  1. Whilst C*unty lost 1-6 to Dunfermline at the Global Energy Stadium yesterday.
  2. I wasn't suggesting that the club was faultless in any way....nor did I seek to defend the tardiness in getting the information online. I was, in fact, the one who highlighted that it should have been up but wasn't...and there's likely someone at the club cussing me for that, but hey ho!!! Nor do I think that the fans are to blame for everything, but I do think that their needs to be a bit of movement from both sides if we are to start improving things. There's certainly nothing to be gained from spending more time on the blame game than on striving to put things right, especially if that involves hammering the people who are trying. The information wasn't put online when it should have been...that's a screw up, but nothing can change that and I'm sure it will be looked in to by the club to see how and why (something I would not have been confident of happening a couple of years back). However, the information did go out to the press and was in at least one of last weeks local papers...so the failure to communicate was not total (of little consequence in the eyes of some I am sure). I totally get (and share) the frustration from fans when things, sometimes simple things, don't go/get done as the should. I just choose to deal with it different these days. I could have come on and done as others did by bitching, moaning and complaining about it and I would have been just as entitled to do so as anyone else. Instead I chose to use that bit of time and energy to go find the information and get it online. In deciding to do that I somehow become the villain and the next thing Caley Jags Together are being blamed for the screw up...how does that work? I could have just ignored the situation, done nothing, posted nothing and left fans without the info to continue to bitch and moan (seems that would have been the outcome either way) and saved myself the grief. People want to know how they can help....take a little bit of that time you were going to spend a rant and use it instead to spread the information instead. Not saying people shouldn't complain when things get screwed up, but we all have the power to help negate the effects of that if we just approach things with a slightly different mindset. Fans should not be viewed, or be viewing themselves, as "just customers". They are so much more than that, they deserve to be treated as so much more than that, but they also have to behave in a manner which is so much more than that.
  3. I'll be sitting in the main stand now I know that home tickets are on sale and for your info I've only been to one County game this season and that was their opening game at home to Motherwell I do find this breakdown of communication or lack of it quite concerning though regarding the sale of derby tickets A bit of an early own goal for the newly merged caleyjagsforever but I can only hope they learn from this and make sure the fans are kept up to speed in future My fear now due to county being so far ahead in ticket sales is that we will have a situation like we had when the orcs were in town ie a large number of away fans purchasing tickets in the home areas which could easily result in flash points Let's just hope for once the dormant ICT fans make the effort again and snap up our tickets Dougal Why is this an "own goal" for CaleyJagsTogether? They have nothing whatsoever to do with the physical selling of tickets.
  4. Not sure where the communication breakdown occurred with getting the info online, but as soon as I realised this evening I added it to the website, facebook and twitter.
  5. Yes, home tickets are on sale and have been since last week....please don't shoot the messenger.
  6. Munro and Tokely are playing superbly this season whilst rooney cant even make the starting eleven . Yeah, because Tokely and Munro are playing at C*unty through choice when they could really be earning 5 times as much, plying their trade and starting every week for Birmingham or Swindon!!!
  7. You're right Fraz, but with the whole Scottish Football setup so chronically disfunctional, then you can't criticise the first team manager for at least trying....as the saying goes "you can only piss with the c*ck your given" Like it or not, it doesn't matter a jot who you put in charge of Scotland at the moment, we don't have the players at present to be competing any more than we are....nor will we have them if things are allowed to continue as is. That's not Leveins fault and he is undertaking a thankless and impossible task....and he's a fool to himself if he believes any different. It's easy to look at a single game, or set of games and pick holes...but until everyone takes a step back and looks at the bigger issue and the wider problems then we'll lurch from one set of tournament qualifiers to the next with no improvement. Everywhere you turn in Scottish Football it's a mitigating disaster, and at every level. The only people to blame are the SFA, along with those who have the power to change that regime but fail to do so.
  8. Never managed to get highlights up as promised.....however (and don't expect this too regularly as it takes an age to encode and upload) I've stuck up the full 90 minutes of the game now instead.
  9. Why can't Levein accept that playing Tokely and Munro would have guaranteed us the win!!!
  10. Force of habit to just add on 7 days....sorted.
  11. Hibs and Stennie Info added above.
  12. We lose more from having Foran up front than we gain from having him sitting back, IMO.
  13. Players are at very different stages of their career (and ages)....it's like comparing apples and oranges.
  14. IMO, to get the most from Foran then sit him in front of the back 4. From there he can offer support where it's most needed at the moment (defence), but still has the option to push into the middle and/or allow the midfield pairing to push forward in support up front. What's more, as Captain, it is easier to keep an eye on your team when they are playing in front of you....and with young/inexperienced players then having an effective leader who is able to lead effectively is vital, so let's make it more straight forward for him in fulfilling that role also.
  15. IMO, the thread has longs since stopped being about Butcher and is now nothing more than a c*ck measuring competition between users on either side of the discussion trying to outdo each other. It's been a while, but I actually agree with IHE's last post!!!
  16. On the clubs YouTube Channel - http://www.youtube.com/officialict
  17. There's the answer, get back to where we belong and stop punching above our weight. Such a bad thing if we have a sustainable, well supported club that people want to be a part of?
  18. All being well I should have some highlights from the game up later this evening.
  19. 1. Antonio Reguero 2. Andrew Skinner - 4. Matthew Cooper - 5. Steven MacKenzie - 3. Ryan Watson 10. Liam Polworth - 6. Martin Laing - 8. Gavin Morrison - 7. Andre Blackman 11. Ryan Christie 9. Jason Oswell SUBS: 19. Scott Mathieson - 12. Kyle Whyte - 14. Calum Ferguson - 15. Jay Cheyne - 16. Matthew Murphy
  20. You're welcome.
  21. The term "Losing Battle" springs to mind, Mr B.
  22. U20's are at home to Killie tomorrow at 3pm. Lads have had a great start to the season and the last home game v Hearts was a very entertaining match.
  23. "Ask not what your club can do for you, ask what you can do for your club"? I was thinking more along the lines of..... "Let every opponent know... that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of our club."
  24. Only strange if you didn't follow ICT during the Pele years when our season starts were a carbon copy of what we've seen so far.....keep the faith.
  25. That's twice ferben94, if you have a problem then (as instructed) PM me or another moderator....keep up with the jibes on every thread you post on and you will get your wish.
