RANGERS -V- ICT : matchday thread
Just seen the highlights on BBC, beyond belief how bad we were in that first half, in fact I cant remember seeing a SPL side defend quite as badly as that.

On the supporters bus yesterday, we done a poll. "If Brewster was to go - who would be your choice as his replacement?" The winner was ......... Barry Wilson! Barry would be a big gamble, I think we need somebody with experience at this stage, while I sure Barry will be a candidate in the future I dont think it would be fair on him throwning him in at this stage

Yes I thought it was a strange one particulary as Duff has been doing well, I also think that it doesnt send out a great message to the younger players, no matter how well you play you will be dropped when the more senior players are fit.

To be fair to him I think he was thrown in a bit at the deep end after been out for so long

Team fer Easter Road ?
You must know something we dont :thumb04:

A man finished
thats why I am not convinced he will walk
-
Alex Rae
I have a very funny feeling Brew is not going to walk and I cant see the board pushing him yet either, of course I could be well of the mark but this is the feeling I have

A man finished
Ralph I hope you are right, but can you honestly say you are not concerned that there is something seriously wrong
-
A man finished
Ralph he may have 20 years experience in pro football but how many of them have been as a successful manager, good players dont automatically make great coaches
-
What is wrong?
For obvious reasons I think that would be very difficult for any off them to do that,

Help. Defenders needed.
I doubt even Alex Ferguson could get an adequate performance out of our defense right now. Talking about Alex Ferguson I was reading an article about him talking about what a huge surprise Hull have been this season, he said "it shows what can be done when the management mix is right"
-
What is wrong?
feel that is a bit harsh, remember our financial situation if we got rid of all the ones you feel are not up to spl standard how could we replace them with better, ICT have excelled with these type of players before and if the team spirit and belief is there they can excel again

I think Robbo with CC number 2 might just be a good combination

POLL: Time to bin Brew?
Alex sounds very like that while you have tried to remain positive the last few weeks from what you saw in the first half today you now also believe we could be have serious problems
-
Alex Rae
Alex I am not saying he wasnt just that I think CC would have gone sooner rather than later anyway, CC takes it very personally when ICT lose and I think that was having a big effect, I think he would be an excellent number 2

You forgot to take your pills today Ross? I would welcome Charlie back. He done well till Savage threw Niculae on him. While I also thought CC did a good job, remember that he was going to resign the season before, I dont think CC likes the pressure of management

what about John Collins

POLL: Time to bin Brew?
Why do you want to change it for him to stay now :thumb04:

POLL: Time to bin Brew?
I have not called for his head from day one, but I do know when enough is enough. I would love you to give some examples from day one and beyond. I will not say I have always been supportive of him, but certainly not anti-brew from day one. If you believe I have, please substantiate your claims with examples ..... or can your guide dog not work the keyboard. **** off you Canadian ****. why the need for rudeness just as someone, well in fact most of the people dont agree with you

POLL: Time to bin Brew?

The reporter comes to the pub with us on matchdays and is well respected (fan first, reporter second): http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/sto...ry/WBsoccerblog Read it Scotty def not your year in a footballing sense

RANGERS -V- ICT : matchday thread
To be really honest, I do not care. It has been suggested that he lost the dressing room a while back, well he finally lost this fan today and I do not pay attention to the opinions of those who fall into that category. Scotty I think he will lost a few that were still undecided up until today, by all reports the team were all over the place in the first half and I think it was probably more a case of Rangers taking their foot of the gas rather than any improvement in the second half.

Team for Gers
you are having a laugh
-
Team for Gers
My fear is teams that sit back to much at Ipox seem to get taken apart and with Hastings and Tokley not playing at their best could be a long afternoon, I think it may be better to have a go at them which they will no be expecting

Experienced forward required in January
Personally I would try to offload Rory at Xmas, forget putting him out on loan better to get him off the payroll, as for Woods I am not convinced he has it either but probably worth putting him out on loan as its clear that he is not ready for the SPL yet, and although on loan last year it probably wasnt long enough. I think both Rooney and Barrowman may well come good but we desperately need an experienced forward to come in and help these two. Who we can attract I have no idea but surely a club with SPL status must have a good enough scouting system to find one.
