  1. So Mr Pele, you think all is rosy in the garden, thats your choice, I like other dont think it is while I also dont think its all doom and gloom but thats what opinions are for expressing them
  2. What do you mean by that the thread or the last post, I think we can all agree there is a problem at home at the moment
  3. Agreed I really cant understand it
  4. Great 3 points away from home again, why not at home? It has been said that this is down to Brews lack of tactical awareness, yet how can he get the tactics right away? have we just been unlucky at home or have we just been lucky away, I dont think we have been just unlucky away (okay apart from thier penalty miss today) and although I wasnt there today, I am sure those that were will enlighten me it appeared the team fight and spirit was there. is the home form just a mind thing that after one good performance or a bit of luck going our way things will improve, I am not sure. I do think Brew got the tactics wrong at home this season but how can we do well away from home?
  5. Have to persuade the wife once again that the x factor is crap then
  6. Gringo thats a brill punt well done that man
  7. Congradulations Yngwie a great day for you. Great result, great 3 points and sounds like a good team performance and well done to brew for another good away performance, credit where credit is due
  8. I am not going to comment on his motives, but perhaps if the club were to clarify the questions regarding the stadium ownership this could all be put to bed
  9. Yes does seem like a complete waste of a salary, Hastings has been awful the last couple of weeks and he still didnt get a start, cant say I am sorry about that to be honest, but it begs the question why did we even sign him
  10. I wouldnt disagree with much of that but feel Zander might be a better asset at home when we should be more attacking and he would give us some width rather than away
  11. To be honest I havent seen that much of him to comment, Brew has played alongside him so must know what he is like as a player. Like I said in a previous post the club have a habit of turning players who have lost their way a bit around aka Dods and Dargo hopefully if we do sign him this will be the case again
  12. Didnt realise that was the case with Cowie, with regards to Blackies expectations I wonder if the club discussed that with him or went with what was in the papers.
  13. While that might well be the case do you not think it would even have been worthwhile to at least try to get the ball rolling at the start of the season rather than so close to the transfer window
  14. Looks like he might be coming in January, Malky said in the Highland News "Ritchie does have other options but we hope we can bring a player of that quality to Inverness. He did seem to enjoy his time here and we hope he will be joining us"
  15. Scotty agreed that the players may be taking time to think it over, my main concern is why we didnt start the discussions at the start of the season as opposed to now, maybe a perfectly good reason I just think it is a dangerous game game to be playing with our key players
  16. If it was just 1 player you might put it down to the player been difficult to deal with but its not its a few of our key players, with the transfer window opening in a short while not to have them tied up is crazy. I thought I read somewhere that these contracts were been dealt with in the last International break, either that didnt happen or didnt go as well as planned. As Caley D says these contracts negotiations should have happened at the start of the season we are not talking about a couple of players that have to prove themselves, one was the player of the year last year and the other is the player of the season so far. If clubs come in for them at Xmas the club have very little bargaining power

Cant have helped the lad that he hasnt played for a couple of weeks, he will only learn from this experience .
  18. I think that we have a few very good midfielders, the best pairing is dependant on what tactics we are using and players been played in the correct position/side of the park. Against Falkirk recently good players like black and vigurs were made to look ordinary due to the tactics been deployed
  19. No not an Orion employee any more, I havent been for around 6 months. Maybe if you contact him himself you might get some answers, you never know he might even read this board
  20. While I see what you are saying we dont have the luxury of just giving young players experience and confidence in our current position, although I am all for players like Duff starting the younger players can only benefit from playing alongside side someone like Barry

    we had popescu for that
  22. Kingsmills yes I agree Robbo would be a good choice but you have to ask why wasnt he considered the last time when we were not exactly flooded with applicants. Warnock aside
  23. Whatever did or didnt happen the last time or whoever Robbo does or doesnt get on with the fact of the matter is he was ovelooked the last time and the board thought Brew was the best man for the job even with his terrible record at Dundee United. So even if Brew left or was sacked, Robbo, who I dont think even got an interview last time, is unlikely to be considered this time round. I think when Brew does go the club will look to a new name rather than take Robbo back.

Without question the barca style with a wee touch of variation when when we want a change, this years one was to far away from that, it gives us our identity if we stick with a style. While I dont like particulary like their strip I was watching Airdrie yesterday on TV and there is no mistaking their strip been the same style for years
  25. The club lost 3 experience forwards in one go, Bayne, Niculae and Wyness. These have been replaced by 2 strikers without SPL experience, I am not blaming the club for not taking in a experienced striker as I am not sure how easy it is to pick one up, however I do think that they should have at least tired to hang onto one of the 3 that left to assist the young ones. I also think that Brew might have thought, due to his comments in pre season that Rory might have had more of an impact this season. I think this is going to difficult to rectify in the transfer window
