Ian Black
Someone on another thread jogged my memory that his contract extension was meant to be signed over the weekend when his agent got back from Greece :006: Any news?

Alarm Bells Yes Or No?
I'm probably just showing my age but 4-4-2 always meant to me wingers getting to the byline and crossing the ball - a bit like our goal against St Mirren actually. Rangers will score a lot of goals this season once they get Burke fit. With him and Martin firing balls into Boyd he'll easily be the top scorer in the country. I bet if you asked Dargo he'd bite your arm off for such service rather than him having to try and win the ball punted up to him against 6-ft plus defenders. On the subject of Morgan I may well be wrong but I'm pretty sure I did read an article about him as I remember being surprised he didn't consider (alledgedly) himself a midfielder

Alarm Bells Yes Or No?
It doesn't seem to be the Rossco of old just now - I'm sure he'll bounce back though. I'm wondering if he still is being hampered by injury and playing through the pain barrier. There was an article/profile either in the Highland News or the Courier of Morgan a year ago or so which said he considered himself to be a left back but was prepared to play in left midfield if asked to. Hopefully someone else will remember reading that as well :004:

Alarm Bells Yes Or No?
Hart is a central midfielder who CAN play on the right McBain is a central midfielder who CAN play on the left Morgan is a left back who CAN play left midfield Barry Wilson is our only natural winger and yet we play 4-4-2 every week

Alarm Bells Yes Or No?
I would say I was lightly uneasy after the weekends result rather than worried. Hopefully we can manage to get a couple of players in before the transfer window closes. The balance of the squad isn't right. We still don't have a natural wide left player ie someone whose preferred position is there (before anyone starts mentioning Morgan, McBain, etc) Plus we have no cover for Wilson on the right either

HEARTS 4 - 1 ICT (final score) (26/08/06)
Reading some of the posts from folk at the match I'm actually a bit more worried than I was before. If you say we played well and still got gubbed 4-1 I'd hate to see us on an off day. I only manged to hear the second half on the radio but it didn't sound like we played very well. Wilson missing that chance to make it 2-2 sounded like the turning point. Winning all those corners didn't do us much good as it seemed like Gordon just grabbed every one of them. I'm really begining to wonder if Rossco is still injured. There was talk of him having injections pre season to try and help the problem. Is he actually trying to play through the pain? Keogh had the same injury and was out for a year. The last few games he really hasn't looked himself and he is bigger than ever.

The next 2 games are vital
3 wins and a draw would be nice out of those games. You would think we'd have a chance of beating Motherwell & Dunfermline and nothing would give me greater pleasure than beating United. I see Robson got sent off again today - will he not miss the game against us now??

HEARTS 4 - 1 ICT (final score) (26/08/06)
Very true but not beating St Mirren is looking even more of a poor result now :007:

The next 2 games are vital
OK after 4 hard games we managed 3 out of 12 points :006: We really have to beat Motherwell & United in the next 2 fixtures - we need some points on the board

HEARTS 4 - 1 ICT (final score) (26/08/06)
Oh dear. Quite a humping today :007: Prognosis on Wyness sounds worrying as well - possible dislocated shoulder

Hearts tactics???
:012: Will you never learn? ICT = 4-4-2

Hearts tactics???
Good opportunity to get 1 or even 3 points tomorrow. Hearts have quite a few players unavailable through injury or suspension :004:

Missing In Action
Good points well made :003: Personally I think a lot of the 'missing' fans who turn up for OF games are Celtic or Rangers fans anyway and just sit in the home end

Ben Thatcher
I remember Di Canio getting banned for 12 games for pushing over a ref well Thatcher should get a 12 month ban for that

Missing In Action
I predict a few thousand will not be seen again till 27th December and even then they will look different :016:

Hearts tactics???
Bayne to replace Wyness but rest same as Sunday 4-4-2 as always Forgot Wilson likely to replace Keogh

ICT v Dumbarton
Absolutely - everyone sees the game differently :003:

ICT v Dumbarton
Caley100 I couldn't agree with you less about Hart :016: He had a dreadful game - if he was playing well would he have been taken off after just an hour? I think not. I don't think we will see him I the side for a while.
-
ICT v Dumbarton
Seriously you thought Hart played well? :010: :010: :010: I'm staggered by that. I was under the impression he threw away his bandage because he knew how badly he had played

ICT v Dumbarton
It may have been a good result but it was a less than impressive performance. The team must like rollickings at half-time as I'm sure they got another one tonight. I'm surprised the dugout didn't explode Parkie was thumping it that hard. We looked pretty good for the first 15-20 minutes and then just stopped playing. Lucky to go in at 1-1. Dumbarton could have and probably should have scored certainly once more. Better after the rollicking at half-time but not much. Bayne got a well deserved goal, he was indeed MOTM and Rory also scored a nice wee goal at the end. Dumbarton aren't a bad wee side or maybe it was our poor play that made them look good. Some good individual performances tonight and some dreadful ones as well. Very low turnout as well just over 1000 folk
