I had a funny feeling we would get a thumping win today. Well done to big Tel for sticking 3 up front as it seemed to pay off. I reiterate what everyone else has said in which i hope we can carry this performance up here next week against Morton.

I would go back to 2000 and relive all the way up to the end of 2007-08 season. One game i would relive would be beating Celtic 3-2. The team we had that day was brilliant and then Brew went and started to disect it by getting rid of the likes of Rankin and soon after plenty more followed which very much ripped the soul and backbone out of this team.

Apart from one tackle he did very little to convince me he is worthy of a place in the squad. He just seems too slow for the scottish game.

The problem i think is that this club has always had a little spark about it. We were special and we were noticed for punching above our weight on big occasions. Unfortunately after a calamity of arguments, bad feeling and dismal pitch displays the club has suffered its first real failure in the footballing world...relegation. We lost our spark and with that alot of people lost their enthusiasm and perhaps some lost their passion as well. There is still alot of hurt and bad vibe from the fallouts i think and i don't know if i'm alone here but you can even feel it sometimes within the ground on Saturdays i think.

Charlie Christie was after him when Dargo left but i think Hibs and teams down south were in for him at the time so it was a no brainer. I remember when the poor guy was refused his new work permit. I think he has shown the comittee they were wrong.

Is Eric fit for this one? Couldbe interesting if he is, would defo have him on the bench. He played an hour of that bounce game so he may well feature next week.

I wish i could take the not losing positive from the game but unfortunately i'am struggling. Some of the football on display today was absolute drivvel at times and yet again the away side were stronger. Apart from Foran, Cox and sometimes Hayes we really didn't offer much and Imrie struggled to really get into the game. Good goal from Proc and wonderful save from Fleming to deny him at the end. Tel, why the **** did you take of Foran?? Our best attacking threat and you take him off for Rooney who yet again missed a one on one. Can't wait for Russeldinho to return as Stratford contributed very little today and hope the injury to Hayes isn't serious.

Black said himself he was probably Marius best friend over here so there couldn't have been that many problems in terms of dressing room unrest. Given what last season was like we probably could have used him for another year.

...and they've all seen what we're about. Start briskly against them at home, score first, get on bus with points in the bag. Easier said than done, i can't remember the last time we took the lead and won at home.

Ryan Esson. No doubt about it. He will not be with us next season.

One thing that obviously needs made clear to you, when Marius joined ICT he didn't award the contact to himself the club gave it to him Nothing needs to be made clear to me thanks. I'm well aware of how it works. But whatever way it looks it leaves us oweing a player money we don't have. Marius is due his cash, no argument there. But this should have all been settled 18 months ago when we sold him and not now when we barely have 2 pennys to rub together.

i think the 11 starts refers to his loan spell at Hamilton while he was with us. I don't know how many appearences he made but i'm pritty sure he got something like 7 or 8 goals before he got crocked.

It is something that i think needs to be addressed in January. We need a natrual right winger. Although courtesy of Count Niculae we will probably have to offload a few.

One thing i'll say for Butcher is he's a lot more responsive to the demands we make on this forum than Brewster was. First Lionel, then Stratford and now Eagle have been dropped in the immediate aftermath of threads starting to demanding their removal. Now Terry, could you do something about the directors and the stewards? Either that or he has realised that some of his players are below standard. It is good that he isn't afraid to make changes though.

John Rankin was a youth at Man Utd. Daniel Stratford was on Fulham's books as well. :huh:

I wonder what the future holds for big Bulvitis as he only has 2 months left on his current contract.

It's not like he has sponged enough cash of us already. How petty this is.
