  1. Yeah, that was our first ever league goal, but we'd played our first ever game a few days earlier away to East Stirlingshire in the 1st Round of the League Cup, winning 2-0 with Wilson Robertson getting the opener!
  2. There's almost now a feeling of inevitability about Hibs finishing in the play-off spot. It'll all be much clearer after tonight's games!
  3. I think that was Wilson Robertson.
  4. When exactly was it? 16th December 2000. Inverness 4-0 Airdrie. First Division. Goals from David Bagan (498), Charlie Christie (499), Davide Xausa (500) and Dennis Wyness (501).
  5. Why are folk still randomly guessing? It's over! Renegade won! He correctly stated that Davide Xausa scored Inverness's 500th ever goal. That's it!! Jeez, what have I started...?
  6. Also a good call, but...too late! Renegade got it right! It was our Canadian striker, Davide Xausa! 500 - David Xausa 1000 - Grant Munro on 1.399 and counting....
  7. Well done, Renegade! So we're 101 goals away from the 1,500th - obviously won't be next season, but likely some time in 2016 we'll hit that landmark.
  8. You did! DAVIDE XUASA!!!
  9. Nope! Not him, Renegade! The mystery deepens!
  10. It wasn't an Own Goal, - I knew someone shrewd would go for that! Paul Ritchie's a great shout, also but not correct. Good answers from Mahonio, Bingham and Wyness but not them either - but it's more fun, Mahonio when it's just one guess at a time!
  11. Mann and Glancy are both wrong! But I see your thinking!
  12. It wasn't him, either!
  13. Unlucky, Kingsmills! Good guess.
  14. I read it that way too, Big G. So, rumour aside, we're still in the dark regarding the other players although the absence of bench-players in our last couple of games suggests that most of the rest will be getting moved-on. The club website needs to inform the fans of what's going on, rather than reading it in the papers. Particularly these days with 'social media' - whatever that's supposed to mean. I've little time for the narcissism that is FaceFriend, Bookbumface, Chitter, or Twit-here, but often these outlets are ahead of the game - the club needs to 'keep up' - says the guy just getting used to his first mobile telephone.
  15. It's quite well known that fittingly, (captain at the time) Grant Munro scored our 1,000th ever goal. The next 'milestone' goal would have to be 1,500, but interestingly, our next goal will be our 1,400th. It wasn't reported at the time, to my knowledge, who notched our 500th goal - or maybe I've just forgotten! However, I've now got the answer! Anybody wish to have a guess....?
  16. I love your use of the word 'just' there, like it would be a minor adjustment we could make in the close-season! The stands are fine by me - and they'll certainly out-live their expected lifespan due to considerably less usage than may have been expected, unfortunately due to our increasingly desperate attendances.
  17. I can't believe that's 10 years ago! I remember it was a lovely warm, sunny day and the place was packed. I always stood on the West terracing in those days. Strangely, I was confident we'd win, having a 1-0 / Paul Ritchie bet on at the bookies. That didn't jinx the team thankfully! At full time, despite being in my 30's then and having no intention of 'invading' the pitch, I soon found myself straddling the barrier and running onto the field to try and shake-the-hand of any of our players. But I was outrun by the yoofs! A great memory, and despite our successes since, reaching the SPL was something of a Holy Grail for me; therefore that afternoon is still my number two 'ICT moment' (after the Parkhead 3-1 stunner), which again, despite having established ourselves as a club, will take some beating, due to the context of the situation and the enormity of the achievement at the time.
  18. The winner stays up - so I hope it's a draw, leave them both sweating going into their final game on Saturday! It's so tight between the teams trying to avoid the relegation play-off...even the goal differences are much the same. I'm not going to even try to predict who'll finish 11th - it really could be any of the 4!
  19. Yeah, and the Courier also reporting the same. I had high hopes for him at one time - but that was last season, he's just not featured at all this campaign. I'm sure he'll find new a club over the summer. Signed up until the end of season 2016-17: • Richie Foran Signed up until the end of season 2015-16: • John Hughes - Manager • Russell Latapy - Assistant Manager • Aaron Doran • Carl Tremarco • Danny Williams • Dean Brill • Ryan Esson • James Vincent • Ross Draper Signed up until the end of next season (2014-15): • Greg Tansey • Daniel Devine • Graeme Shinnie • Nick Ross • Marley Watkins • Gary Warren • David Raven • Josh Meekings • Billy McKay • Ryan Christie • Liam Polworth Signed up until the end of this season (2013-14): • Jason Brown • Joe Gorman • Cammy Mackay • Matthew Cooper • Ali Sutherland • Calum Howarth • Jay Cheyne • Ben Greenhalgh • Nick Draper • Calum Ferguson • Adam Evans • Conor Pepper - RELEASED
  20. I hope we don't mirror them in that respect!
  21. I suppose the loan players, Calum Ferguson (Montrose) and Ben Greenhalgh (Stenhousemuir) will have returned, as those clubs' seasons are now over. However, the 'rumour' is that Adam Evans, Jay Cheyne, Nick Draper, Joe Gorman, Conor Pepper, Calum Howarth and Matthew Cooper are being released. No official confirmation from the club yet - likely waiting until the end of season. So, the latest is: Signed up until the end of season 2016-17: • Richie Foran Signed up until the end of season 2015-16: • John Hughes - Manager • Russell Latapy - Assistant Manager • Aaron Doran • Carl Tremarco • Danny Williams • Dean Brill • Ryan Esson • James Vincent • Ross Draper Signed up until the end of next season (2014-15): • Greg Tansey • Daniel Devine • Graeme Shinnie • Nick Ross • Marley Watkins • Gary Warren • David Raven • Josh Meekings • Billy McKay • Ryan Christie • Liam Polworth Signed up until the end of this season (2013-14): • Jason Brown • Joe Gorman • Cammy Mackay • Matthew Cooper • Ali Sutherland • Conor Pepper • Calum Howarth • Jay Cheyne • Ben Greenhalgh • Nick Draper • Calum Ferguson • Adam Evans
  22. Newcastle United. Since we first made the SPL their record of 'level' played at has exactly mirrored ours! 2004/05 - Both 'top flight' 2005/06 - Both 'top flight' 2006/07 - Both 'top flight' 2007/08 - Both 'top flight' 2008/09 - Both Relegated 2009/10 - Both promoted back as Champions at the first attempt 2010/11 - Both 'top flight' 2011/12 - Both 'top flight' 2012/13 - Both 'top flight' 2013/14 - Both 'top flight'
  23. I think that even finishing 5th ahead of St. Johnstone would see us enter the League Cup a round later (providing Dundee United win the Cup!) I was never a big fan of 'season's over' talk at any stage, feeling that every game, right to the last fixture is of some relevance both financially and for a better seeding in the League Cup.
  24. It's a monumental game for both sides! If my arithmetic is correct, the winner definitely stays up, with the losing club going into the final fixture in real danger of slipping into the relegation play-off.
  25. Definitely a marked improvement on the 0-5 game! Particularly with a 'weakened' team. How much, roughly is the prize money between 5th and 6th? A figure of approx. £80,000 seems to come to mind.
