPL but they are all coming in on short contracts and what happens in the Summer - The first three are looking to impress (others) - and if they do - they will be going elsewhere - the last two are "journeymen" - good enuff to get you out of a hole but not fer the future. It would appear that the Board are trying to survive on the basis of the next four months - I will doff my cap and give them all a chance but my major concerns are that this is like putting a plaster on an open wound, this is harm reduction and not future planning and does Brewster have the aptitude to blend them quickly enuff into a team as I suspect that all five will be in the starting line ups in the near future - and at who's expense. Well - only time will tell !! By the way - didnt I tell ya all it was Dinning he was after !!- HAMILTON PUB INVITE
I am rather concerned that there appears to be a lot of old gits coming to Chambers - will us young uns be free to use the toilets when there will evidently be a frequency of micturition need.- We don't need a new Striker?
Spot on - but I suspect that Brew thinks that we can survive with our strikers and Morais. It will be interesting if he adheres with Barrowman on Saturday - at least that would be a bit of consistency. If he goes back to Rooney or Wood it would be a shure sign that Brew is truly a numpty. From what I have seen this season Rooney is my first choice but he is still raw - I would certainly be using him from the bench earlier that we have been - Wood is still to really impress me and he should wait in the wings - Barrowman is the more stylish but he is a penalty box forward and does not appear to relish the target man / holding forward role. Me - I would have bought in an old head and put Wood back out on loan. But it may be a case of lets see what Barrowman can do with a wee run of games. One wonders what a Niculae / Morais pairing would have done ?- ICT sign Richard Byrne
Another shrewd signing - lets sign anyone who cant speak or read English.- ICT Sign Mihadjuks
Pavlov has me drooling. - Barrowman
