  1. oh yes! The unbeaten run continues, the 100% record for Rangers is over and we leave Ibrox's bunch in a gloomy mood.
  2. I've just climbed back off the roof after going ecstatic. Come on Caley!!!
  3. Sounds like were doing okay at retaining the ball, just need to try and string together some attacks.
  4. I would like to sympathise but its funnier if i don't
  5. Good luck to Robbo.
  6. Just got home. Went to Liverpool vs Blackburn on the Sunday. Killie was an awesome away day. We had a good bunch down and the atmosphere was excellent. Killie had all the posession, looked quicker and had chances but we were tough defensively, even Eric was doing his bit in defence. On viewing the highlights i would say the ref got both penalty calls right. Yet again the youngsters played a pivotal part and i think the more they do the harder it will get for the likes of Cox and Gillet to get back into the side.
  7. He was given a good run of games the season that Dargo and Wyness were both injured, i think it was 2007. He did not impress, it must have been a run of about 10 games. That had made up my mind about him after that. Even when we sent him out on loan to Peterhead he didn't impress and they cut his loan early i think. He was in need of a fresh start and he grabbed it with both hands at Brechin, well done to him. He will either get promoted with Brechin or earn himself a better move elsewhere. It will be intresting to see if he carries on his form in Division 1.
  8. He's only 20 and he is one of the brightest talents around in Scotland imo. Holloway has a history of developing players careers e.g Adam, DJ Campbell, Matt Gilks etc. I think it would be a good move for him. Blackpool have to stick withing their means financially i guess.
  9. Is he a supporter of Dundee or Killie?
  10. He should be running world football, Holloway is a legend.

    Legends Team

Davide Xausa, purely becuase he was one of my first favourite players. But seriously it would be nice to see the likes Mann, Wilson, Wyness, Keogh etc. I always enjoy testimonials.
  12. not really .... the OP has posed a simple question based on stuff posted elsewhere on the forum and invited comments. It is heartening to see that most of us disagree that the bubble has burst and think all three will continue to improve as the season goes on. For me, our season is shaping up well. A couple of disappointments (thats football !!!) but after 8 games we are in 4th place and only have 3 more games to go before we have played everyone once .... We have seen Rooney can score in the SPL, maybe not as much as some would like but he can hit the net. Eric is a new player and Jonny Hayes has terrorised a defence or two. Richie is just coming back to fitness, Esson has picked up where he left off and in Nick Ross we seem to have a pretty talented youngster who doesnt look out of his depth ...... It could all still go pear shaped but for now, its reasonably positive ..... I suppose when you put it like that it makes sense.
  13. He has been under pressure since his poor performance at the world cup and the allegations of his private life havent helped him try to re capture his form. He is a marvellous player but i think if he is too get back to his best he is in need of a change of scenery. Flogging him for the fee required will be tricky.
  14. An unrequired thread imo. Rooney has been fine for SPL level so far, Hayes has been terrorising some defences and Foran is getting back to full fitness but has already given some solid performances in more than one position. I will judge my opinion once they have a had a proper run of games together and after we are much later into the season.
  15. An arrogant little man that hates Caley, yeh ive missed him like i miss relegation.
  16. I'll be there.
  17. Boro were a messed up club before he was given that job. Unfortunately his complete overhauling of the team did nothing to help.

    Russell Duncan

I used to loath him but after his performances last season Russell has become one of my favourite players. Everytime Russell has played this season we have won, his performance against Aberdeen showed that he does a great job protecting the backline and always gives 100%.
  19. I'd be very surprised if Brian would even consider coming back. Contrary to what many would like to think Brian did not leave for money. He was released by ICT as part of the relegation changes. Yeah i guessed that. He has a family and stuff so the idea of a longer contract was probably more appealing. However the brief time he was here i thought he did ok.

    Team for Killie

    Are you serious?

    Team for Killie

Esson Duff, Tokely, Munro, Shinnie Duncan, Foran Hayes, Odhiambo, Ross Rooney Subs: Tuffey, McCann, Gillet, Sanchez, Sutherland, Blumenshtein, Morrison.
  22. Butcher always seems to be harshest on Russell When he first came in he signed Brian Kerr and used him with Ian Black, the start of last season he used Lee Cox and Daniel Stratford. And at the start of this season Stuart Duff goes straight into the team and plays along side Cox. And yesterday despite being on the back of a great win over Aberdeen Butcher sticks in an unfit and match lacking Kevin McCann for Russell and sure as your born we struggle. One statistic this season that i think should be noted is that every game we have won this season we have won with Duncan starting.
  23. Crap, thats pritty much what the 1st half in one word. We spent most of the half trying to get the ball out of our box. St Johnstone should've been out of sight by half time. 1st goal was a shambles. Tokely shouldve headered it and McCann shouldve been tracking Samuel. McCann in for Duncan was the most pointless change i have seen in a long time. And it showed as McCann looked off the pace and lacking practice. The team should've just been kept unchanged. The 2nd half was a minor improvement, we carved out a couple of good opportunities and St Johnstone had some more chances themselves. Rooney had a header which produced a great save from Graeme Smith and then lead to the goal, a great through ball from Foran and Johnny hit a nice low shot under the keeper. Both sides had their spells of dominance towards the end but couldn't muster a winner and after the pathetic sharade that was the 1st half i was content with a point. We cannot afford to perform like that against a so called relegation rival again this season.
  24. The 350k is a tax bill, i think their overall debt is about 2 million.
  25. I wonder if Butcher will try and bring back Brian Kerr. Not saying i want him. Im quite content with our current midfield but Tel has signed him a couple of times and may want to help him out again.
