2 Adult + 2 Kids = £60/ £70 per game. 2 Adult + 2 Kids Season Tickets = £660 or £34.74 per game. So long as you can make 10 games over the season then you're saving money....or looking at it another way, you're getting 9 games for free. Not a kick in the butt off half price football!!

P.S. If you buy a season ticket, then you effectively get 6 games "free".

£30 is the MAXIMUM (if you exclude boxes & hospitality)....there are cheaper options for those who do not wish to pay that much. Whether you agree with the £30 ticket or not, those bleating on about it without giving any consideration to/credit for the cheaper options are doing the club more harm by putting people off than that ONE ticket price is doing....thus reducing the clubs income. Prices in the North Stand are £25, £20 & £10....the vast majority of matchday ticket sales fall into the £20 or less categories.

Apologies for the terrible video angle/quality....was trying to juggle several tasks at the same time today and forgot to change the lense on the camera and get it properly positioned.
  5. One man's unrealistic expectation, is another man's hopes and dreams. What's the point if it's not the latter?
  6. Here's a screenshot of the schedule....note the times/days and number given for each.
  7. The 0844 number has been in place for years...so not new. It's also 24 hour. There's not much point in directing people to call the club number out of hours, or when there's nobody there to answer!!
  8. Big Dunc is a fan of including the U20s...and talks here about changes at the club also helping Development Players.
  9. I'm not saying for one second that fans aren't allowed to express legitimate concern....what I'm saying is, that there's absolutely nothing wrong in wanting/expecting your team to win (regardless of the opponent) and expressing that as vociferously as you like without fear of some grumpy beggar coming along saying "let's not get carried away" etc. I'd far rather spend all week being upbeat and positive and risk a day of being down if we get beat, than spend all week being dull and cautious then having one day of "yeah" before returning to being dull again before the run up to the next game. People seem to have forgotten that following football is a pastime, something which people should look to enjoy first and foremost. Of course there will be moments of upset, or things that happen which we don't like....but all those things can be discussed without the need to banish all hope. It's no wonder we're fast becoming a country full of depressives when the slightest hint of optimism is met with such negativity.
  10. Leave it to the Manager and Team to worry about not underestimating the opposition.....as fans we should be giving it hot licks and bigging up our chances to the max for every game.
  11. Strictly U20s, so no overage players like they can do in the Development League.
  12. Not sure the reason, but seems Alloa always kick off at 7:30 midweek...they were the same for their 2 midweek games in the group stages.
  13. We've not totally dismissed the idea....just going down a different route at the moment. Part of the problem is that everyone wants to tie us into contracts for 3+ years (most 5 years)....and with contracts being for thousands of pounds, it's a big commitment when you're not sure what's around the corner. Ideally if we're looking at that kind of contract then it needs to pay for itself in year 1....thus removing that financial risk/burden from further down the line. Having been looking at the issue for 12 years (maybe more), I would hate to think of the number of hours Scotty and I have put into pouring over the options and then re-visiting them to see what's changed. I'm sure we'll get there eventually.
  14. Some line chackers will tell you we can get that as well.....but we can't.
  15. Not sure how much I can say on BBC other than the setup is changing this season....from the camera setup at games right through.
  16. Yup....but as I said above, the service is chronic over copper. The number of conjoined pairs needed to get a usable sevice would make it more expensive than a leased line.
  17. Not that shocking. Like it or not, they are a commercial TV channel and viewing figures are all they're interested in.
  18. We have to find a balance. If we offer too much on the highlights, then people won't pay a premium for full matches. Being honest and upfront....I don't see highlights going over 10 mins. For games like the Arbroath one...it would be worth a couple pound extra for the full game.
  19. They don't have fiber either. We have looked at point to point microwave etc. over longer distance, but it has its own pitfalls. The only practical solution is leased line which runs to thousands per year...plus install. We're trying to make the numbers work on that at present.
  20. Depends on how interesting the match has been!!
  21. This is something we have already done some work on. Again, internet connection at the stadium is our nemesis and has given us some reliability issues. We don't have the equipment to run it over ISDN and 4G is fine until you get a couple of thousand people all trying to jump on it here at the same time. We don't have fiber connection available to us (yet) at the stadium as our cabinet was never upgraded due to it only serving two properties. This means that, due to distance from the exchange, we can get less than 2MB download and about 0.4MB upload on a good day...on each copper pairing. It's the upload that we need for streaming, be it audio or video, and that's not enough for either to be reliable. We push towards solutions though and get a little closer every time we have a crack at it.
  22. We're going to have to move to a different platform for providing highlights this season. We don't have the resource, and it's not practical at many grounds, to put in our own cameraman to capture our own footage at every game. This means we need to move videos behind a registration wall in order to utilise the feed being taken from the TV cameras instead. This need for registration will be taken care of via the club website. Obviously this new platform will come with a cost to the club. We are working on that and hope to get the basic costs covered, allowing us to continue to offer highlights without charge. If we do have to cover that cost through charging, then it will be a minimal annual subscription of around £15 per person (max). The club absolutely do not want to go this route if at all avoidable....so if we can find a way to keep highlights free, then we will. On the plus side....hopefully we'll be in a position to offer "on demand" full matches in the not too distant future, just got some logistics issues to work round. This will be offered at a small fee which we've still to determine (feedback on what people would be willing/expecting to pay per game or for annual subscription welcome). Not quite there (in terms of connection speed at stadium) to be able to offer live home matches for overseas fans, but we continue to work on it and if we can find an affordable and practical solution then the new platform will be able to facilitate it without the upheaval of moving again. Obviously if/when we do get to a point where we are offering full matches (either live or on demand) for a fee, then we would review the need for any subscription need for highlights...should we need to start out on that path.
  23. Was keeping an eye out, but didn'the see you :(
