YOUTH OVERKILL
When i go to the home games and try to goto as many away games as possible, spending all of my money as i go, i don't want to see "ok" performances. He didn't play and we should have won today. "you play your best team" alan hansen Our best team wasn't out there (barring injuries).

i love the youth, but today wasn't the day to test them out. glad to hear you are a loyal fan though.

YOUTH OVERKILL
Not saying that all three don't have an exciting future in football, but today they didn't impress me. I would like to see zander getting a game instead of vigurs. I seriously didn't see much from him and he faded away until he was subbed.

Vigurs also didn't track back, was lazy and played several poor balls. Strikers didn't finish? Who had the best chances of the lot? Wood i think......

YOUTH OVERKILL
You play you're best players, and vigurs doesn't have the right attitude yet. Sort that out and he will be a good player. Wood looks strong but Barrowman was our 'big signing' and it seems silly to leave him on the bench. Duff wasn't as impressive a usual. All players need criticism, they had better get used to it.

Billy Dodds Prediction Watch

YOUTH OVERKILL
I could have cut the st mirren defence apart. Vigurs was about as sharp as a blunt butter knife in midfield. None of them let us down, but we were lacking something.

YOUTH OVERKILL
After todays disappointing match against st miren, i think brew made a big mistake in the starting lineup. Playing Duff, Vigurs and Wood was a bad mistake. I know that all three have talent, but in an important and tight game we can't afford to test our youngsters. All three didn't play well IMO, duff was shaky, vigurs was poor and wood passed up good opportunities. For these games that we need to take points in, we have to play our best players, and that means Munro in, Imrie in and Barrowman in. I know that i have previously said it was a goodish performance, but with three inexperienced youngsters playing we lacked grit and just plain good old determination. Several times vigurs didn't track back and that left us exposed at the back. Many times wood got the ball stuck under his feet and couldn't see a pass. Duff was second best to everything that was a contest between him and hamilton. "you dont win anything with kids" Is that right or what? Brewster, play your best side and save the youngster for when we are clear at the top of the table.

ICT V St Mirren : Matchday Thread
I thought we played reasonably well but just didn't get the rub of the green. The one thing that is worrying me is when i look at our fixtures, i can see us not getting a single point from the next 7 games that include celtic, motherwell, hearts and dun utd. Disappointed with roscoe, think he really hasn't started so far this eason (aside falkirk and patches aginst the dons). Vigurs was pish as well, no idea why brew startd him. I know he's trying to incorporate youth into the team, but with duff, vigurs and wood we lacked just a bit of bite rather than if we had munro, imrie and barrowman. Bring on the jambos.

Dennis Wyness
"I take it tokely is victorious is joking?" quote from Stirling Observer Yeah i was joking, but only about the gentle applause. Didn't need to fret, denzil was never going to get a second on the pitch.

Marius Scores on Debut...
Looking at rooney i realised what a waste of money he truly was. We're 1000000000 times better off without him.
-
Dennis Wyness
Denzil won't be playing, and dargo will be as terible as usual. We have nothing to worry about. If wyness does come on, some gentle clapping and some even bigger cheering when roscoe sprints 50 yards to split him in half. Chants of dig a hole diga hole and then some gentle applause when being loaded into the ambulance.

Marius Scores on Debut...
Marius is sh*t. Thats all i have to say.

George Burley
Ive always thought a player like cowie or black or possibly dougie imrie should at least play for the b squad. They have quality and would show passion for the shirt, but i doubt this will ever happen, the bottom six would never even be considered for possible players.

Team for St. Mirren
Roscoe to score winning goal against the saints a la dunfermline (deflected off 3 players before trundling over the line).

Some things never change....
If there isn't 3 points in the bag against iceland then we can wave goodbye to any hopes we might have. Bring Back Berti No, seriously, at least berti hads the right idea. Burley has a great squad at his disposal and has managed to make us look amateur again.

Some things never change....
call up roscoe and all his problems will be solved

August - Player of the Month
I love Blacks new attitude. I never understand how he is still with us, he is clearly a very talented midfielder.
-
Some things never change....
hahahaha serves him right. Although i heard he has scored 2 in 3 for dinamo. He can play when he wants to. Back to Scotland, i fear that this game and subsequent failed qualification attempt will drag the scottish game back into the mire. A lot of national pride hangs on the next few games. At least Khan got a battering.

Some things never change....
The thing is we've seen it too many times before and we know the signs when we see them, and yesterday was a glaring warning to the entire squad. I'd be more than delighted for Scotland to turn it around and qualify but i can't see it. The last round of qualification games were the best for 10 years but it was based on the feel good factor around the scottish game and the belief plus momentum after beating France. I don't think putting on a decent second half showing against macedonia will spur on the boys to anything great this time.

Some things never change....
Macedonia 0-1 Scotland Game over. No chance of qualifying on that show. Burley is all talk and no walk. Even if we do pick up a point or 3 away to Iceland, with duds like Broadfoot and Maloney in the team, what chance do we stand??? None whatsoever. For me Burley has gone back to the "pick an old firm player if theres no-one else" tactic and its failed miserably. A pathetic showing and then he has the audacity to come out after and praise the performance? Is he off his head?? We lost all momentum in the friendly games, and everyone lost their confidence. Not helped by injuries and the heat but if we are to live up to the tags of upstarts Macedonia are the type of teams we need to beat. Still, can't wait for the next game, good to have something to moan about now caley are the new footballing side of the spl.

Smell the hat!
sorry, ex-celt (shows how much i care) murdo macleod. Seems to have a liking for us.

Smell the hat!
The only pundits i can listen talk about us, without it descending into patronising the entire team, are waddel and that ginger ex-ger on bbc radio. Makes me sick every time i see a report and i know it is nothing like what happened during the game. Although it makes me glad that I support ICT and not an over-hyped glory-hunting ridiculously sh*t central belt team. How hard can it really be to win the spl with literally 100 times the budget of all the other teams??
