There is not doubt there was potential in him but there was also potential in other players i.e Vigurs, Zander, who if anything were better than Dale. Expect to see Jamie Duff go in January.

Sanchez has great potential but he needs to toughen up and others need to get involved in play with the strikers.

Last i saw him play was in a County game vs Berwick when they were in the 2nd division just over a year ago. He played well that day but i think he was a regular in the side at the time, alot has changed since then.

I think if we got the penalty and scored then we would have got the point but there is no point dwellling on it. Although yes it was a stone-waller.

You must have a sh*t memory... The one that stands out in my mind was against st mirren when he passed straight to andy dorman who was at the 6 yards ox for a simple tap in. We won 2.1 eventually As much as I have criticised him on this thread, that was not his fault, the ball was booted towards him and bounced off his shin, into the path of the anticipating Dorman. Best thing to do is forget about this game and look to the next. It was a terrible day for all involved (apart from the tinkers) but the best thing to, especially for the new boys is accept it, learn from it and move on.

Totally agree. Not Duncan's biggest fan but his experience would have made a big difference yesterday, as would McBain. Butcher has said before he is not afraid to make changes...i think that pair should be put into the starting 11 for the trip to Firhill.

Once Barrowman is fit and Odhiambo is nearly back then i wouldn't be suprised if Rooney is farmed out on loan.

Everyone was poor today but Lionel was poorest by a country mile. I really don't know what was running through his head at times...keepy-ups at the edge of his own box??? Grow up Lionel.

Don't forget Phil McGuire. He was one of our highest earners and with a year left on his deal before he was payed off. Money well spent there. :(

It was quite shocking how poor we were indeed, it is a game we need to get out of our systems now or these sort of performances are going to haunt us for the rest of the season.

I would say he has been ok up until today. He had a good range of passing and decent set pieces but today he just lacked anything...but then again so did everyone.
