Radio Tay announce bids accepted by ICT......
As revealed early last week I was reliably informed that the fee is in the area of 100K but will consist of payments dependent on appearances, caps and a percentage of any future transfer fee. I understand that Proctor will be a 25K fee. But it will go towards a final bid fer Rankin which will be 60-65K max. but outbids any of the other chasing packs. Just call me "Scoop". :021:

Mark Brown Article, Sunday Mail
Well done Broonie..but I thought that the little editorial clip beside it, with a couple of veiled quotes from Brown, said more about our transfers situation than anything else I have read. You may have to be psychologically minded tho to read between the lines.

Flynn wants financial assurances Flynn is keen to attract TV and sponsor's money Livingston owner Pearse Flynn wants the Scottish Football League to provide evidence that the current set-up will remain financially viable. Flynn has been at the centre of talks about a breakaway league by clubs concerned by the lack of a sponsor and television revenue in the SFL. The SFL has warned that it will oppose any such breakaway. "If the SFL can convince us there is something positive ahead in terms of finances, we'll listen," said Flynn. "We need to go back to the principle of why we are doing this and why there is talk of a breakaway league. "We can't sit back and hope it gets better by itself. There is not enough money in the SFL and we hope that point will be addressed." Hamilton Accies and Clyde have also been key players in discussions so far, while Gretna owner Brooks Mileson has indicated that he would like to see the current set-up restructured. Flynn became involved after his side's relegation from the SPL. "At the first meeting, I found the financial figures in the SFL quite shocking," he added. "We have come forward and spoken about that and it's worked. There is now dialogue going on, but we need to do more than just talking. "The only money coming into the SFL is from the SPL. Seventy-five per cent of that money is divided between all 30 clubs. "There is no money from sponsors or television and that is a concern for every club whether they say it in public or not." SPL survival is ESSENTIAL

New Club Anthem - Feckin sorted
Was listening to the end of the Watford v Leeds play off game and there it came..."Hi-Ho Silver Lining"..It just feckin leapt out of me..I may have my own composition but this should be collaborative. May I suggest that the entrance song on the tannoy and the song after we score a home goal and undoubtedly an Away Anthem is around this specific song. So "Hi - Ho Caley Thistle everywhere that we go" is the first line. So please lets have a go at the rest. :005: :005: Its the feckin HMS Sneck feckin anthem.

Mackintosh faces police questions By Richard Eden and Tim Walker, Mandrake (Filed: 07/05/2006) Sir Cameron Mackintosh is to be interviewed by detectives as part of Scotland Yard's investigation into the "cash for honours" affair. The West End theatre owner and impresario has agreed to meet officers when he returns to London next week from a holiday abroad. Sir Cameron Mackintosh The producer of such hit musicals as Les Misérables and Mary Poppins was knighted under John Major's Conservative government, but used some of his estimated £400 million fortune to help to bankroll Labour's 1997 general election campaign. The 59-year-old impresario has been entertained at Chequers by Tony and Cherie Blair. 400 feckin million :010: :010: Police and fire officers have begun investigating a blaze which destroyed the West Highland home of theatre impresario Sir Cameron Mackintosh. The alarm was raised after flames were spotted coming from the isolated house on the shores of Loch Nevis early on Saturday morning. AN 81-YEAR-OLD crofter has won a six-year battle against the millionaire theatre producer Sir Cameron Mackintosh to stop trees being planted on land where he was born. The West End impresario, who has produced smash hits such as Cats and Les Misérables, owns the 13,000-acre North Morar estate in Lochaber and went to court last year to try to resolve the dispute. And here are the feckin links :010: :010: :010:
