  1. touchy touchy - don't take everything so serious man You've totally lost me now....sorry.
  2. Not really sure what's so funny about taking as much of an interest in the team I support as I can!!!
  3. Wish some of you could get to see what Shane is doing playing from that position in training....cause if he can start doing it in matches then it would be great.

  5. When you have no money, then you have no money and any cost is too much. However, if you are willing to pay £80 for a safe standing seat and can find another 99 or so people willing to do the same then I could guarantee you'll get what you want.
  6. Can I just check that you guys are watching the same games as the rest? Majority of people I have spoken to this season are delighted with the way the team is playing and despite yesterdays result are fairly upbeat. What appears to putting more people off than anything else is having to listen to small groups and individuals who seem to think we should be walking every match and are on the players/managers back, moaning, booing or shouting crap at the slightest thing.
  7. People also have a habit of assuming that every time something happens then it's the clubs fault and that fans could not possibly have been in the wrong and/or people should be free to do as they wish without any repercussions. In this instance, it appears only to be an assumption that they wanted a word with him about going for a smoke. He may have done something else whilst away from his seat. Or if it was for smoking, then perhaps it is something he had been warned about in the past....who knows. Don't get me wrong, plenty of rules/regulations/laws I disagree with, ignore or break in every day life...but when I choose to do so and I get pulled up for it, then que sera. Also don't think the Stewards are far from blameless on occasion, but sometimes it's down to individuals who need to take responsibility for their own actions.
  8. Thank you for pointing that out....as you can see I put the thread up during the small hours as I knew I wouldn't have time this morning and forgot to change the time. Yes, the highlights are all going on to our YouTube Channel, although they are on the Official SPL Channel first - http://www.youtube.com/splofficial Old highlights are still on the official website, but we will be getting these moved over first chance we get (fairly sizeable exercise to get them all uploaded to YouTube).

  10. As I said, no coincidence!!! I'm also not so sure the "business" theory holds water either....if that had been factored into it at all, then our game would have been on the Sunday, which would have had a lower impact on crowds, whilst still allowing Alba to screen it. I get the impression that someone at the SPL is just getting a little carried away and excited about having football on a Friday night and it's not been fully thought through. Yeah, I can see the sense of it for local derby matches which are being screened lived by SKY/ESPN, but beyond that it's just a nonsense.
  11. Correct that we get no extra money for league games being moved for TV. If any additional games were to be purchased then the fee for that would go to the central "pot" as the SPL own the rights. Cup matches are different. To my knowledge, individual clubs have little say in fixtures being moved and would need a very good reason to refuse. Being inconvenient for the fans, rather bizarelly, does not appear to be a good reason. Personally, I do think it's a bit more than coincidence that all 3 Friday games involve ourselves and C*unty. If you actually look at the games they would have clashed with then it would have made far more sense that they were the ones moved to the Friday as it would have involved far less travelling for the visiting support. At a time when the game in this country needs every fan it can muster, then it makes no sense whatsoever to be making it even more difficult for people to get to games....bizarre decision making at it's best, IMO.
  12. He was asked, but due to his dislike of separatism he's refused until they rename it the UK dept.
  13. Play nicely children.
  14. No immediate plans, but hopefully something we will look to include in future.
  15. Yup...after saying it I was scared not to...
  16. Just had confirmation that it has been moved to Friday 5th October with 7:45pm Kick Off....reason being that it is being shown on ESPN
  17. Not heard anything, but suspect/ed the game might be shifted for TV.
  18. Think I'll stick a tenner on Everton then.
  19. I'd go with that, although I'd happily accept an argument for having Pepper instead of Doran and/or Sutherland instead of Ross. Ross is a good player to have coming on against tired legs, and Pepper has to be in Butchers thoughts after latching on to that ball and securing a point on Saturday. Whatever the formation, it's good to see that we have a few workable options and despite being without OTJ and Foran can still put out a team that is capable of competing and not seen as makeshift.
  20. None of the reports I have seen are indicating that he was on a Yellow Card, and Foran himself is claiming he wasn't....confused.
  21. He thinks he's Sean Connery.

We have unfortunately not been able to take bookings for people intending to travel as we believed we were full and then had no shows on the day of travel. 23. And nobody will be more annoyed at him for doing that than himself.
