  1. I never said discussing it was negative. However it is a negative issue which is being compounded by a few, and to the detriment of all the good stuff which is being forced aside by these people hijacking every topic with the same thing and/or finding 101 ways to post a new thread about it. All for discussing the problems and how we think they might be rectified....but the fact that it is used to fuel ongoing and unhealthy campaigns against individuals is in no way, shape or form healthy...not healthy for the team, not healthy for the club and not healthy for the forum. What's especially annoying is when these people have received personal invites from the club to go and provide a more direct input and they have ignored them, choosing instead to continue spouting on the forums and claiming nobody is listening.
  2. And what do you think you gain from saying the same thing over and over again? You can't post ANYTHING these days without closing with a swipe at someone. We're 3 games in to a new campaign, a campaign a few people had written off before a ball was even kicked because in their eyes no signing Butcher was ever going to make would be good enough....and/or he's never going to be good enough. Instead of admitting that they might have got it wrong, or that it's not as bad as they claimed it would be, they choose instead to latch on to any and every problem/glitch as if it somehow justifies their previous stance.....and you reckon Butcher is the Narcissist? IMO, your BS and negativity does nothing but act as a magnet for further BS and negativity....and that has driven away many of the best contributors to this site. Anyone who disagrees with you or challenges you is shot down with accusations that they are just a "happy clapper" or they somehow don't have the brain power, wherewithal or mental aptitude to be taken serious....if not that then you fall back on the tired old "it was sarcasm", "you took the bait" lines. We're not Man Utd, Barcelona or any such team, and that means our players aren't the best in the world and we have a manager who isn't perfect....get over it because it's not going to change any time soon. In fact, get over it because for a City the size of Inverness, with a club that has the resources we have, then we're actually doing not to badly....and that deserves far more praise than it does criticism. Nobody is asking that anyone ignore things that go wrong, but reading these forums at times would make you think that nothing was going right. To read these forums the last couple of weeks you wouldn't think that ICT were playing some of the most entertaining football we've seen for a long time. Some of the squad must be wondering what they have to do to please the fans when they get little more than a passing mention on the matchday thread whilst one moment of madness/stupidity (call it what you will) gets so much attention. Heck, even when someone does try to start a conversation that's a bit more positive, along you come to chit on their parade. If wanting to start of the season in positive mood, behind the team and trying to do my bit to spur them on and give them credit for the good stuff makes me an "erse licking happy clapper", then send me the t-shirt and I'll wear it with pride.
  3. Sure....but do we need 101 threads about it? All from the same bunch of people who seem to be so concerned about finding things to snipe about that they're showing next to no appreciation for the good stuff. There's 11+ players who represent us in each match....where's all the threads praising the performance of the rest of the team? Fully expect the..."well these players are overshadowing the performance of the rest....blah blah blah"...but that's bs and only the case if people make it that way.
  4. Why do some people feel the need to flood the forum with negative threads...mostly about the same thing...and fail to recognise the many positives (which outweigh the negatives massively, IMO) in the same way?
  5. Ok, so he screwed up and people can be angry at that if they wish...but it makes no sense cutting off your nose to spite your face by benching him purely for the sake of it. What good does that do anyone?
  6. I'm many a thing....but a liar is not one of them and, quite frankly, I don't care if you believe me or not.
  7. You need to get your facts straight before you go accusing anyone of anything. I blocked nothing, but if you want to get down off your high horse for just a moment I'll explain to you what likely happened. The moment the SPL upload the match footage to the central channel and claim rights to it (whether they put that footage live or not), then any/all other videos on YouTube which match that, or part of that, are automatically flagged as being copyright infringement. There's a few options open to the original owner of the footage (The SPL...not me, not ICT). As the media agreements prevent the showing of highlights online in the UK before 6:00pm on Sunday (for Saturday 3pm games), then the only one of those options which would have kicked in is to block it in the UK....hence the "not available in your country" message. If you had engaged your brain for just a second, and taken into consideration the information I provided to you via PM the other week in regards the clubs position on videos which breach copyright then you might have realised their was more at play here and it wasn't anyone being over zealous in the management of the situation. At the very least you could have asked the question before spouting off.

  9. If they (St Johnstone) are paying more than St Mirren could offer and enough to temp players away from Rangers....what makes you think we could afford them?
  10. As far as I am aware the bus is full.
  11. They were actually on sale inside the ground at half-time on Saturday (and a good few were sold) but yeah, not enough people to cover both...feel free to volunteer.

    U20s game

They line 1-11 in these games and wore last seasons shirts. I saw there was a camera on the other side, will the highlights be going on the YouTube page? My first time videoing a full game....so can't promise anything (not checked back the footage yet), but with any luck there will be
  15. I'll look out my beach thong....
  16. And having invoked Godwins Law....that will be the end of this conversation!!!!
  17. I don't agree with a lot of the rules, or their application, but they are displayed on the turnstiles and the back of the tickets....they're also pretty much the same throughout the country. Whilst it may result in just another one of those things which can spoil the matchday experience, it's really not within the clubs direct control to do anything about it.
  18. And more often than not when you don't see it!!!
  19. Clear red card. What's your point caller....I clearly said I thought it was a Red Card, just that it wasn't nearly as bad as some were trying to make out. It's also pretty clear from that image that Fowler is pulling his own shirt
  20. 10% isn't actually a bad uptake...it's above national average. However, if you want to take them to games then all you need to do is ask.....drop me a PM or an e.mail to [email protected] and we'll see about organising ticket for you to take the kids along to a game (or two, or three).
  21. I find it a tad ironic that those in the crowd are not allowed bottles of water etc for fear that they get thrown on to the pitch....especially on hot days like today when, during every break in play, those in the dugout proceeded to throw bottles of water on to the pitch!!!

  23. Wasn't having a go....just genuinely pointing out that different people will be looking to be convinced in different ways. There's no doubting that football is an expensive pursuit these days and it's unfortunate that some will be turned away for that reason. I hope that the team do enough to keep those like yourself coming back time and again and paying as you go...if they do, then they ultimately make more than they would have if you'd bought a season ticket!!!
  24. Was Raven who got bandaged was it not? Couldn't hear the crowd from behind the glass....but really hope we had some chants of "Only 2 Terry Butchers"
