Experienced forward required in January
Alex I am not sure what the correct partnership is up front but whatever it is brew has to decide and give them a chance to gel together

Smee while I am not been critical of your stance just curious as whether you would have taken the same stance if it had been robbo that had came back

Credit where credit's due
Not saying that all our problems are resolved in one fell swoop as I dont believe they are but if we are going to hang brew for some bad performances (ok to many) at least give him some praise for a particulary good one

Hibernian -V- ICT : matchday thread
while delighted with the result there is something telling me that there are a few rollercoasters to get on this season and while not quite sure which way they will go, but here lets enjoy a great 3 points when they come our way

Experienced forward required in January
pleased the lad had a good game but not sure he is the answer to all our problems yet, but hopefully he will be

Fraser Dropped - Courier
totally agree a young keeper that will come back and beat an even better keeper in years to come, Boruc in the celtic eyes is one of their best and still makes mistakes, ike will come back a better keeper

Hibernian -V- ICT : matchday thread
While I dont think everyone has forgotten the Rangers game, and as the saying goes " one swallow doesn't make a summer" it is nice to see they came back from a very bad day and hopefully they can build upon this

A young lad with great potential

whatever anyones thoughts on brew are, dont think anyone can disagree that the team showed great character to come back from last weeks drubbing to get a great result today

Mark Brown
I really don't know though, i'd have to see the wages on offer. Realisticly he couldn't have thought he would pip Boruc to the first team spot and I'd rather grab any chance of getting into the national team with both hands - to me thats the biggest honour any player can have. He'll probobly be on his way soon enough when his contract expires anyway.......so hopefully then he'll challenge for a place in the national squad. Too many move at the first prospect of big money and end up going into oblivion. Mark went to be no.2 and when the american arrives no.3. His future is in the past. I think the american has arrived already

Who should be in goals on Saturday?
Alex you beat me to it Why not? As someone else pointed out, Fraser had an awful game against Killie last season (I was there - watched him manage to throw ball off his own post and then knee it in for an OG within 30 seconds of the game starting, and it didn't get any better), then was dropped for the following game. Malkowski came in for one game against Aberdeen and achieved the well-nigh impossible of being even more howling than Fraser had been the previous week. Fraser came straight back in and was pretty solid for the rest of the season. Now, I'm not saying we should put Esson in and hope he plays badly against Hibs, but the point is, it might do Fraser no harm to be dropped for one game. If Esson performs well, he keeps the position for the next game. If he's pish, we put Fraser back in and hope it's given him a wake-up call. No player is indispensable - what I can't understand this season is why Brewster drops players after they've had good games. Like I said I am not against Ike been dropped to be honest I am a bit torn on this one, what I dont agree with is him taking all the rap for Sat
-
Brewster hits back at officials!
:thumb04: And while your right we cant realistically expect points it is the level of performance that irks people the most, when we lost at home to Celtic it wasnt all doom and gloom as the team performed as well as could be expected. Everyone knows that the management and players got it wrong on Sat, put their hands up and say ok we got it totally wrong

Alex Rae
My nephew played under Cormie at Huntly and says most of the players couldnt stand him

The ICT Catchment Area
While its a very valid point, I think that the club should be doing more to make the matchday experience more enjoyable so we can attract more from Inverness itself, once this is more attractive further afield could be looked at

Who should be in goals on Saturday?
so did most off the team
-
Who should be in goals on Saturday?
Not saying that Esson shouldnt get a start on saturday but what do we do if he drops a clanger, drop him the following week as well Ike is potentially a good keeper I dont think he is quite there yet but as somebody said on a previous thread keepers get better with age, if we are just saying he should be dropped on last weeks performance then the whole off the defence deserves to be dropped. Alex you beat me to it

Barry Wilson
spot on , while I am all for giving the youngsters a crack, when things are not going right I think an old head like Barry put there could be invaluable, of course I havent seen him in training but I think if the club judged he was fit for a 6 months contract they must of thought he would be fit enough to play a part.
