  1. A particularly good age to be especially if you went to the high school! Im also 39 going on 40 but most people say i've never actually grown up, long may that last.
  2. Great day out yesterday if you blank the first half out! Raith were poor but these are the games we still need to win so a good result and also a fantastic support. This season is starting to have a feel of the last season we were in the 1st division. Starting to put a good run together let hope it continues. Big thanks to Rooney for signing the program at the train station for my daughter (even though it wasn't for her!) and an ever bigger thanks to the child minding facilities on the train home!!!! Looking forward to more days like yesterday.
  3. Thats not really true about the ski slopes, if fact the road to the cairngorm is closed right now as they try to make it safe. This happens on a regular basis despite the Cairngorm Mountain having their own ploughs working the raod to make it safe. As for the game being called off for safety reasons I quite agree. Although its up to people to decide whether to travel in these conditions there are always people who think they can drive in these conditions only to be proven that they can't. Its then the police who have to deal with the results.
  4. Great news about the tickets, ?15 for adults and under 16s in free with a paying adult. Tickets go on sale next Monday. Heres hoping we will get a good crowd.
  5. Reading the communication between mike smith and harry chibber it seems to be one of the problems is the close proximity of the family agrea to section G. For lots of us in the family area that is a bonus but for others, especially those with younger children its a major downside. When we moved back to the stadium, the family section was in the main stand, and that worked well for some families. Just maybe it migt be an idea for the club to make an area in the main stand available again for a family section. The problem as I see it is the main stand is just too expensive for most families so families who don't like the banter in the north stand are forced to be there becuase of financial constraints. This solution should keep everyone happy and maybe reduce the number of complaints concerning bad language etc.
  6. 2 complaints out of a crowd of 5846 and the banter at County games changes forever!!!!!!!
  7. I think the saddest thing about all this is the fact that it wasn't the county fans that complained and started all this it was our own fans
  8. If the trust already knew there was an issue why was that not communicated to the fans either on this website or the trusts? What was said by the club at that meeting and what is the trusts take on the subsequest goings on at the Partick game. Is there a follow up meeting arranged prior to the county game and if so will this be communicated to the fans?
  9. The club are in a difficult situation on this one as, they have received official compaints following the last county game for some of the chants. This means the club are being investigated and could be facing a large fine. Im not saying that anyone at the club think the G word is racist but somebody in the SFA does so whats the club meant to do, ignore it and be fined or do something and avoid the fine? Its a rediculous situation for the club to be in especially over chants that have been going on forever. But, on top of the Gypsie racist claim there has been other claims of racist behaviour towards Lionel by our supporters! The whole situation is stupid but thats just the way it seems to be these days.
  10. I was told by a Partick Fan that all under 16's got in for free.... I would like to go to this game aswell but money is still a problem with me... Its only free for SFL matches the prices for cup games are the ?10 and ?5
  11. I was told that Barry has a clause in his contact that he could come back to ICT with no fee if ICT wanted him back. This was put in mainly for the coaching side which Barry is very keep to pursue up north.
  12. Im going down with my daughter on the train (left it too late to get a seat on the supporters bus).
  13. I tried to get on the bus yesterday bus couldn't but thats nobodys fault but my own for leaving it so late. Will just get the train down instead. When I spoke to Cath there was only 3 people on the waiting list, with the two seats I was looking for that would make 5, so not really worth while putting on another bus. Im quite sure if a few more people had been on the waiting list Cath would have made the decision to put on an extra bus like last week. It is a hard call for the supporters club, they never like turning people away but its got to be financially viable to run an extra bus.
  14. Got to be Elgin away, can see a good crowd for that one. Lots of us oldies with memories of a mis-spent youth!!!!!
  15. I really can't see what exactly the board are meant to have been communicating right now other than what has already been communicated. Until they can see what income they are likely to receive through season ticket sales (which they have communicated very well with) and renewal of corporate sonsorship (which they have written to all of last years sponsors to encourange renewal), there really is little up to this stage the board could communicate. Members of the board have been working hard to get new income streams into the club and now after todays board meeting they should be in a better position to see what direction the club can take regarding new signings etc. Would people rather they go out spending money they don't have and be in a position where the club folds due to excesive debt or wait till they can establsh a realisitic budget. I am quite sure all will become clear next week.
  16. The board are meeting today so I would expect there to be much more info from the club early next week.
  17. Look at the official site and all your questions are answered regarding contracts!
  18. Have voted with my feet, very rarely go to the home games since last season when I gave up my season ticket. As have a lot of people when you see the crowd figures these days but the club still don't seem to care!
  19. These are the standard prices for the old firm coming to Inverness. There does not seem to be any deal like Aberdeen. Also the price increase is for main stand too so the arguament of only increasing for the "same type" of seating as away fans doesn't stand up neither. Another money making scheme by our lovely board disguised as part of the 5% issue. As if its not expensive enought to take the family to the football!
  20. How can the club justify these prices, adding ?4 on to every ticket seems excesive particularly for the kids. Thats a 60% increase for kids in the family section from "normal" prices. Is this the way that the club are re-couping the 5% surcharge by screwing their own supporters!
  21. Coia bus was set up mainly to go to games in Aberdeen, wouldn't work for games in Inverness as the majority of people who travelled on it have family etc in Inverness so tend to go up for the weekend and not day trip. Pity really cause those days were great fun and did generate a brilliant atmosphere whereever it went.
