Agreed with the poster above. Imrie gave as good as he got in terms of abuse, and at the end of the day he is the one who is meant to be the pro

Esson McCann, Innes, Munro, Gillet Duncan, Cox Hayes, Odhiambo, Ross Rooney Subs: Tuffey, Proctor, McBain, Morrison, Sanchez, Sutherland, Shinnie Going with Innes because Hamilton have that big striker Thomas up front and i just think Innes and Munro would be better suited to dealing with him.

According to todays courier we are in talks with 1 or 2 players over potential loan moves due to Gil and Foran being out.

I made my point clear on the ex players topic. I will not boo Dougie tomorrow. He was a grafter, he made a contribution to our season last year and during his time scored arguably the greatest free kick ever from an ICT player. Probably would still be here had we been title contenders sooner.
  5. I wouldn't be suprised if he ends up at Peterhead with the rest of our ex stalwarts in the wilderness.
  6. Billy Reid seems to have a habit of bringing in players and then ditching them after a couple of games. They signed Izzy Iriekpen and Rubiales last year and they both left after about 2 weeks.

I doubt we will have anyone else arriving this window. I would say a couple of midfielders one winger, one centre midfielder but not that bothered if we don't get anyone.

Leisurely performance tonight. 3rd goal was superb, great turn by Odi and then he threaded through to Rooney and skinned a defender before placing into the far corner. Gavin Morrison played well when he came on and Nick never stopped working all game, good showing for the youngsters. Looking forward to Saturday.

Forgive me, what was i thinking. He goes straight on the hate list
  10. Well i for one was looking forward to the Jonny vs Bobby show, well dissapointed. Havent seen Martin Bavidge play since i was about 10 so thats ashame as well. Looking forward to seeing Denzil though.

In the case of Dennis Wyness he will get a warm welcome from me when he returns tonight. As would be the case with the likes of say Wilson, Black, Rankin, Imrie etc. The only player i would ever boo if he was playing at TCS is Barry Robson. I remember when he played here and scored a few years ago he took to winding up our crowd and jeering at us. After that i never had any real respect for him.
  12. Tbh i was thinking the same thing as well. Hamilton were our bogey team last time in the top flight and i expect a backlash from them. I'm actually quite nervous about Saturday.
  13. I've never seen such positive praise from an SPL manager about us before. Though it is well deserved.

Coventry want him because Aidy Boothroyd managed him at Watford when he was at the best of his career. According to his wiki profile he has had several seperate convictions during his career spanning over 10 years. I say the FA and clubs should inflict the highest possible punishment on these players based on their behaviour of the field as well. At the end of the day these guys are meant to be role models to young players and fans alike. I've listened to King getting interviewed since he came out and he seems to show no remoarse for what he did which i think is dreadul. Wayne Rooney could probably go out and commit murder tomorrow and after serving his sentence (probably a reduced one) could get back out and play football again for a top team. Thats how bad it is.

Jonny Hayes next team will be Celtic, i'am convinced. We get Richie back and we try to get Gil onto a good game then i think we will be a real forced to be reckoned with by any team. We seem to be picking up were we left off at the end of last season. Picking apart teams with a terrific attacking display.
  16. Tuffey McCann, Innes, Munro, Golabek Cox, Duncan Hayes, Odhiambo, Shinnie Sutherland Subs: Esson, Proctor, McBain, Sanchez, Rooney Shinnie and Sutherland could do well in this fixture. Selected Hayes cos he needs as much gametime as he can to get fit and Innes needs a match under his belt as well.
  17. Great result and by the sounds of it very deserved. Dundee Utd will claim tiredness but you know what, boo hoo. Well done to the boys for keeping another clean sheet on the road again. Once we get Foran, Gil, Rosscoe etc back we will be a real force to be reckoned with. Next week should be good.
  18. I agree with Chibber. After what Ridsdale did to Leeds United i'm suprised he ever made a way back into football. I saw John Boyle on Sky Sports yesterday, clearly furious at the case of the unpayed fee for Paul Quinn, given they had just signed Bellamy and another trio of loan players and he was in every right to have a go at Cardiff. If there is a written agreement for payments at a date they should be made. End of.
  19. As it says on the tin. Gil tore his calf muscle on Saturday and is out for 4 to 5 weeks. Think we defnitely need to get someone in before the window shuts wit Foran out as well.
  20. I agree with folks. Gil is probably best suited to playing in the hole behind the striker. I think the fact that we are sticking Hayes back in when he is only half fit emphasises the fact we probably need another wide player before the window shuts. Foran's out for a month, Gil is now injured, so we could do with someone else. He has been impressive but i just don't see Nick as a regular player just yet. More often than not he was bullied of the ball or crowded out to quickly. I think he will be better suited to playing as a super sub. However if Gil isn't fit i would use him next week.
  21. We had our little honeymoon period in the 1st 20 minutes in which we were excellent but Celtic were deserved winners today with a 1-0 score which flattered us. Could have been 3 or 4 easily. Coutos for Esson, Rosscoe and Gillet, best players of the day for me. Nick Ross did as well as he could but he struggled to get into the game. I hope Gil isn't too seriously injured. With Foran already out for a month the last thing we need is another injury. We look pritty frail going forward imo. Too much route one football today which was never going to work. Still think we could use 2 more midfielders. We didn't really have any options on the bench today. Overall can't have too much to complain about but there is plenty for big Tel to cotend with in the coming weeks.

Big day for Blummanshtein tomorrow. I look forward to seeing him in action. In terms of cover i wouldn't mind seeing someone come in on loan. I like Nick Ross but i think having a slightly older player who is a natrual wide player wouldn't be bad. Once Foran comes back i hope there is space for him and Gil in the same team.

Very nice guy and was a player of great potential with a sweet left peg but just never managed to stay fit, very sad to see him drop out of professional football but wish him all the best for the future
  24. Turned out to be quite the match. Jonny looked good in his runout and took both his goals really well. Also had a major hand in Shinnie's goal. Shane Sutherland continues to impress, every long ball that came towards him he won and his goal was also well taken shooting on the turn. Max Johnson had a mixed bag, can't catch and is indecisive but made a couple of really good saves. All in all good practice for the youngsters and it was great to see Jonny play again.
