Unfortunately I can't see 'the ego' walking and I can't see the board having the balls to get the rid of the incompetent idiot.

I personally think that Hastings is not good enough, so am quite happy we have bought someone that plays in the left back position.
  3. Yeh, credit where it's due. We really needed a change of players having lost the last six games. IMHO Proctor and Hastings have been terrible and we needed someone up front who could score, so well done for having the guts to play some of the new guys straight away. It could have back-fired badly, but it certainly didn't. I predicted we wouldn't beat Partick and am glad to say I was wrong. Although, would we still have won with same team that lost the last six?. That I doubt.
  4. I think he should pull on his boots again as a player boss, but hopefully at another club.
  5. Same again for me again - I think he will go for: -----------------Black------------------- ---Duff--Hastings---Tokely--Munro--- Imrie--Wood--Esson--Proctor--Cowie ----------------Duncan------------------ Remember - "A good player can play anywhere" - Craig Brewster
  6. Anybody got footage from Setanta of the brewster out banner on the bridge today?
  7. You can guarantee his interview will be : 'We all need to stick together - The players, coaching staff and fans.' same ***** he has been saying after the last 5 defeats
  8. We're now bottom of the league on our own. Lost the last 6 games we've played. Have only kept one clean sheet all season (1st game). I really worry about us being able to get away from the bottom under the current regime. Brewster GTF
  9. game over We've only kept one clean sheet all season - the first game of the season, says it all really Is there a team in the UK withe a worse home record?

    Probably more than Brewster does
  11. I watched the whole game on BBC Alba then watched the highlights last night as well (glutton for punishment). We were absolutely awful! 5 in defence obviously didn't work. Munro, Proctor and McGuire didn't have a clue what they were doing and got in each others way. Proctor especially had a nightmare - he was marking Porter for all 3 goals and never even got near him to put him off. McGuire, Proctor, Hastings, Munro, McBain, Imrie and Wood were all terrible (Cowie wasn't much better) 1 up front yet again didn't work as Wood can't hold the ball up, so it comes straight back again. The only positives I could take would be that Duncan was very good IMHO, he really worked hard and was all over the park. Tokely also did okay and was our second best player, Esson also couldn't be blamed too much. How long can we go on like this before we get rid of Brewster?
  12. I agree, I think we are stuck with Brewster, so we need the points. If it was a choice of us losing and getting rid of Brewster then I would happily take that.
  13. Last time I played in goal it was because I was so unfit and the weather was so hot that I passed out and my mates (funnily enough Stomach was playing that day too!!!) kindly dumped me on the goal line so I would at least be some use....so your shout to have me between the sticks might not be a bad one We did check to see you were still alive before continuing the game CaleyD! I seem to remember you were lying down in the goals with your eyes closed, still it was a big target for the opposition to get past :thumb04: and you did 'save' a few.
  14. I promise this is the last one http://elfyourself.jibjab.com/view/8pnWww43qTG3rG9ZlyLg :thumb04:
  15. You've got my vote - I think you might be more experienced than Brewster, he hasn't even played football manager. I'm just glad to be getting a game in your team
  16. The words Brewster and tactics should not be used in the same sentence
  17. Same again for me again - I think he will go for: -----------------Black------------------- ---Duff--Hastings---Tokely--Munro--- Imrie--Wood--Esson--Proctor--Cowie ----------------Duncan------------------ Remember - "A good player can play anywhere"
  18. Amazing what you have time for when you are on holiday :thumb04: Long time no see :018:
  19. Yeh, I wasn't happy with the Bennett one either (was done in a hurry). I have updated them with a better picture: http://elfyourself.jibjab.com/view/hQV8CgRpAETTCjrp http://elfyourself.jibjab.com/view/wJI5adNNc3UiPBXG BTW here are another 2: http://elfyourself.jibjab.com/view/7ccSLRFjflGDqBaKhHfC http://elfyourself.jibjab.com/view/9bOE0mr3snR2qHTqvMrv

  21. Brewster certainly sickened Rankin by leave him on the bench for about 6 weeks when he was fully fit. Then he started playing him again, but surprise, surprise he soon left. I heard at the time that Rankin and Park did not get on even that Rankin had punched Parky and this was why he left. This was obviously way off the mark as Rankin signed for Hibs where Park is assistant. So it must have been someone else he didn't get on with (I wonder who). Black also had a few fall outs with Brewster, famously in a dressing room bust up. Not saying these players might not have moved anyway, but Brew (the ego) seems to make a habit of this - He fell out with a LOT of players at DU too, Lee Miller, Derek McInnes and Paul Ritchie for instance (who all left btw).
  22. When I read this I thought of another quote from Calderwood a while back (please see my siganature)
  23. I have my doubts whether Cowie would always start for Rangers either, that said I never thought Robson would get a regular game for Celtic and Scotland, but I think he would be a good buy for them anyway. He can play play in the middle of the park, right midfield, just off the forward(s) and Brew thinks he can also play left midfield. He would also be handy just for cover in case Ferguson or Mendes etc got injured or just to rest someone in a 'lesser' game. Tbh, I think he is our most valuable player Would also be a great move for Cowie, he will earn much, much more money and it could vastly improve his reputation.
  24. I heard this rumour a few weeks ago too. Seems Rangers want him as cover because of the Thompson injury. I think both Black and Cowie would be a major loss for the club, Cowie did after all win every player of the year awards last year.
