  2. Main stand. He sits on the woof.
  3. Photographs can be deceptive, but blimey, if they're 9 metres 'across', that blue chair at the back must be 3 metres wide!
  4. 'Their cup final' was the Scottish Cup. If we get there, we'll certainly mobilise more fans than for this game.
  5. If there was a ground webcam, we could have a 'butchers'! That can be added to the list of 'Where's the clock? / big-screen? / scoreboard?' !!
  6. Remarkably, to think if this game had been held at Hampden, it would be getting close to a sell-out! Certainly, 90% capacity!
  7. That wouldn't be out of place on the inside cover of the much anticipated CD-single, 'The Red and the Blue'!
  8. I agree with DoofersDad about the importance of Sunday's tie against Dundee United. It tends to have been reduced to a routine sideshow due to preoccupation with the League Cup final and how many tickets we've sold. We've very important games between then and now. This season's Scottish Cup affords us a realistic chance of going all the way to the Final. Not convinced the League Cup final is the biggest game in our history - although I'd agree it's certainly our most high profile. Although a matter of opinion, I'd argue our Scottish Cup semi-finals were bigger games and certainly the crucial final game of last season in Dingwall where it was in our hands to secure 3rd place in the SPL and a guaranteed European spot.
  9. Be fascinating to see if you get a response, GoldenDelicious! Using a very unscientific method based on assumption and ratios, there could well be roughly 10 ex-Pat ICT fans in Sydney. UK population 63,000,000, Inverness 63,000 (1 in 1000 are Invernessians) Estimated UK diaspora population in Australia = 1,300,000 (1,300 Invernessians) Population of Sydney (3,500,000) relative to Australia (23,500,000) = apprx 15% 15% of the 1,300 Invernessians = 195 in Sydney With ICT's average home support being around 1 in 20 of the population of Inverness, 1/20 of 195 = 10. Just a rough 'ball park' guesstimate! Good luck tracking them down!
  10. Draper's suspended for this one...
  11. I think that was just a one off. It's back to Saturday this year.
  12. We get bigger crowds and more cash at home to Ross County than say Livi, Dumbarton, Hamilton or Falkirk So, yes I want County to stay up! It's also a message to the MSM that Highland football is alive and kicking! Not ONE but TWO Highland teams in the top league!
  13. Anybody who wants to attend this game can do so. It's really that simple. Parkhead is the 2nd biggest football ground in Britain. There will be 20,000 empty seats.
  14. That's uncanny. Just 20 minutes ago I was reading on a snooker forum that next months snooker World Championships at the Crucible have yet to secure a sponsor. One poster mentioned that they'll likely secure a deal with an obscure on-line betting company, and another commented "as long as it's not Pukka Pies" again ! They sponsored the UK Championships in 2009 and the announcer boomed over the microphone, The NEW Pukka Pies UK snooker Champion is Ding Junhui! He won his weight in pies and donated the 276 Pukka Pies to a homeless charity!
  15. League Two Rory McAllister (Peterhead 3-1 Annan Athletic) Highland League Martin Laing (Clachnacuddin 4-0 Fort William) Struan Scott-Woodhouse (Clachnacuddin 4-0 Fort William)
  16. It was probably a convoy of caravans...!
  17. Apologies for my incorrect assumption - I may have misinterpreted the following article. A lot of the legalities are a little 'over-my-head'! http://ictsupporterstrust.co.uk/news/trust-news/212-stadium-ownership
  18. I think Highland I think Highland Council own the stadium.
  19. And a huge leap to no. 119 in the World Rankings! He'll be eyeing Ryder Cup at this rate!
  20. That is absolutely, bloody awful!
  21. He's had a good 3rd round and is now in 3rd place going into the final round, 3 shots behind leader, Rory McIlroy! I was just looking at his World Ranking history and he's currently 205 with a career high of 200. He's certain to break well into the top 200 now, I'd imagine.
  22. This thread by Yngwie refers to our ability to 'come back' in games after conceding. But after yesterday's result, how do we generally 'bounce back' from hammerings? We don't get turned-over easily, very often - but when it does happen, we have incredible resilience... Going all the way back to the 6-0 drubbing from Airdrie in 2001, our response to a heavy defeat has always been positive - indeed, we've often then gone on a great run! The only time, in this sequence, we've not responded positively was this season, when we lost 4-0 at Perth and then lost the subsequent game - but even that didn't stop another sequence of great form immediately after! 2001 Airdrie 6-0 Inverness Followed by : D W D W W 2003 Inverness 1-5 Ross County W W W D W 2007 Celtic 5-0 Inverness W W W D 2008 Rangers 5-0 Inverness W D 2009 Falkirk 4-0 Inverness W 2010 Celtic 6-0 Inverness W W D W D 2012 Inverness 1-5 Motherwell W W D W W D W D D W D 2013 St. Johnstone 4-0 Inverness L D W W W W D W
  23. Still on course for our best (top-flight) defensive season ever. 38 against in the 38 games from 2005/06 is our current record with Tokely, Munro, Dods and Golabek the chief defensive custodians. The 5 consecutive clean-sheets after the split that season, certainly helped!
  24. But isn't that the whole point of your 'rankings'! For accuracy, surely you can't just pick and choose which games to count or you'll end up with skewed results?!
  25. The SFA have updated their disciplinary page and have confirmed that Draper will miss the Scottish Cup quarter-final v. Dundee United and the league game v. Hibernian. It's not a 2 match ban as such, rather one cup game and one league game - but they just so happen to be consecutive matches. Interestingly, these are the two games directly preceding the League Cup Final, so if the team perform well in his abscence, John Hughes will have a pleasant 'headache' for his final selection!
