  1. There's the same number of turnstile operators....it's just that money handlers have been put together to allow then to operate more efficiently and easily take up the slack from each other. West side turnstiles are closed due to the expected size of the crowd.... something which happened at some games in previous seasons.
  2. Surely they'd have GYP 5Y
  3. Sounds like something a female rapper might call themselves!!
  4. The ticket office will be operating 4 windows. 2 x Cash, 1 x Card and 1 x Collections/overspill from other points. Normally there's 1 x cash gate for North Stand and Main Stand use Ticket Office. There's a further 2 x Cash windows at the kiosk for away fans. Stewards will be given an extended briefing and will be proactively directing fans.
  5. Fans should note that the club will not be operating cash turnstiles this coming season. For HOME fans, tickets should be purchased from the ticket office before proceeding to the Turnstiles....for both Cash & Card Sales. Additional ticketing windows will operate to improve upon the effectiveness of this system when it has been used previously, but it still requires fans to arrive at the ground in good time to ensure access to the ground before kick-off. No matter the system, if everyone shows up 10 minutes before the game is due to start then we'll never get everyone in on time. Where possible, fans should purchase tickets in advance. This can be done online at https://www.eticketing.co.uk/ictfc/ or by phone on 0844 847 1888 (both available 24 hours per day). Obviously with cup matches there is an increased number of ticket purchases involved....please keep that in mind and allow a little more time than you might for a league match. The Turnstiles on the West side of the ground will not be in operation for this weekend's match via Dundee Utd. For any AWAY fans visiting the forum....Cash sales will take place from the KIOSK located at the end of the South Stand. Card sales need to be done at the Ticket Office located at the front of the Main Stand.
  6. The club do pick up on stuff discussed on here and as I am in/around the club I will answer what I can, where/when I can.....off my own back. My point was not that people should HAVE to approach the club that way, but that if the explanation I provided (as someone in a position to give an answer) wasn't sufficient, then they had an alternative.....contact the club through other/proper channels.
  7. If my word on the fact that this is simply a variation on the badge and not a replacement isn't sufficient, then I can only suggest that people get in touch with the club through an official channel with their name and contact details so a response can be provided that way.
  8. The team train at a few different locations. Fort George remains the primary training ground, but they will use other locations if the conditions underfoot are better suited to whatever they are working on.
  9. Thanks for helping to prove my point
  10. Who said he'd been offered anything here or that we were actually interested? Seems to me like people are getting their knickers in a twist over nothing.
  11. Five's not a quadruple!
  12. Some stuff for the kids (young & old) as well.... http://ictfc.com/news/club-news/1792-fun-day-v-arbroath
  13. More papers are taking their paywalls down than putting them up these days....was killing site visitors and, as such, online advertising revenue.
  14. The match kicks off at 3pm......2:15pm is the time the show starts on BT.
  15. Still available from Curtis Sport http://www.curtis-sport.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=64&product_id=836
  16. Yes. Apologies for the delay, took me longer than anticipated to check through/edit the content and I'm just awaiting sign off so I can put it online.
  17. Bughtmaster, I wasn't really aiming my views at anyone in particular....had I any specific point to make about your post then I would have quoted it. However, now that you've re-established focus on your post, it's probably your second last line that gives it an air of 'OMG AN ICEBERG'
  18. The objective in these matches is not winning or to be entertaining....it's about getting a run out, shaking off the cobwebs and the manager trying to get a gauge on where players are at with fitness/sharpness. The only people who can judge how successful the match was are the Manager and Coaches. I've seen pre-seasons where we've gone out and won every friendly, bagging goals by the fistful and had terrible starts to the season....and vice-versa. We saw one trialist and Richie has said he'll be running the rule over another 2 or 3 before the start of the league season...and also that he won't rush any decision as he wants the right players and not just any players. Maybe I'm just getting more chilled about these things in my old age, but I don't get worked up over pre-season matches anymore. I think I might have just had a "turning into my Dad" moment!!!
  19. Not misleading at all.....I clearly state that the variation with the change of wording wasn't first used until about 6 months ago.
  20. Yeah, they did!!! It's been used on the website and social media....not for everything, but here's a few examples.
  21. The reworking of the badge was actually done, and started to be used, about 9 or 10 years ago. The variation with "Pride of the Highlands" started to be rolled out on things over 6 months ago. The club name has not been changed.....well, not since 1996 at least!
  22. I've just been told that the remainder of the listed friendlies are first team. It's entirely feasible that some of the squads would also include U20s....but that's just speculation on my part.
  23. All other listed friendlies will be first team, including the two next weekend.
  24. It's not white, it's vanilla. Got a feeling this could be my new "small k" point this coming season!!
  25. Actually, it's Tahitian Gold Vanilla.
