  1. Feck me - perhaps he has got Seasonal Adjustment Disorder - no wonder he looked fecked in the gloom yesterday.
  2. More subdued than Well. Too much travelling and not enuff alcohol - well apart from King B, Govan J and Stirling O !! Loved the ditty that may have caused some offence given the E-Coli scare in Paisley: We've got Marius Niculae - Youve got E Coli. :rotflmao:
  3. As my old buddy Eric Idle once said to me - "If life seems jolly rotten There's something you've forgotten And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing. When you're feeling in the dumps Don't be silly chumps Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing. And...always look on the bright side of life... Always look on the light side of life..."
  4. :rotflmao: You really are improving. As I said to ya nothing wrong with stimulation of discussion. :001:
  5. Is everybody aware that this thread is psychologically linked to being bottom of the table and the anxieties about players, points etc. Its called avoidance - Avoidance is a simple way of coping by not having to cope. When feelings of discomfort appear, we find ways of not experiencing them. According to the dynamic theory, avoidance is a major defense mechanism in phobias. Procrastination is another form of avoidance where we put off to tomorrow those things that we can avoid today.
  6. This all reminds me of a song that Ray Stevens once crooned to me called "Everything is beautiful". The serenading words now, on perusing this thread, make total sense - "There is none so blind as he who will not see. We must not close our minds; we must let our thoughts be free."
  7. As Yazz once said to me twice "The only way is up baby for you and me now"
  8. Lets not forget that, apart from Niculae, our budget is bargain basement and makes the search more difficult. My concern is that, like the January window, we may have decided to go with what we got. The defenders that we sought, prior to Watt looked like squad additions and cover to me. We have to get feckin meaner.
  9. I try not to misuse my gift of foresight but I am merely trying to forewarn the club and the supporters that there is a storm brewing in my teacup that has to be quelled. Unfortunately my professional training leads me to being objective and neutral in regard to my feedback and I am not drawn in by the current air of hysteria and hope. Many away fans agree with my formulation. And as the great George Bernard Shaw once said to me: "The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who dont have it"
  10. Marius will skin him and embarass him.
  11. Aye - the drinks are on Marius. He earned his ?4000 today.
  12. He may need them. Lets hope that he is as good at selling pegs.
  13. So to be a class player ya have to perfect the High5, run after balls in front of your support to impress, wear white boots and capitalise on a defensive mistake. :crazy07:
  14. Of course Bingo was lazy but he won games with touches of genius. Cannot believe the defences of Niculae. He chased back ONCE fer 60 yards but when the player played the ball inside he stopped, brushed back his hair and tied his white shoe laces. he picked up the ball as a feckin show to the fans. Are ya all feckin blind or what?
  15. Bayne was played to accomodate Niculae. When did you see Niculae busting a gut to get into the box, going out wide to make space, speeding back to cover. Fer fecks sake he has his white boots and perm to consider.
  16. Dargo is miles ahead of Deano and yards ahead of the unfit Niculae. Dargo had pace and passion. Dargo was a predator and the perfect foil fer a target man.
  17. I will be very interested to see how he performs on his home debut next week and the reaction of the fans. I have read on several threads that he is "class" and has played well. Well I would say BOLLICKS as he has not impressed me in the least. The hysteria has blinded some fans. He is NOT fit and should not be starting - He should NOT have got 90 minutes today - he was clearly fecked. He may well improve and I would love to see what he is like behind the scenes and at training. He is either going to improve and be the Messiah or he is going to take us down. He has that air of arrogance but does he have the heart and the committment. He strolls about the pitch, caressing his hair,he looks lazy and has no sign of pace. Good players have a presence about them, they do 1-2 things in a game that take yer breath away or something that sepeartes them from others. Juanjo had that quality, so had Bingham - Niculae doesnt. Sure he has good touches but not awe inspiring. He doesnt run the line - he is not a penalty box player - he is a target man. Bayne is evidently not the partner. And the goal today - bad mistake by the full back who slipped - superb cross from Niculae but Cowie's run was the "class" in the move.
  18. There were three occasions, at least today, when a quick throw was on but it was left to Granty. We have wasted time as Dods is a captain and an out and out defender - Dargo is a pacy, goalscorer, who gets in the box. Both should have been replaced and havent. Too much of being feckin nice. :018:
  19. FRASER :011: :011: :011: Blameless again for the goals - need to see the second again tho - so frustrating how he stays on his line at dead ball situations. TOKELY :011: :011: :011: Pretty good game. Always made himself available. Terrible lapse of concentration for the first goal. HASTINGS :023: Has evidently lost his confidence. Got a few more bollockings today. Hooked !! CAFF :001: :001: He just isnt up to it - a shadow of the player 3 seasons ago. Appeared to have been told to stay stuck in the middle of the defence and to pass it as quickly as possible to the nearest person available. That made him look a bit better although. to be fair, he did put a few good tackles in. GRANTY :001: :001: :001: Tries and tries. Fairly solid as ever but is he trying too hard or is it that he is too busy looking after and covering fer Caff and Hastings. I would seriously relieve him of the captaincy. COWIE :011: :011: :011: :011: My MOM - not difficult tho !! Another engine like McBain with a fair bit of skill and pace attached. Brilliant run fer the goal. BUT where was he supposed to be playing - it certainly wasnt right feckin midfield. DUNCAN :011: :011: :011: Solid enuff but was practically the playmaker for long spells. Sprayed balls a la Ray "The Crab" Wilkin. BLACK :011: :011: :011: Made mega space today and got a lot of passes to his feet which he dealt well with. Appeared to be playing to far forward - almost off the front two. I have never seen him do that before so I take it that it was tactical. Hooking him was ridiculous. RANKIN :011: :011: :011: So promising but fails to deliver - what a waste of a sweet left foot. Actually lookede the part at left back. :024: BAYNE :011: :011: The target man - which basically meant that we had no threat going forward as his touches were either going back into midfiel or into Midden territory. NICULAE :023: Not feckin impressed at all. I will deal with him elsewhere. :008: To be honest as EWS said Midden were garbage and they still deserved to beat us. We played well in spells but we are toatally devoid of ideas 30 yards out. We had no width and everything was going to Bayne and Niculae. Bazza did make a bit of a difference but this was the day to try Zander. Wyness should have been on a lot earlier. The never ending change of the system in the second half evidently showed that panic was setting in. Every time Midden broke ya felt our defence was leaky. Bayne + Niculae doesnt feckin work. Am I pissed off or what ?
  20. :001: Mannesque perhaps ? But mow the time is nigh and we head to Paisley with a mixture of hope, passion, anticipation and dread in our hearts nand as Walt Whitman once lyrically read to me: As the time draws nigh glooming a cloud, a dread beyond of I know not what darkens me. I shall go forth, I shall traverse the SPL awhile, but I cannot tell whither or how long, perhaps soon some day or night while I am singing my voice will suddenly cease. O book, O chants! must all then amount to but this? Must we barely arrive at this beginning of us? --and yet it is enough, O soul; O soul, we have positively appear'd--that is enough. Amen to that.
  21. Feck me .. thats my new tatoo fecked. [img width=500 height=580]http://www.mehndi.originationinsite.com/communities/004/005/364/933/images/4512248060.jpg
