A fitting tribute from Robbie Williamson...........................
I'm really looking forward to seeing the wee man in action next season, a player that seems to have the ability to turn a game around and someone that we need right now.

Portugal To Win It?
From what I saw, POrtugal came close on about 4 occasions in the second half alone. However ill be waiting to see how the other big guns perform before placing my bets. Heard yesterday that from the way the tournament is structured, that Germany won't meet Italy, France, Holland etc until the final, as they play in groups c + d while the germans are playing in group b. :024: :024:

Portugal To Win It?
After seeing Portugal comfortably dispatch of Turkey, who are no mugs, I am thinking of changing my prediction of Spain winning Euro 08. Portugal hit the woodwork 3 times and looked very slick. I suspect that there will be a fair few bets on them tommorrow, and I might join them. Portugal and Romania are very alike, both one-man shows (ronaldo and ......marius of course). With France notoriously slow starters and Italy missing a couple of key players this could be anyones tournament, but I am now fancying Portugal to sneak it. However i am open to persuasion...

Is Marius our Larson
Not sure it would have much impact on proceedings, but you could set it up at thepetitionsite.com I would sign it, and i know of many others who would as well. :022:

Our First Signing Failure
I get the feeling that we will need to grow accustom to the headline 'caley signing failure' or 'brewster target snapped up'. PLayers from england will never move up here, most honestly believe that Inverness is the back and beyond and that we don't have tv. Brew will have to use all his contacts possible to get a few quality players this summer. But then again we have cowie, munro, fraser and (so far) niculae. We could only have use for a couple of backups.

Is Marius our Larson
Marius is a genius, has shown glimpses of a real class act this season and should stay. By all accounts he enjoys it in the highlands and we should strive to keep one of our best players for what looks like a very difficult season ahead. BUT the ict board will probably shove him out the door as fast as they can if he does perform at the euros. How about a petition for Marius to stay?? :clapping03: :clapping03:

2008-09: Final SPL Table
my guess would be: 1st - rangers 2nd - celtic 3rd - hibs 4th - dundee utd 5th - motherwell 6th - aberdeen 7th - falkirk 8th - inverness ct 9th - hearts 10th - st mirren 11th - kilmarnock 12th - hamilton

New mascot
Other clubs mascots are great, like dundee's, but ours definitely look as if they were designed by 2 yr olds, which they were, and never stick around for the match. wonder how much one gets paid for that job??
-
New mascot
From the disappearence of Icat and the hilariously tepid response from fans to Nessie, i have taken it upon myself to design our new mascot : his name would be the caley jaggie, being a huge hypodermic needle that sprays alchohol from its tip to get the home fans in a frenzy welcoming him. :crazy07: :crazy07: :crazy07: :crazy07: any other ideas :symbol_question:

Cowie staying?
don't mean to sound stupid, bit where was don born?
-
Achievement
am i the only one who thinks last seaosn wasn't that bad, and the bad recent run has just soured the end-of-season feeling for most fans. Obviously there were points to heed and improve on but all in all the team produced some performances to be proud of.
-
Cowie staying?
Cowie has been a great signing and has proved himself at the highest level of football in scotland. Can only be a matter of time before someone else comes in with an offer too good to refuse. ps my thanks to graham linton or whoever i was for including me in the couriers 'fan mail' bit, proudest moment of my literary career. :004: :024:
-
Achievement
Other teams improving meant we were always going to struggle to reach the top six. Next season could be worse if brewster doesn't start signing up players the likes of st mirren, falkirk and aberdeen have. We've surprised people before though.

Season ticket prices
anyone know the deadline before they go on general release??
-
Trust for Brew
and your a experienced spl manager are you???? maybe not but i've seen it happen too many times this season, we are not playing well and being pushed back for the last 10-15 minutes or so, then brewster waits until we actually go behind to make a change, and by this time we have no chance of hitting back.
-
Trust for Brew
One thing i would encourage bewster to start is to recognise the way a game swings, and make a substitution earlier when its needed, not once we've gone behind.
-
Trust for Brew
Imries been superb last couple of games, brewster doesn't deserve the negative comments from some of the 'fans' on here.
-
Trust for Brew
dargo :clapping03: :blah01: re-signing proctor as well :021:
-
Trust for Brew
i voted for 'complete trust' as i think we will always go on runs that will haul us up the table every so often. Brewster has developed a good habit of picking up a good quality player every now and then, hope he can do it again in the summer.
-
don cowie players player of the year
hes got a great goal return, all good goals as well. Destined for the big time, hope we can hang onto him for a couple more seasons.

ICT -V- St Mirren : matchday thread
Thought brew could have substituted denzil and niculae a little later than he did, last games and all.
