  1. I don't think many of us expected to be 4th halfway through the season. Where did you think we would be at this stage? The form we've had so far has been nothing short of amazing, long may it continue.
  2. Playstation for me.
  3. It will be sad to see it end but i think its great to enjoy while we are on such a superb run.
  4. Dundee Utd was the best. The goals, the overall play, was truely perfect. Have to say i enjoyed us winning at Pittodrie as well, when Munro scored the winner that night i have never seen such a roar from an away crowd.
  5. Thats the most anxious wait to an end i have had all season.
  6. Sounds like we were up against towards the end of the half, still it is great to hear we are holding our own. Looking forward to the 2nd half.
  7. Still early days yet...
  8. Radio says Munro.
  9. Well selected team, good to see Ross go back into the starting line up. C',mon Caley!!!
  10. Takes a real man to admit when he's wrong and Callum Murray was unbelivably wrong.
  11. Good to see Sheerin taking managment in his stride and good to see Robbo getting back into the game.
  12. The Courier gave also a confident opinion that Adam was looking more likely to remain here.

Well Johnboy pipped to my main question. I was also wondering what he's been doing for the last 6 months since he left Dunfermline, surely can't have been easy going that long without work.
  14. Relieved that we don't have to pay, think the clubs lawyers deserve some credit for the job they have done as turning over a Fifa decision would not have been easy, congratulations to the club on this outcome, now time to do something constructive with the money we had saved to pay him.
  15. Foran for me. You can play him anywhere on the park and he will do a job, he is fiercely loyal and tells it like it is on the pitch. He can be a bit rash at times but i don't think he would be the same player he is without it. He's also helped bring the best out in other players in the team.
  16. A great match, we bossed the first half and took the game to Rangers, Hayes strike was one of the best goals we will see in a while. Odi's snapshot just before half time couldve been better. We defended well against Rangers in the 2nd half, Miller's goal was a great strike as well but he should have been closed down earlier, Naismith and Miller also spurned great chances to take the lead. Pen was soft imo and radio confirmed it was a dive from Beattie, who was rubbish when he came on anyway but Esson did well. Overall we played very well, looked dangerous going forward and fairly tight defensively. My only complaint is Duncan and Cox were rather woeful with posession at times today, gave the ball away too easily on too many occasions.
  17. Really enjoyed that article.
  18. Aberdeen's squad is rubbish. There are certainly some decent players there but looking at it in terms of a squad it's about as poor as it has been in recent years. Ok poor choice of words, was in a rush when i posted this earlier. There are players such as Vernon, Maguire, Aluko, McArdle etc who havent played well under McGhee. But if anyone is going to get the best out of them Craig Brown will, their backline is in need of serious work, they have so many players playing out of position there.
  19. Intially i was suprised but not really anymore, Brown said himself that he faced the prospect of losing a few key players at Motherwell and it looked like he had taken them as far as they could go. He is the type of manager that Aberdeen need just now, he will inherit a decent squad and the challenge of getting them up the table will appeal to someone like Brown. Good luck to him, he will need it.
  20. I could see us nabbing 3 points from Tynecastle. St Mirren is very much a must win, i agree.
  21. You couldn't make this stuff up.
  22. Happy birthday Don
  23. Pardew, sacked by West Ham, relegated and sacked by Charlton and most recently sacked by Southampton, pure genius Ashley
  24. May not have to look as far as England though it would be a good prospect, at present we are one of the best sides in the SPL and the likes of Dundee Utd, Hearts etc have got big squads with players who aren't getting a game that would probably benefit from a run of games for us and that would be good enough to aid us in our push for top 6/Europe.
  25. Very harsh imo, he guided them straight back to the premier league at a canter and they have had a decent start to the season. Newcastle just never seem to learn.
