  1. Sorry Kingsmills but if he had done such a decent job (for which I'm sure he was very well paid) we would have had an infrastructure to protect against such failings. I just can't believe how many people credit so much to him. My opinion I know but he has left this club in an absolute mess.
  2. You are probably right Kingsmills but it depends on how much of the UEFA fee Cameron gave him to sign on again. However, I class £1500 plus per week as HUGE for a club of our size and the crowds we attract.
  3. Any word on Meekings going to the dwellers
  4. Will be very surprised if we go any further, nice lad, will probably have good HFL career and father a legend. We must remember that not many HFL players have the attitude, commitment or consistency needed to succeed in full-time football.
  5. Nick Ross seemingly going to Spain. Currently talking to two second tier teams.
  6. You can't tell players under contract just "to go".
  7. If they rise or are about same we will hear if they fall we won't
  8. Sorry meant to work.

TBH Scotty I have never believed that the Scottish Development league has done anything to develop our youngsters. Personally I am a great believer in sticking the young uns with potential in with the more experienced pros so that they are training and playing with better, more mature players. We used to to do this and these young lads had their kidneys dunted by the old HFL defender and told not to come back or there would be more. I know that's not football but they grew up a lot quicker and developed a lot quicker, Grant Munro, Ike Fraser to name but two. I just wonder where we are going from here.
  10. Nice ro hear LG. Now that Cameron is no more are you looking to come back?

Sensible set up by the sounds of things
  12. That is effin disgraceful. What kind of club has this become?
  13. I am looking forward to the style of football Robbo will bring. I think our coaching team could have a nice balance about it and don't forget he could also call on Charlie Christie and Duncan Shearer. We have a lot of experience at the club and I think Robbo will benefit from it.
  14. Personally I wish Robbo the very best of luck and I hope he can put the mojo back into this club. I applaud the decision to retain Brian Rice and Kel who to me seem to be very good coaches. Robbo will need them both functioning at 100%. I am however at a loss to hear that Warren and Raven are no longer required - where this came from GOK. We are short of players as it is. IMO we still need a director of football as I feel Robbo will struggle dealing direct with a board which has absolutely no football experience.

Good idea IMO, for what it's worth. Many years ago our reserve team played the FREE Highland League Team and it certainly helped our young lads along the way.
  16. Cos we had a crap head strong manager
  17. Maybe Sheerin would listen to him instead of ignoring his advice like Foran did.

It really does amaze me how people can give so much of their time, most days, most weeks without any reward. They must either be very rich or have an income source which does not require their time input.
  19. Not the fans problem. The board need to show some ambition and attract the necessary funding
  20. An absolute kick in the teeth. I would have thought the club would have wanted to ATTRACT more fans NOT get rid of them!

I believe Nick Ross is looking abroad and has a couple of good money offers. Would probably suit his game better.

Surely couldn't have been as bad as Proctor
  23. Sorry for my ignorance here but who are we talking about?
  24. Thinks you may have difficulty with the current power brokers Roy.
  25. Totally agree. Just goes to show how much football knowledge our board has
