If our history has taught us anything it's that Polish goalkeepers and French defenders are usually rather excentric in a way. But they may just be hidden gems...you never know. Will be watching pre-season with great intrest.

Would be a decent fee to recieve for a player who is so inconsistent. But given the current issues with Setanta that fee may put teams of wanting him.

I find it hard to judge them as there are far too many wee teams in there group. We will only know what there really like when they play Croatia.

Well now you mention it both. Man U are losing there best player and they do have money from it but Ronaldo is a very hard act to follow. Real Madrid are signing 2 of the world greats in a week while Barcelona admit they have a limited budget this summer. Certainly going to be competitive.

St Johnstone offered him a 2 year deal according to the Express. If thats the only offer he has had then we may keep him. Don't think there'd be much difference in wages at least.

Clach, Elgin, probably Keith as well. I expect us to play a few small teams like that but we may get an english team as well.

Dinning didn't even stay in the Football league after his trial with us. He had to drop down into the conference to find football. I seriously doubt its him. Blackpool have just released a bunch of players and one or two of them are at the peak of their careers so it may be one of them.

Would hope we will get 2,500 for most games. I would settle for that, especially with the way season tickets are going.

Given how he finished as manager of Motherwell i seriously doubt Maurice Malpas will go back there at all. And lets not forget he did want the Inverness job as well when Brewster was fired. But between the two i would take Robbo in a heart beat.

If he does go which i hope he dosen't then i expect either Maurice Malpas or John Robertson to get the job here.

Were is Scott McLean now?? He was at Stranraer 3 seasons ago the last i saw. Does anyone remember David Graham? We took him on loan a few years ago from one of the lower english teams and i think he only played twice.

It was 35k. I remember reading it on BBC. He was the cheap and last ditch option after we got priced out of Graham Dorrans.
