  1. http://www.north-star-news.co.uk/Sport/Football/Inverness-Caley-Thistle/Ex-Inter-winger-interests-ICT-boss-Butcher-15042013.htm He's already agreed to sign!
  2. We haven't raided County in a while! Kovacevic and that big Greek left-back fella would suit me. Also, I don't know about his contract status, but what about Stevie May? Only 20ish and scoring for fun in Division One!
  3. Sorry but are you genuine.? Roberts is the most Pish player we've ever had. I thought Phillip Roberts was decent in the Oct-Dec period. After Semi final he's faded since that penalty miss. He definitely has potential, I mean why would a team such as Arsenal sign him if he didn't have any potential. Robert's position is a striker and he's played with us on wings, give the boy a chance in his natural position then make judgement. Robert's is currently injured at the moment aswell hence his absence. Dean McDonald played at Arsenal when he was about Roberts' age. He may have potential (and I believe he could be a good player if he wanted to be), but whether he is being out of position or not, he's hardly looked interested.

Do we really need a replacement for Shane Sutherland? He hardly gets a game as it is!
  5. Nothing mentioned at all in regards to Sutherland and Morrison. Take it they'll both be offski then. If they were going to be kept on, I'd presume that they'd have been mentioned by now in the coverage and probably would have been signed up already.
  6. Josh Meekings has quite a good long throw, but like Munro before him, seldom uses it. I presume this is done because Butcher doesn't want a centre-back out of position for the throw, which is fair enough if it's way down the field, but when it's in a good position, surely someone else could be made to cover at the back. I've always thought as well, that if I was an opposition manager, and cottoned onto this, I'd get my team to hoof ball long towards the corner flags and try and win possession from there and thus get it into the ICT box. We really are that poor at them.
  7. Was that Georgian boy playing? He was good on Tuesday and has been each time I've seen him.
  8. When is it likely the County tickets will go on sale?
  9. So as things stand: Signed up till the end of season 2013-14: Ryan Esson Richie Foran Ross Draper Conor Pepper (Butcher and Malpas are also in this category) Signed up till the end of season 2014-15: Josh Meekings Nick Ross Gary Warren Graeme Shinnie Billy McKay Daniel Devine David Raven Joining next season: Ben Greenhalgh _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The following players are out of contract at the end of this season: Andrew Shinnie Owain Tudur Jones Antonio Reguero Simon King Aaron Doran Shane Sutherland Gavin Morrison Chris Hogg Scott Mathieson Loan deals expire at the end of this season: Charlie Taylor Philip Roberts Jordan Gibbons Deals unknown: Martin Laing Liam Polworth Matthew Cooper
  10. I could live with bringing in Taylor full time. He's looked pretty good every time I've seen him play and can play on the wing as well apparently. Roberts is lazy.
  11. I wonder if the final Highland Derby will be on Alba then (or some other channel)?
  12. When do folk think tickets will be on sale for Celtic and County away?
  13. HT 0-0 Nowt much to shout about so far. Mathieson has made some decent stops and touched one onto the post, while Polworth booted a good chance over the bar early on. Nice to see Hogg back playing. Ross and Sutherland are also out there and the Georgian boy wearing 11 looks dangerous. Second half now about to start.
  14. http://local.stv.tv/glasgow/magazine/220646-margaret-thatchers-death-marked-with-party-in-george-square/ That's a bit weird, no matter what your political leaning is. Some of them don't even look old enough to have even been alive during her time in power. Very strange.
  15. Is that a hint?
  16. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22072465 Announcement unlikely.
  17. I wouldn't want Celtic away as the final game of the season.
  18. What about that fella who used to be at County - McGovern or something?
  19. Aye basically confirmed beyond all doubt that he'll definitely be away.
  20. You can always tell who aren't regular away game folk at Dingwall away, because about three-quarters of the away end leave right at the final whistle. This is not appropriate away game etiquette!
  21. What a fool. Apparently he had an offer from Ipswich as well and there was talk of him going to West Ham last season as well. But oh no, he'd rather play in the Scottish Division Two - what an idiot.
  22. I can't say I dreamt it, cause I always thought it would happen. Of course there has been times in the past when we've come very close to Europe - IIRC had we beaten Dunfermline in 2004 and gotten to the final, the way the system was set up at that time, we would have gotten into Europe. Queen of the South have been in Europe in the last few years as well, so it was always achievable. The next big moment will be when the 3-1 Celtic win is outdone - and I believe it will be. The way things are going that will most likely be against foreign opposition and a victory against a large English side would certainly do it. IMO though, the ICT journey isn't over yet, and I reckon we will out-do ourselves once more - and I believe that in my lifetime, Inverness will win the Premier League.
  23. There's nothing I hate more on here than posters criticising other people's criticising of the team's performance. Attitudes that "negative" opinions should never be expressed, or "if you didn't enjoy the game, it's your own fault", are bizarre, perplexing and of no use to anyone. I believe that forums are better places when people call a spade a spade. That's is, after all, their purpose. There have been times in the past, where a result such as last nights would have been deemed a good one. There have been times when that performance would have been deemed acceptable due the fact that we hadn't gotten beat - and a point further away from the drop. If anything, criticising performances such as last night's, shows just what an excellent season we have had. This season has been more like the seasons in the lower leagues, when we went into games - particularly home games - thinking that we are going to go out there and win. If that's our attitude going into games and come out feeling disappointed after seeing a poor display and only a point, then surely that shows just how far we have come.
