  1. My thoughts exactly, still can't believe he has gone. A real character who will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know him.
  2. And he did buy you a drink in the caley club too, so all round good guy!
  3. No no no.......there are ICT fans discussing a possible pre-season ICT fans get together to limber up the swallowing mechanism's and vocal chords in preparedness for a new ICT season.. When you put it like that count me in!!!!!!
  4. Im quite sure the supporters club will continue to run a bus, just because Cath is not running it any more does not mean there will be no bus. There is an AGM coming up soon and that will all be decided then and hopefully new people will come forward to take rsponsibility for the busses. Im not quite sure the actual date of the AGM but im sure someone on here will have the date and can post it.
  5. Was good to see Granty and Esson in the caley club on Saturday night with the cup so we all got to hold the cup!!! Would have posted this yesterday but I seem to have missed sunday all together!
  6. How old are you Caley100? How did you get over the perimiter fence? They opened the gate for all the oldies at the end!!!!!!!
  7. Yep, I can see me and my daughter and old caley girl. Great photo.
  8. ]Miss ICT I know how you feel regarding bad omens. I have been having an awful week. Everything has been going wrong. Have mislaid some important documents and despite turning the house upside down have not found them. Then my son lost 10-2 whilst playing football last night. However, things can only get better right. A good win tomorrow will make everything ok. Regarding the ticket Im sure as already mentioned the club will sort it out. If you feel the need to ward off bad luck, before the game eat a raw onion, 1 kilo of prunes and suck on garlic cloves at the match, this should ward off anything. It will also ward off any fans from sitting in the same section and adjacent sections to you. Well im certainly not going to share a caravan with her in Ayr if she has those sorts of plans!!!!!!!!!
  9. Me plus Old Caley Girl plus 4 kids! Weekend in a caravan in Ayr, bring it on!
  10. I find it really sad that the supporters bus seems to get such a bad press on the website. Its the olny means of transport for some people to be able to get to the games. There is not only the older support but quite a lot of younger people too. I used the bus for the first time this season and really enjoyed the whole experience. Yes we did stop in Perth but we also got to Dumfries in plenty of time and managed a few drinks in a pub just outside the town centre. Im sorry to hear that Cath is giving up this season and I just hope that somebody will take over becuase it would be sad to have no supporters bus going to the games.
  11. No its not closer to Newton on Ayr, its probably a few minutes further away, you would have to just about pass the black bull to get to The Ship Inn.
  12. Its on north harbour steet, just down river from the pub you were in the last time, The Black Bull. About 5 minutes walk.
  13. Adults ?15 Concessions (OAPS, students and carers) ?6 Children 16 years and under ?3
  14. Me and my daughter on the supporters bus. Looking forward to it.
  15. Thanks CaleyD, was a great trip down to Greenock.
  16. Have missed your smileys. Good summing up and great to see you again. Less of the "old" faces though, we are just all slightly more mature!!!!!!!! But like the idea of a retro party.
  17. Not the best of games but 2 good goals and a couple of great saves from Esson sealed the win. Good to see such a great turn out for a Tuesday night game in Greenock. That idiot of a steward in the second half spoilt a pretty good day out but all credit to big T fan and his lemon sherbets!!!!!! Also a big thanks to CaleyD who at short notice organised a bus for us to get to the game.
  18. Im going too now. Can't wait.
  19. Couldn't agree more with that, the atmoshere was amazing, everyone behind the team, and as for the players and Terry at the final whistle, that was brilliant. Thought Rosco was going to jump the hordings and join us at one point. Got to give credit to the Partick keeper though, he really saved their skins in the first half with some cracking saves, as 1-0 did not really reflect how well we played especially in the first half.
  20. Anything to avoid a ?4 bus fare!!!!!!
  21. me plus old caley girl and family. Can't wait.
  22. Good to see Kenny Cameron back on the board of directors again. He was a good asset to the board the last time and made a huge difference in the communication between board and fans. Also saw him in the away end on Saturday. Lets hope this is the start of better communication. Good luck Kenny.
  23. A particularly good age to be especially if you went to the high school! Im also 39 going on 40 but most people say i've never actually grown up, long may that last. I did go to the High School...1982-86. Were you in my year? Yep, I went to the High 1982-1988.
  24. That wouldn't complicate anything at all as it would just be a sale and lease back, the Ness Bridge Club lease would just carry on as normal.
