I think this sums up exactly what the club thinks about the fans and their issues. If Gordy is only a name on a bit of paper for a tick box exercise and not an actual active SLO we really are never going to get any sort of fan engagement.

I am a long time season ticket holder who also goes to a lot of away games but have decided that this season im just not renewing my season ticket. Ive renewed year after year, even though with not living in Inverness I tend to only be able to make games on a Saturday. So, with with missing Friday/Midweek games, it usually costs me more for my season ticket than if I just did pay as I go. With the season tickets going up by 10% and the feeling of being totally unappreciated by the club as a fan, I'm going to save a few pounds and just pay for the games I can get to. So I will carry on supporting the players on the pitch but refuse to be taken for granted by the powers that be who only communicate when they want us to renew season tickets. If this makes me any less of a supporter then so be it! .

As far as I can see, the renewal date was in 2022 for Inverness Caledonian Thistle but was not renewed so has been removed from the trade mark register. But, as you say, Caledonian Thistle does not look like it was ever registered!

Looks like the club have not renewed the trademark on the name Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC or the trademark of the badge for some reason!

What a shame the prices are so high. I get the same pricing structure for both games as gates are split but I had thought some common sense might have prevailed and let our game charge less to get a larger crowd! The old firm will sell out regardless of the pricing so cant see how ours being cheaper would really affect them!

wow, I've never seen the customer charter before. What a total fail. Responding to any contact from a supporter within seven days!!!! And the commination section is just a joke!

The way I see it, are the players not already unsettled? Everybody kind of knows that Billy will not have his contract renewed at the end of the season. Its like watching somebody work out their notice period. Do you get the best out of a person during that time? Then in turn, does Billy get the best out of the players we have knowing that he will not be there come the end of the season. Id be much happier to see Billy go now, get a new manager in, steady the ship and start looking as sorting out contracts for next season.

Its hard to know where to start having read through the accounts! Ok we all know that football clubs have a hard time to balance the books, but these seem to go beyond that. Personally, I do think Scot Gardiner, if in not wholly responsible for this mess, then a good part responsible. Last years accounts were signed off with the promise of funding coming via the concerts, this was spearheaded by SG and we all know the mess we ended up in thanks to that. Not only did it not make any money for the club but the damage it did to the reputation of the club with the local businesses will take a long time to heal. SG was brought in to the club to basically manage the non-football side of the business and although the club were making losses prior to his arrival, was that not the whole point of investing in a CEO to reverse these losses? Now this years pie in the sky to get the accounts signed off is Red John and a battery farm. But there does not seem to be any time frames for when or even if these ventures will ever show any income for the football club. Yesterday when the accounts went into the public domain, it would have been good if the club had issued a statement to explain things, reassure the fans, explain a bit more about all these things that are supposed to be happening to keep the club trading. The silence from the club is just as worrying than the actual accounts.

The sad thing is thats so very true, but they will be in for a shock. I've never spoken to so many season ticket holders that are just totally fed up. Planning to give up on their season ticket at the end of the season. There has never been such a disconnect between the club and fans. When going to a home game is becoming a chore and the board seem to be oblivious to it all its time to consider doing something else on a Saturday!!!

I find that very strange that the young team felt they were not welcome in the North stand. I sit about half way up section e, a lot of the young team sat in the front few rows of section e right in front of me. Never seen any issues with them being there or saw any issues out with stewards clamping down on them now and again. That wasnt to do with the other supporters around then though! But, if that's how some of them feel then fair enough, go the the west stand. Its actually not a bad place to be watching the game, its where I used to stand back in the day before we got promotion and had to build the North stand seating. As its self funding and not being funded by the club I hope they manage to get the roof but it will take a massive effort from S94 and looking at the crowds that have been in the west stand the last few games and the difficulty there was to get 8 people to shake buckets yesterday I think its a pipe dream that's never going to happen.

pre livi: 1 post livi - 3 Went into the livi game expecting us to get totally thrashed. Obviously delighted with the performance but, we are back to league duties on Saturday and ive seen too many dire games this season so expecting the cup bubble to burst and back to normal against Hamilton. Hope im o be wrong and this is the start of a great end of season run but im not holding my breath for that!

I am finding it hard to separate the football club with the problems with the concert company. I get why a separate company was set up to protect the football club but, is the football club not relying on profits from the concerts to keep it solvent? The accounts that were signed off in May 22 for the football club says under going concern that the company can meet its liabilities for the coming 12 months with projections reliant on new income streams, in particular from contracted entertainment events. I can only assume that this relates to the concerts???? If this is the case we could be in deep financial trouble.

Doesn't look like tabloid bullshit unfortunately, the letter sent to all creditors asking them to accept the CVA and accept a dividend of 65% of what is owned to them was published in the Courier. What is confusing is that the directors are blaming the production company for going over budget. Did the club not organise everything themselves to maximise profits for the football club? So they are the production company????? Whatever way you look at it, its a disaster for the clubs reputation with the local community. How can you get local businesses to support the club when several will be out of pocket after the concerts.

Like Fraz I too have been on the trust board and was chair for a while a few years ago. It can be a thankless job with people quick to criticise but not so quick to help improve things! The Trust has been stagnant for a few years now due to many things including lack of active members and not having a great relationship with the club. Covid didn't help neither! I really welcome the statement from the football club now showing a willingness to work with the trust and I hope that our supporters will get on board and join the trust to make it a strong voice for the fans. At the end of the day with around a 12% shareholding the trust should have a much stronger voice within the club. The only one concern that I do have is that the current football club directors and CEO have a better understanding of what a trust can do and how it can benefit the football club and not expect the trust to be a cash cow for the football clubs running costs. There is a lot of work to do and this is only the start of re launching the supporters trust. So get behind them, join the trust and have a voice to make things better. And finally yes I'm also born and bread Invernessian too (not that this should really matter).

I didn't sponsor last season neither, but have done so in the past. Does seem like its just turning into a bit of a donation to the club. It seems odd especially when you look at the names of the sponsors, the vast majority are individual supporters and not companies. To do a sponsors night and a wee thank you in recognition would not cost the club much but means a lot to the fans who have used their hard eared cash to sponsor a player. As for hospitality, its such a shame that its become very expensive and not as inclusive for the day to day fans. As somebody who would do at least a couple of hospitalities a season, usually more, just feel that the bread and butter fans are not really the clubs target audience any more.

a permanent memorial would be a great thing for the club to do. It would pull together to bricks outside and the tiles in the tunnel

As section E has been a designated area for a very long time for signing, id find it strange that there would be an issue with season ticket holders to have the young team back in the front rows. And yes, my season ticket is in section E

Totally shocked by the news, a true ICT fan who was there from the start. Many happy memories with Bronson in the "old days", cant believe he's gone. My heart goes out to his family and in particular his lovely dad. RIP Bronson

When my kids were little back in the first division first time round the club did family hospitality a couple of times a season. All the players were involved after the game. At one there was a giant chocolate fountain and my kids still go on about that day. My youngest won a signed ball, every table had one to win, and it’s still pride of place in my living room. Stuff like this should be done again. It was always a sell out.

To be honest im really confused over the foundation. It was launched at the 25th anniverary ball the other week and all the funds raised (over 27k from the auction alone) was in aid of the foundation. But there seems very little detail anywhere on what exactly this foundation is about or as you say the governance around it.
