team for motherwell?
First of all I'm not a caller, I'm a poster on a forum. Secondly my 'point' was to help you find an answer to your question, to do so I highlighted what the OP said which answered your question directly :D Anyway I reakon we'll go with: Edit: Took it out as it's the same as Iamthecaptain, and my attempt at putting the names in the correct positions was dreadful. Oh right, I get it now. Let's just blame the OP, it was his post that got me confused in the first place. You really are just like Jimi Hendrix with that reply box aren't you.

team for motherwell?
And your point is caller? When others put these up, the aim of it is to show what you would do if you were taking the team for that game. From OP comments, it gets confusing compared to what these threads are normally about.

team for motherwell?
Is this for what team you would play, or what you think the team'll be?

Jefferies gone
I see Sky Sports have just confirmed that Calderwood has got the job.

Were Bradford not in the Premiership when he was in charge?

Is it just me or does the Reading boss look like the baldy bloke out of Little Britain?

Duff Gone
Too true. What's going on with Terry these days? This week Duff was "wonderful", last week he was comparing Rooney to Torres! But seriously, I don't Duff's much of a loss. He was alright from what I saw, but nothing overly special.

Togo team bus ambushed
Yep. But only when it doesn't agree with UK or US agenda. So 9/11 and the London Bombings weren't terrorist attacks then? But seriously, that's not really what I was on about, just alluding to the fact that "terrorism" is branded in a lot of ways these days.

Jefferies gone
He's a bit defensive minded is he not?

Who's it to be?
Yeah he should be because of his timing. Why did he leave it till then? He must of been thinking about that decision long before it but he decided to do it a couple of games into the season. Surely it would of been better making that decision before the season starts so a new manager can come in and make signings of his own. That would have been better for the club he supposedly loves. Im surprised the centenary club job hasn't got too much for him. It's now quite well known public knowledge that he tried to resign three times over the course of that year, with each previous time being refused.

Who's it to be?
Even with the official reasons, he stepped aside for health and family reasons. Yeah, he should really be shot for that...

January signings
I read in the Courier last week that Butcher keen to keep them both. He was also saying that ICT were having problems getting in touch with the right people in Latvia, when it comes to getting Bulvitis for longer.

Who's it to be?
The next manager has to be one who strives to play attacking football. ICT will go nowhere but backwards in the near future unless they play a style that gets goals and win games. At this point, Charlie Christie may be the best place. Even if someone like Ossie Ardiles was to put him name in again (unlikely I know, but not impossible) I would not be as inclined to say no straight away.

Best Goal of 2009
I know it's a bit late, but what do you think is the best goal of 2009. Here's mine - Stay tuned for the goal at 5:56. By the way, stay tuned for Mark Bosnich's comments at the end saying that he's looked "struggled a lot this term".

Togo team bus ambushed
Everything seems to be terrorism these days.

ICT in the 2000s
In your opinion, how has ICT changed over the last ten years? In the saying that, do you feel that things have changed for better or worse, and how have things changed in both the club itself, your feeling towards it, and the leadership from both the boardroom and in the dugout. ICT are in the same league that they were in this time 10 years ago, but I feel that things are worse now than they were then. Not necessarily because of relegation from the SPL, but the way the team plays these days is unrecognisable. Ten years ago the club was being managed by a genius. Perhaps a flawed genius, in some respects and attitudes in his own life, but a football genius nonetheless. There was also a spirit at that time, something that's hard to explain, but you could sense it when you saw the team play. A sense of joy and pride knowing that this was, and we were ICT. Changed days now, long gone are the days of fearing no-one on the football pitch, rather a sense of anxiety, knowing that this team might find beating teams of the calibre of Raith Rovers or Morton too hard a task. The football at self as well is not a patch on what it used to be. Long gone are the days of a free flowing attacking style that would put to the sword even the best of teams, instead now being replaced by the last couple of managers with a plodding, repetitive and uninspiring style of booting he ball up the park at every given opportunity. How do you feel the club as changed in the last ten years?

TCS Pitch
Anyone else noticed that the current TCS pitch is a bit smaller than it was before? When you look at it side on it certainly looks a few feet shorter than it used to. Also when you sit near one of the corners, you can see where the byline used to be. Has anyone else noticed this, and why has it been done?

I hardly think a Tory paper would give someone like George Galloway a weekly column.

Renegade's New Year Quiz
Oh well, I was going to do this tomorrow, but since a few folk have done it now, here are the answers - 1. Maurice Malpas was linked before with ICT to be part of a managerial duo. Who was other candidate that would join Malpas in this management team? Paul Hegarty 2. When Butcher was sacked by Sydney FC, which well known player and current EPL manager was strongly linked to replace him? Gianfranco Zola. In the end Butcher was replaced by Branko Culina. 3. Butcher once said, "Every manager in the league would love to have BLEEP, and I'm no exception." Who is BLEEP? Former Rangers defender, Australia and current Melbourne Victory captain Kevin Muscat. 4. Which ICT player since 1994 has the best goal record compared to the number of appearances he made? Iain Stewart - 56.94 goal ratio. I actually thought this was more difficult when I first put this up. I was thinking of a certain John MacDonald who played twice for ICT, scoring one goal (%1. Maurice Malpas was linked before with ICT to be part of a managerial duo. Who was other candidate that would join Malpas in this management team? 5. According Steve Paterson's book, he was signed for Yomiuri SC by German manager Rudi Gutendorf. What is interesting about Gutendorf's managerial record with international teams? He has the record for the number of international teams with 18. They are Bermuda, Chile, Bolivia, Venezuela, Trinidad & Tobago, Grenada, Antigua & Barbuda, Botswana, Australia, New Caledonia, Fiji, Nepal, Tonga, Tanzania, Sao Tome & Principe, Ghana, Nepal (again), Fiji (again), China, Iran U-23, China (again), Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Rwanda and Samoa.
