Trialists?
Well Sean Taylor won't be joining us. Apparently he had second thoughts driving up here for his trial period and turned his car round and went home :006:

Trialists?
Sean Taylor, 20, Ex-Captain of Sundeland Reserves. Apparently a full back but can play in middle as well CC quoted again as being happy with his current squad

mcswegan
He's VERY very unlikely ever to play for us especially with the Under-21 rule Was the problem not more the big wages he was on at County. Grandpa Smith gave him a long, lucrative contract

Blackie Signs 'til 2009...
Good News & Bad News???

I'm not exactly thrilled with the signing of McSwegan but at least he gives us some cover up front. I don't expect to see him actually play though unless we are struck by several injuries or suspensions. Him getting a game would mean that Bayne or Rory aren't preceived as good enough by the management.

Nothing about McSwegan leaving on Ross County website. Does say Winters has been released though

I shall pray it is a rumour. They were mentioning it on TJE as well though. PLEASE BE A RUMOUR :016:

:010: It's not a joke is it :009: Can't believe it to be honest. He couldn't even get on the bench for County when he was fit!!! I think no signings would have been better than this :008:

Bob Malcom would be a better bet than Marvin Andrews

Even County signed someone today!! D'oh. I think it's fair to say we either couldn't afford anyone or couldn't persuade them to move up here :006:

Well Miller IS signing for Aberdeen now. Does that mean the Stewart move is back on? Guess not it appears Falkirk signed him. Looks like we'll have to pin our hopes on these trialists - if they actually appear

John Stewart!! :017: Glad that fell through I'm glad CC is happy with our current squad as his is the opinion that really matters - not sure many of the fans would agree though :006: Is Miller to Aberdeen definitely off - the Aberdeen & United fans still seem to think its a goer

falkirk had a bid accepted by aberdeen for john stewart so that rules him out, miller gonig to aberdeen to repalce crawford if mackie agrees to move to tannadice

I've been wondering all day who this forward we are interested in may be. I can't even work out which SPL club it might be. No side outwith the OF are over burdened with strikers. Chances are it'll come to nothing as usual and we'll never know.

Transfer Coup of the decade
There was speculation made by BBC commentators during the World Cup that 'foreign' money was behind the transfer of Tevez to Corinthians and that it wouldn't be long before he appeared in Premiership

The next 2 games are vital
I'm hoping for 9 which may be a bit greedy but hopefully not

Blackie Signs 'til 2009...

Transfer Coup of the decade
If this is true then West Ham have pulled off one of the biggest transfer coups of all time CLICK HERE

Blackie Signs 'til 2009...
What I read says that they are hoping to have it signed over the weekend or by Monday (AGAIN!!!!)

We certainly seem to be the least active SPL team in the transfer market. I think most fans would agree we do need to strengthen the squad but are the funds there? Apparently we have been making some 'enquiries' about a couple of SPL players over the last few days but GB said if anyone comes in then someone else would have to go out on loan!! :017:
-
Ian Black
It also makes the club look a bit foolish coming out with these statements that never come to fruition :006:

CIS Cup Draw
These ties usually get played on the Tuesday night unless either of the teams is playing on the previous Sunday

New chairman to invest
USA just the beginning? From P & J Online..... Caley Thistle are set to spend next summer in the United States as the club embarks on a drive to establish a global brand. New chairman Alan Savage wants to capitalise on the Highland ex-pat communities across the world. He will kick off ambitions plans next month when he meets with a potential US partner.

New chairman to invest
There is an article in P&J online saying we might go to the USA for pre-season next year to establish us as a global brand :010:
