ICT -V- Kilmarnock
Completely dominated the game and thoroughly deserved to win, but.......TB insists on these late defensive substitutions and we always seem to suffer. As TB said in interview, 7 times we've dropped points late in games. I think we'll have made the same type of substitutions in all of these 7 games! Never made, a good performance overall - just need to find our shooting boots and kick on in the remaining games.

smoke bomb
I could easily chose to hate your childish and pathetic attempt at English grammar, but as it is of no great importance or consequence, and caused no harm (much like the smoke bomb), I will instead forget all about it and continue happily with my life. I suggest you try and do likewise. Difference is, the "poor" grammar can cause no real harm - unlike the smoke bomb.

smoke bomb
CJT can represent me on this. The behaviour of the fans reflects and impacts on the club, and also impacts on how we are stewarded at games home and away. The use of smoke bombs in this environment is an offence and, as it affects all fans and the club, I am surprised that more aren't condeming it.

Butcher to Barnsley? Terry stays put***
I would say that the opposite of "the positive message would have been stronger still if he had said "no" a little sooner" is true. The fact that, having acted in a measured, logical, considered, courteous and respectful manner - with what must undoubtedly have been a significant offer - he chose to stay with ICT. Had he dismissed their interest without discussing their possible offer with them, the rejection wouldn't have carried the same weight and significance that it does now.

Arsenal Trialist - Philip Roberts
Extract from Arsenal's website:- A powerful centre forward, Philip impressed in his role as a lone striker in the Under-18s last season and finished as the team’s top goalscorer with nine goals. His consistent displays for Steve Bould’s youngsters earned him a call-up to the reserves, where he plundered his first goal against Wolves in February 2012. A Republic of Ireland youth international, Philip joined Arsenal from Norwich in summer 2010 after impressing Liam Brady and his team while on trial at London Colney. Obviously not yet the finished article, but these credentials at least show some promise!!

Dear Mr Cameron,
- Gary Warren ?
Sorry DD but that's not what posters have said. It hasn't been a case of "don't get too excited" but definitely more "he's not good enough". Oddquine has very eloquently pointed this out and I'm certainly in her camp regarding giving these players a chance. Nobody's seen this guy play, but several posters claim he's not good enough - on what basis? OK he's a late starter, but that might just mean no-one's noticed him as he's not been in the shop window. Isn't that the same as the Hull striker Steve Bull, who hit the headlines with a late starting career - and then went on to play for England! I'm with Oddquine. Give the new guys a chance, don't write them off before you've seen them play, and don't p*ss them off by writing negative drivel that they might read before they've played (or even signed). Positivity can breed success, but negativity will certainly breed failure.- New faces on the way.....
- Fans End of Season Evening
A big thank you to all involved in organising this event - the supporters club, supporters trust, club, players, etc. A great evening for those that were able to attend. Was lucky enough to get my son onto the first session for the kick around with the players, and then myself, wife and son in to the second session in the kingsmills suite for the presentations, etc. Great access to the players, management, etc. and good to get the short Q&A session with Terry, Ritchie & Johnny as well. Unfortunately, Hayes' contract was off limits, but a great event. Really helps to get the club connecting with the fan base - particularly the kids (as they are the future of the club) - and this event was brilliant at achieving that. Let's hope there's more like it in the future.- Grant Munro
Vigurs is pretty much a main stay in county's side as well. Will be interesting to see how their team fairs against the physicality and other challenges of spl football.- Dunfermline -V- ICT
- Hogg out for season?
Couldn't agree more. I think I've learnt more about Christ Hogg - the man, than I've known about Christ Hogg - the player, from those first three entries in his blog. I hope he can gain as much solace, comfort and strength from writing the blog as possible to help him through this. Respect is due, and unreservedly given.- Tansey Appeal
He doesn't look to see where the ball is and leads with his arm . DC what are you on about ? this is your gawd knows how manyeth post justifying the sending off, and you are still wrong. Of course you are going to look and see where your opponent is before you jump to challenge him for a header - there's no point in challenging otherwise. You can even check again if you have time. If you can see where the ball has been passed from (or in this case lumped up the park from) as a professional you should be able to judge the flight of it, and where you/ opponent and ball intersect. Tansey did. As for your "interpretation" of the laws of the game, they are just that - laws. There is no interpretation. Law 12 (fouls & misconduct) lays them out perfectly well. The referee can only send Tansey off for either "serious foul play" or "violent conduct" There is no such offence as "leading with the arm" I can see no evidence of either of these offences in the highlights. He could only caution Tansey for "unsporting behaviour" which again there is no evidence of. He could have awarded a direct free kick for any number of described offences, including "jumps at an opponent" in a manner that the referee considers "careless, reckless or using excessive force" That is the offence that you have described, and that is the proper outcome according to the Laws of the Game. As my dad would say "gie's peace", but I won't hold my breath for you having the good grace to change your mind. When have I said there was an offence of leading with the arm ? Violent conduct pure and simple . DC - you must be on a wind up here!! "violence - behaviour involving physical force intended to hurt" What part of Tansey's conduct manifested itself in this way?- Tansey Appeal
Not sure what you mean. The paper refers to TB being "entitled to feel cheated after......Tansey's harsh red card" and that Tansey's was "right to feel aggrieved". Also says the greasy Greek "didn't cover himself in glory by laying down for treatment when none was required".- International breaks
Had the same thought myself but given ICT's defensive frailties this season it would make justifying Ryan's inclusion more difficult (even though we all know that it's not really down to him).- ICT -V- Kilmarnock : Matchday Thread
That's exactly what happened.- Lennon Attack
Not a fan of NL, but it would be a travesty if that assault was the catalyst for his departure from Celtic & Scottish football. That said, I wouldn't miss him. - Gary Warren ?
