  1. None of which are the famous Austrian duo :017: - how weird :024:
  2. According to the Inverness Courier website there may be as many as 4 players on trial this week... CHARLIE Christie has given four trialists just over a week to impress him as he begins to focus on Caley Thistle’s opening game of the new SPL season against Rangers. Austrians Dominique Taboga, a central defender, and striker Benedict Bauer are due to link up with the rest of Christie’s squad for pre-season training today, and they could be joined by a Scottish player. A mystery French defender is also set to arrive later in the week, although Christie and director of football Graeme Bennett will hold discussions before confirming if they want the player to come over on trial.
  3. Plus a French centre half
  4. Sky Sports running a similar story although what they say is HE WANTS TO JOIN US...... The Romanian striker has expressed a wish to join the SPL club after spending the second half of last season in Germany with Mainz. So I wonder what happens now??
  5. I wonder if these lads are still going to appear?
  6. Hastings and Black are injured - fingers crossed it's not too serious :029:
  7. I see they are forking out a fair bit of cash for Lee McCulloch and yet they aren't prepared to offer a reasonable fee for Naismith who is already a better player :017:
  8. Hart didn't play in the 3-1 home defeat so I'm guessing tin Can Fan means the game we won 2-1. Anyway I'm a bit surprised everyone has picked Wilson in there team I have a sneaking suspicion he will be replaced by Cowie this season and be more of a super sub.
  9. I would cash him in now if they are willing to pay decent money. Is £100k decent money? Hibs got £4.4 million for Scott Brown - he's not 44 times better than Black!! We don't need to sell him so only silly money should be excepted
  10. From stv.sport...... Inverness left-back Richard Hastings expects his return to favour with Canada to have a positive impact on his club form. The 30-year-old Caley Thistle defender played five internationals for Canada over the summer and had only two weeks off due to his involvement in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. He said: "It's a great lift to get my place back in the Canadian team and play in every game, so it gives me confidence for the new SPL season." Hastings, who joined Inverness in 1995 and has spent all bar three seasons since then at the Highlands club, is now back with his Caley team-mates. Their first match in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League is at home against title hopefuls Rangers on August 4. Let's hope the fact he's only had 2 weeks off doesn't catch up with him
  11. Perhaps he's signed for them then although I have no idea who they are or even where they are from :rolleyes02:
  12. No idea what you are talking about? :024:
  13. Let's face it it's HIGHLY unlikely we'll get this guy but the club should be applauded for at least trying. It's brought a great deal of positive publicity the clubs way and shows we are at least heading in the right direction :clapping03: Now let's try and find a quality defender :022:
  14. That's exactly waht the new guy at Motherwell said!! Bet they are delighted to hear that :tic01:
  15. It's probably the £35K we got for selling them Hissy a couple of seasons ago :004:
  16. Isn't this an old story?? Pele Is God mentioned us approaching a Romainian who was also an ex Sporting Lisbon player last week and not being able to match his wage demands :024:
  17. Welcome aboard Dean. Here's hoping you have a long and fruitful ICT Career. I'm not going to proclaim you as the new goalscoring messiah just yet but I'll be keeping my fingers crossed :004: I wonder if he's a 'young' enough 21 to count towards the SPL quota??
  18. Has anyone else heard a rumour about our interest in a young Sheffield Wednesday player?? Not sure how reliable the info is to be honest it was a bit of 'a-friend-of-a-friend was speaking to one of our ex managers!' type deal :rolleyes02:
  19. Another poster has said they aren't coming for another couple of weeks due to 1 of them being injured??
  20. Painful viewing just now. Scots getting a footballing humping :009:
  21. Based on signings to date I think I'll have to modify my table a bit.... 1. Celtic 2. Rangers 3. Hearts 4. Aberdeen 5. Hibs 6. Dundee United 7. Kilmarnock 8. Falkirk 9. St. Mirren 10. Motherwell 11. ICT 12. Gretna
  22. What does it matter? Some folk are able to pay much more to follow the team than others that doesn't make them better supporters
  23. Actually Levein was quite canny. He bailed out before his No 1 signing target turned him down therefore making it look like he was in charge. Don't kid yourself Porter was your major summer signing priority. Move on to Plan B :004: Now he looks like he's going to join Motherwell
  24. Next week!! Looks like this one has the potential to drag on for a bit (as usual) :029:
  25. Should be playing for Hibs with a haircut like that :004:
