  1. You are quite right that 2 weeks is the minimum notice required, unfortunately it has taken quite a while to sort out all the administrative issues brought up at the AGM. This is why the EGM could not be called sooner. All the issues have been sorted out and hopefully at the AGM happens more people will put themselves forward and normal service can be resumed. Unfortunately there is no chair or vice chair at present making running CJT quite difficult. So getting a new board in place is very important.
  2. Well I definitely see the Gellions bus as allies and not rivals. They will be a differently run bus and in my eyes different is good. Life is made up of all types of people and with just one bus going to the away games run by CJT they were trying to be all things to all people and it didn't work. Now people have a choice CJT or the gellions. Hopefully that will encourage the people who didn't like travelling on the CJT bus to go on the gellions bus. Maybe eventually other pubs in Inverness will be able to run busses to away games too, the more the better. I for one would be quite happy to travel on either of them.
  3. Hope there is a decent turn out and plenty of people have put themselves forward.
  4. Is too late to become a member of cjt and then stand for election to the board?
  5. Maybe that's what was meant but unfortunately that is not how it reads!!!
  6. unfortunately that was not what was said in the message sent by John from CJT! Maybe that's where the misunderstanding is coming from and needs to be clarified by CJT.
  7. I don't agree with what CJT have done on this occasion but, to say the people of CJT are not real football supporters is really not fair, many of them travel to most of the games and put a lot of time into running busses.
  8. CJT do a great and much underappreciated job organising busses and I do respect anyone who does organise busses as its a thankless task but, to not allow travel to Motherwell to the boys on bus 3 I find really unfair. From what I saw on that day there was 2 sides to this story. Yes the boys on the bus 3 did not do themselves any favours but it was a disaster waiting to happen to put all the youngsters on one bus and to expect them to behave, they are teenage boys after all. Im not excusing what they did but a warning might have been better and try to work with them. We need these youngsters to come to the games they are the future.
  9. Well that's good to know that the busses have stopped going into Perth bus station, this was the norm for quite a long time and one of the reasons I was reluctant to go on the bus, the busses regularly got caught up in traffic going into the centre of Perth and then would arrive at the ground very close to kick off time. It used to do the same going back up the road, it would stop at the bus station for half an hour so people could get chips.
  10. Im pretty much the same view as Gringo. I prefer the train mainly as it makes it more of a whole day out. I would be more likely to travel on the bus if there was a small stop at Broxden and get to the ground earlier. I used to travel regularly on the bus and really did not like the extra time spend going into the centre of Perth. I like the social side of the football and enjoy meeting up with people before the game. This is not always possible when travelling on the supporters bus. If the bus is mainly running at a loss, is there any chance of getting sponsorship from local businesses to part fund the bus
  11. Exactly what Fraz said and it was a pleasure to be part of it. Just to get an idea of the monumental effort this was to achieve, it took 30 man hour to put the stickers on alone!!!!!! The squad of helpers at Hampden was amazing all working together to make the display as good as possible (and yes it was stressful especially the letters!!!) It was a huge team effort and I could not have been prouder when I saw the results. There were tears before the match even started lol.
  12. Thank you at one point i thought it was never going to work but once i had seen the photos at half time i can honestly say i am so proud of it Dawson, I cant believe you didn't have faith in our letters!!!!!!!!
  13. too late, the team left Inverness this afternoon!!!!
  14. once Collum has been mugged of all his cards they will be put on each seat hopefully making an impressive displace for the team to run out to, well that's the plan!!!!!
  15. What size of display? The card display is about 9000 cards
  16. Me, im one of the mad folk on old caley girls mini bus!
  17. me with old caley girl
  18. Worked lots of Caley, selling programmes, did the gates, helped out in the tea room, even helped Tommy with the ground sometimes especially during school holidays when the sprinklers needed moved and he was at work!!!!! You name it I helped out.
  19. Seriously thinking about not renewing this year. Mainly becuase I cant justify the cost when this season I missed several games mainly due to midweek fixtures and as I dont live in Inverness its not always possible to finish work and get up to Ness. I will still support the club but choose games more selectivly and just pay at the gate.
  20. I remember it well, was at the game and I also remember after the game lennon arguing with our support when confronting about his cheating ways!!!

  22. Daisy did go to county in the summer of 98, I can remember daisy breaking the news to me on a flight coming back from france 98!!!! He waited till we were on our way back before telling me so he wouldnt get a hard time the whole tournament.
  23. Daisy was something else, all legs on the park, could never be described as a graceful player but always put 100% in. Thats what made him a fans favourite. Off the park too he was great fun, met him way before he signed for caley at Scotland away games with his kinlochbervie friends but the less said about that the better!!!!!!!!!
