  1. Can you enlighten me as to the positives, where we manage to scramble ONE goal, against a keeper who was there for the taking, against a team who hasnt won in its last 6 SPL games. Oh...and we were at home, starting with one up front. A positive would have been building on Saturdays performance, or at least showing the same appetite for the game Smee I think in the second half they did show some appetite for the game, it was like the players got a lift from the changes, 2 upfront and being positive, There was one time in the first half and they were taking a corner and there wasnt 1 ICT player in the Falkirk half, just not good enough at home. It was apparent to me in the second half that the players are happier when we are having a go at home. However I wonder if we hadnt gone in one down at half time whether the changes would have been made and the same drivel would have carried on in the second half There were two corners at Easter Road when we had all 11 players in the 18 yard box !! If we hadnt scored would the same drivel have carried on ? There's alot more boring drivel in this thread from the Brewster-haters than there was on the pitch tonight. I am not a Brewster hater, however I do think he got his tactics wrong in the first half and sorry but in the first half it was drivel, changes were made and the second half was an improvement.
  2. Yep I would like to be the Falkirk keeper going into face him after the way he played :thumb04:
  3. . The away dressing room should also be painted green because green is supposed to have a subduing effect that takes 15 to 20 minutes to wear of. I learned that on a trip to Riverside stadium Middlesborough that must be a problem for celtic then

  5. Hastings was beyond bad tonight, thought he was a cert to get hooked at half time
  6. First half was terrible, subs made a difference, thought Wilson was excellent when he came on, direct, delivered good balls, in my mind he is worth a start
  7. Can you confirm (for the stats) ..... none of the online sites reported a booking for him (SKY, P&J, BBC, Sportbox, Sporting Life etc) I think it was barrowman that got booked for jumping into the crowd when Rooney scored
  8. 3 points tonight would be a good start and well within our reach if we perform like we did on Sat.

We all base our judgement on what we've seen on the field, which isn't very much really. We dont know what effort is put in on the training field. The workrate and all that. Maybe there's good reason why he doesn't feature. that may well be the case Alex although I hope not as I always though he was one of the younger players with great potential , but like you say we have no idea what goes on in training,
  10. While I agree there has probably been to much doom and gloom, I doubt if there are many on here that would welcome failure
  11. Its the old boy network If thats the reason then it is very worrying, but I find it hard to believe that brew would put himself under more pressure by taking in a player he didnt feel he was good enough just because he is a mate
  12. Probably is but every team seems to want to go the defensive route nowadays Alex I know what you are saying and I see why we have to go down the defensive route against some teams and away from home, but should we not be having a bit of a go at home against the likes of St Midden and Hamilton.
  13. Whether he is rated or not Brew saying he is a player he really likes so think there is a good chance he will be joining us
  14. Well they could start by playing slightly more attractive football at home, make the matchday experience more enjoyable, if not the 3000 home fans we can barely attract will be even lower than that will lead to us not doing better than we are but a lot worse
  15. That sounds promising
  16. Is this not a Pie and Bovril type of argument, I wish to remember those brave men and women that died protecting our country, if others don't thats their choice.

I for one am disappointed as I thought Zander might figure at some stage this season, doesnt look like Brew favours him as he hasnt been used at all, has anyone seen him in reserve games this season and if so how has he played.
  18. Lots of football fans are complete muppets and the internet, phone-ins etc gives them a voice. The fact that a significant proportion of Celtic fans hate Gordon Strachan despite him winning three titles in a row and getting the team further in the Champions League than ever before all on a smaller budget than his predecessor says it all. Can't blame celtic muppets for hating Strachan! I hate the wee ginger whinger too! yes but what but the reason they hate him is not because he is a ginger whinger but because he is not a Celtic minded(whatever that is), all the success he has given them yet he is not liked because of that, crazy
  19. quote from Wikipedia, loved the bit that he even stunned his own fans with a run :018: :thumb04: "His finest hour in an Aberdeen shirt came in the Vicente Calder?n Stadium against Atletico Madrid when he went on a rampaging run down the left-flank right in front of the stunned Dons fans"
  20. agreed what I have seen of him him fairly poor player, but then again nobody thought Dodds would turn into the player he did before he came. Maybe that old ICT magic will rub off on him
  21. Hey caley p you were spot on with your team for last saturday. Your source is obviously reliable so i have no reason to doubt you for wed night. Totally agree with you regarding Vigours . All our best football this season bar the Aberdeen game has been when he is playing. Quite simply he offers us a level of vision and class which we lack when he is out of the team. hey Roby, i haven't actually had a chance to talk to my source regarding wed night, however, my own opinion is it should be the same team with either cowie or imirie playing a little further forward supporting wood up front. soon as i hear something solid then i'll be on here to let loose. your feelings are right it will be the same team and formation
  22. Reckon it will be the same team and formation as sat

I've only lived in Hull 5-years and I seriously can't stand the place! Not made my mind up on Brew yet. Not seen any live action so I can't really comment. But i'll give him a few games :thumb04: I used to visit a place close to Hull years ago to visit friends, Berverley I think it was called, thought it was a nice wee place
  24. ESSON PROCTOR DUFF MUNRO HASTINGS COWIE BLACK DUNCAN VIGURS IMRIE ROONEY
