  1. Keane's contract expires at the end of the season so unless things decline dramatically i think he will be there till then at least. I think it is one of few jobs i think Butcher would mull over accepting but stats show he is a better manager in Scotland.
  2. If Alexander is getting added then we should add Darren Huckerby to that list as well.
  3. I think ourselves and Hibs were intrested in Jason Scotland after his 2 seasons at St Johnstone but he headed off to play for Swansea.
  4. Was he ever tempted to move away from the club at any point during his time here? Whats his best moment as a Caley Thistle player?
  5. The man is in pole position to bring a top 6 finish and potentially European football to the club, he has firmly established his own set of players into the side who are doing a terrific job, he loves it here, we love him, he loves us etc. Why an earth would he drag himself over to the hill of horse dung to start all over again? I dont think he was even mentioned in the odds on the radio today.

    Mark Wright

I say we put him one on one in the ring with Ross Tokely.
  7. Terry has more sense than to go to Aberdeen. He would have no money, a miserable fan base and unrealistic expectations. Tbh i think Aberdeen are need of being relegated, as much as it hurt me to see us go down it was the kick up the backside we needed to get our act together and i think the Dons are in need of similar treatment. John Hughes to get the job imo.
  8. I remember Alan Kernaghan being very intrested in the job when John Robertson left in 2004, not sure if anything official every emerged from it.
  9. I'm raising the question because he was only meant to be out for a few weeks and has been missing for nearly 3 months now. Butcher said he wasnt far for fitness and that was weeks ago, he just seems to have been forgotten about. Shinnie has been excellent since he stepped in but i would like us to get a full squad back soon.
  10. Quite a sight really! West Ham are doing what barca did last night, it trully is unbelievable.
  11. Dont think they were TBH . http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/i/inverness_ct/7842208.stm
  12. Ooooh, now that would be a worthwhile topic.
  13. Archie Knox and Chris Sutton were both interviewed for the job when TB got it. Agreed with Scotty, TB is the perfect man for ICT just now.
  14. I think Brewster wanted to bring Craig Conway here before he went to Dundee Utd.
  15. Vito Mannone was offered to us by Arsenal on loan when Mark Brown was sold in 2007. we didnt get him cause we couldn't assure him of a 1st team game. Brewster also tryed to sign Jamie Langfield during his 1st spell in charge. Charlie Christie tryed to sign John Stewart from Aberdeen and Tam McManus on a free on deadline day 2006...and ended up signing Gary McSwegan. Also i seem to recall us going after Robert Snodgrass 2 summers ago at some point.
  16. What was quite sound to hear was that i think 9 of Barca's starting 11 were players that came through there own academy, the way the ripped Madrid apart last night was simply breathtaking.

    Rossco

I believe Rosscoe has the option of a further year tied into his contract.
  18. Another thing that i think has to be taken into consideration is that Rooney has struck a very strong understanding with Foran and Hayes, you watch them on the field of play and the way the read each others game, it's really something to watch. The Hibs game was a prime example of that. They all set up each other for all the goals. I think if Rooney went somewhere else he would struggle to create such a strong bond with team mates.
  19. I take great pride in supporting my team and today is one of the reasons why. There is a spirit and backbone in this ICT side that i havent really seen from another, we just seem to never know when we are beat.
  20. Duncan played last Saturday alongside Coxy. Tbh im not too bothered about McCann. We are better at the defence with Duff at right back, i think McCann is better as cover.
  21. Really looking forward to tonight, should be a great laugh and will be wonderful to see some of the clubs greats grace the pitch again.
  22. Will be there plus 5 or so.
  23. Rooney, Foran and Hayes, the best attack in the SPL. Rooney took his goals brilliantly, Hayes playmaking was majestic and was great for Foran to get off the mark for the season. Despite the 2 poor goals we conceded i thought we contained the likes of Nish, Riordan and Rankin very well. Thought everyone was great today, paticuarly Nick and Shinnie, their best games so far imo. A much needed home win and with a few home games coming up after the parkhead fixture will do great for the players confidence.
  24. Agreed, he is used to working with next to nothing in terms of money and he will inherit a good squad and Andy Barrowman.
