  1. ICT will probably never be relegated?? I wish I had your confidence. Like it or not we are a mid-table team at best and avoiding relegation is our main aim EVERY season. Talk of a top 4 place is simply ridiculous and I admire the fact the club lives and succeeds within a limited budget. You need to a reality check mate :018:
  2. Bit condescending that don't you think? I'm sure both clubs would be more than able to offer a better financial package for the player than we could
  3. Chick has spoken..... Walter Smith and Ally McCoist till the end of the season when McCoist will take over on his own. He also said they have signed Brown & Thomson from Hibs!!! :010:
  4. It was my mistake - I knew it began with 'S' :004:
  5. Didn't last long at Wigan!!!!
  6. Radio Scotland have apparently scheduled an 'emergency' programme tonight to be entirely devoted to paranoid conspiracy theory's and Chick Young going into meltdown about how he can 'exclusively' reveal who the next Rangers manager will be by naming as many people as he can think of in the hopes 1 of them is right :014:
  7. One wonders if the decision to drop King Barry may have been premeditated to ensure a swift exit from his Ibrox ****?? Poor old Sebo - his Rangers days are likely to be numbered now as well :009: :016: What odds on Walter Smith being the next manager :014:
  8. He was rumoured to be going there for a trial - not sure it ever transpired rhough
  9. It's like the summer all over again :015:
  10. Some names to toy with (according to the Highland News) Robert Snodgrass & James McPake - Livingston, Gary Arbuckle & Eddie Malone - Clyde Don Cowie - Ross County Bryan Deasley - Dundee Stephen McConalogue - Partick Thistle Steven Bell & Chris Aitken - Stirling Albion Dean Shiels - Hibs Calum Elliot - Hearts and an unnamed left/right midfielder set for trial
  11. Looks like a large slice of humble pie for me :014: That is if the Highland News is to believed? Cowie apparently odds on to join (as reported by HN last month :016: ) doesn't say if its this month or the summer though Robert Snodgrass and James McPake at Livingston, Clyde pair Gary Arbuckle and Eddie Malone, Dundee's Bryan Deasley & Partick Thistle’s Stephen McConalogue have apparently all been watched 2 Stirling Albion players are also mentioned Steven Bell & Chris Aitken - perhaps a bit of pyschology before the cup tie?? Also an unnamed player who can play wide left or right is to be offered a trial once we have spoken to the club I suppose this will all have to be taken with a pinch of salt as we have seen transfer windows come and go without us netting anyone
  12. He managed to name 4 of our players though - that has to be a Scotsport record :015:
  13. Gow aint all that.. Every time I've watched him I've been disapointed! I also know a lot of Season Ticket holders for Falkirk and they all the same, he has the talent but is a lazy *******, I'd prefer Wyness! Hmmmmm...that must by why all those clubs are trying to sign him then :016:
  14. Have heard David Weatherston @ Queens Park was 1 of the players being watched :024:
  15. Dargo & Wyness without a doubt
  16. That's his suspension served anyway is it not?
  17. Do you not remember the player Sheffield United recommended to us in the summer>? He got cold feet half way up the road 'cos we are so far from 'civilisation' :006: Mind you Ross County have somehow managed to snag a Liverpool reserve on loan which must be somewhat of a coup :crazy04:
  18. kencar

    Denzil

:015: You rate Bayne ahead of Dargo & Wyness!! :017: Fair enough but I think you will be in the minority :004:
  19. Gow might be offski - now there's a player I wish we could afford :006:
  20. Pretty sure he's at Livi and he might be a defender?
  21. Why would we scout Cowie if, like you said, we have already signed him? Elliot plays in the SPL and therefore is not a lower division player (could do a job for us though) Makel is in his 30's and I've no idea who McPake is or what position he plays
  22. Last few games I've noticed Wilson just seems to play where he likes. OK more often than not he's wide right but he frequently moves into the middle and out on the left. This isn't necessarily a problem but usually no one else moves into his position to cover leaving Tokely rather exposed
  23. You can hear the interview if you click on the link in thematch report St Mirren Match Report Not sure what all the fuss is about though All he said was we over achieved during first 11 games and the second 11 games the results were disappointing
  24. CC identifies them as lower league players which would make sense with our limited budget We already know about Buchanan as he's been on trial and surely they wouldn't need to scout Ross County players?!? I don't think we could afford McMenamin from Gretna so I don't have a clue who they might be. Hopefully a couple of pacy wingers and/or a right back
  25. From BBC Website Head coach Charlie Christie is still sure he can tempt three key players to prolong their stay at the club. Mark Brown, Darren Dods and Craig Dargo are out of contract at the end of the season, but Christie insists he has heard nothing of any moves. "There have been no official enquiries although it is early days," he said. "There are four or five players who I now want to sit down and speak to, but I said all along that I wanted to get these four games out of the way first."
