  1. To spend near ?60 travelling down to falkirk, ?21 just for the privelige of watching that sh*te for 90 minutes and coming away actually embarassed to be at an ICT game, is a complete joke. An apology is needed, a spineless performance that made the worst team in scotland look like brazil.
  2. Thanks for your feedback everyone. To set the record straight, Ali who is our resident matchday PA announcer was away this weekend and Jud stepped in to help. Ali will be back as normal from our next home game v St Mirren on the 4th April. hallelujah. the pa's job is one of the most important on matchday, he's usually the one who gets the atmosphere going after a goal.
  3. Should be the most nerve-wracking game of the season, hopefully a win to celebrate at the end. Anyone any idea how many fans to expect? Plus, any idea of ticket prices??
  4. Absolutely sh@te pa announcer on saturday. The best bit about a goal is being able to cheer it after the announcer reads it out, and he was so quiet i didn't even know who had scored the first goal! Then he played that dreadful bagpipes sh*t when it was only the subs, played it again when killie came out and finally got it right when the caley players come out. Bring back the other guy!!!
  5. I'll take a performance like that any day of the week if it keeps us in the spl.
  6. Not a glittering second half performance but without doubt the biggest three points of the season so far (until next week). The players really dug out a win, which is what we will need to do until we are mathematically safe. Pavels was an absolute rock in central defence and deserved his man of the match, and i think his family or friends were in the main stand judging from his reaction when coming onto the pitch. Esson was fantastic at dealing with Kyle, almmost man-marking him near the end. Up front, rooney put in a good shift and butch will find it hard to drop him next week. Foran is an absolute legend, putting himself on the line in every match, and scoring vital goals. I think he could be an important player from now until the end of the season, plus he seems to have warmed to the club already. All in all, a superb three points, and everyone at the match couldn't care less about the 2nd half performance when the final whistle went, especially that dream team of el tel and mo.
  7. The cup game will only give the ict players anoter reason to goto falkirk and be confident of a win as well as having a reason to go and win, that reason being that we have been cheated out of the two cups by a diving and cheating falkirk team. They could be decent once they get back arfield and higdon, but they are still going to be missing darren barr for the league game who is possibly a bigger player for them than those two. Yogi has managed to fool the spl into thinking of his falkirk team as 'free-flowing' and 'easy on the eye' but now he has been found out and so have his team.
  8. An embarassing mistake from duncan, don't do it again or we'll get a reputation like hearts (cheats). Possibly did it in the heat of the moment and showing too much will to win in the wrong way, trying to get another pro sent off. Then again, i seem to remmber an incident where pressly went down in their own box as we had a great chance, the ref stopped play and lo and behold he was alright. It happened twice, the second time he looked to be dead on the pitch, imrie said something to him he didn't like and before you could say 'get up you diving w*nker' he was up on his feet trying to thump doug. Miracle.
  9. No chance, he is committed to the cause but hearts are his boyhood team. Plus his father played for them and he seems to want to follow in his footsteps.
  10. Initial disappointment at going out of a cup i thought we had a fairly good chance of doing something in this year, further disappointment that we were beaten by a bunch of cheating, low-skilled and very poor falkirk team who, on the basis of today, we will beat easily in the league. Overall a fantastic performance in the second half. If we had maybe taken either kerrs or duncans chance then we would have gone onto win, especially with forans chance at the end. In a way it is good that the team who put us out was falkirk as this game masks the problems they have at the club, and gets the fans off their backs for a few weeks. Its clear to see that they rely far too much on very poor players, like elvis (i would 100% have mihadjuks instead of him, diving cheating w*ker that he is) for example. We controlled the game with ten men, and the only shot they had on target was a penalty. The ref gets a special mention as the worst in the history of mankind. Simply strange decisions, bad decisions and downright awful decisions prevented the game from being a classic. Every 50-50 went to falkirk. We could and maybe should have had a couple of penalties as well as booking two falkirk players who should have been sent off. Had we had a proper referee then things could have been different. Still, one more game for those bunch of no-hopers is exactly what they don't need, i look forward to seeing them floundering in the first division, with elvis down there with them. Overall, bring on the killie game, then the falkirk game. On the basis of todays game, 6 points and 7 away from those cheats.
  11. On another day we would have won the game, it was just a combination of poor mistakes and poor finishing, as well as shocking refeereing. The linesman was pathetic and we should have had a goal and a penalty, but there is no excuse for our defending and motherwells finishing. Apart from their two goals, and a couple of half-chances in the first half, motherwell didn't really do much. That said they scored one more goal than us and thats all they need to do. Felt disappointed with a few of the performances from our more experienced players who were playing their hearts out last week. Especially lionel and russel and ian black. No-one could be faulted for effort, but the same team as the hibs game would have seen us win the game. On a positive note, we are creating chances, which a relegated club does not do. The only way to forget about his match is to look forward to the cup.
  12. How long does dougie have to run on his contract? I don't want another cowie/black/brown/dargo/wyness situation trying to guess whether he'll stay or go. Reckon he should be player of the month but he'll never get it, these awards are so biased sometimes its unbelievable. Please not butch for MoM, although he deserves it i don't want the curse to strike us. on the subject of curse, perhaps someone should iform the sportsound team that not only was the matchday programme curse broken by proctor, he also scored.
  13. Same again butcher. If it aint broke don't fix it.
  14. nah hibs fans ere pish. Granted they didn't have much to shout about, but there were only around 300 of them there.
  15. Motherwell will be tougher than hibs, but we'll win this one 2-1, and thats us off the bottom. :thumb04:
  16. i didn't hear the song, for once the bisset section was creating a bit of an atmosphere.
  17. No song unfortunately but good celebrations from the players, especially dougie running to the north stand and apparently taking full credit for richies goal!
  18. Excellent performance from ICT, a shockingly bad one from Hibs, but that shouldn't deflect anything away from a very important win. Falkirk will be feeling the heat, and with more homes games on the way we are going to start climbing the league. By the way, 10 points from the top six. Always ambitious. No-one could fault dougie today, the man is absolute class. He not only performs his heart out every game, he appreciates the fans and showed the hibs players up with his effort and tenacity. Fantastic to see we can manage without black and duncan in midfield as well. Special mention for big lionel though. He was a man possessed today, and even beat half the hibs team at one point near the end. No doubt he will take huge confidence from being MOM, long live djebo-zadi!!!
  19. gk - esson lb - dzebi-zadi rb - proctor cb - mihadjuks cb - munro lm - foran rm - tokely cm - kerr cm - mcbain fc - imrie fc - odhiambo With that line-up i am confident of all 3 points against the hibees.
  20. Lionel has clearly been told a thing or two by butcher. Now when he has the ball he resists from trying to nutmeg anyone and simply clears the ball up front for dougie to chase, which is turning out to be a very successful method. Hate to say it but roscoe has to improve in staying put, the commentators were mentioning his unreliability a lot yesterday, perhaps it would make more sense shifting proctor to right-back and roscoe to midfield?
  21. The game against killie is big, i have a sneaky feeling we could drag them down to our murky level, if they continue their bad run and lengthy injuries to first-team players. time to lower the ticket prices.
  22. Falkirk and st mirren drawing was the perfect result for us, neither has pulled away and we have acertain three points next week at home to the hibees.
  23. no problem now, just sold it on ebay, as long as this isn't another feckin scammer then this is SOLD.
  24. An excellent point that i would have taken before the game. This game was massively important in keeping the unbeaten run going, and keeping everyone focussed on survival. The players seem to have responded to this and from what i have heard played well and manager to hold on for a point when it looked very likely utd (who are without a doubt the 3rd best team in scotland) would go on to win it. Looking at the after-match footage the players and big tel looked delighted with a point, was there a big support?? I hope the woodwork fans climb out for the hibs game, time to hype this one up hugely to tempt them off their armchairs. Delighted with Eric Odhiambo, good to see him get a goal especially against utd. One final word: duncan is an absolute hero who is working his socks off and playing with his heart on his sleeve. In my opinion one of the best players we have at the club who should get more praise. He reads the game and intercepts excellently. Right now, he has really started showing how much he wants us to stay up, along with dougie. Anyone who thinks we should punt a long-serving player such as Duncan is off their heads.
  25. I don't have the receipt but i do have the Sony gaurantee.
