  1. Here's the new County shirt. Not quite sure what I think of that.
  2. I hope it's true! Esson and Tuffey along with Johnson all fighting for the number 1 shirt would be mint!

    4-2-3-1

I wonder what the next big formation will be. Formations seem to come in phases. In the 70s, 4-2-4 was the big one, the late 80s and early 90s saw the rise of 3-5-2 and 4-4-2. 4-4-2 seems to have died away a bit in the last few years to be replaced with the 4-2-3-1. What will the 2010s bring?
  4. The shirt must surely be unveiled today or tomorrow, as the first ICT friendly is this Thursday at the Clach Park.
  5. Just the sponsor.
  6. I recollect being able to buy friendly tickets for the St. Johnstone and Ross County games a couple of years ago in advance.
  7. Just had a look at the Facebook page, and it really is bizarre. The amount of folk that believe these wacky conspiracies about what a poor innocent, hard down by little lamb Moat was and how he was hunted down by the big awful police. Some probably do have their tin foil hats quite securely fastened to their heads! Seriously unbelievable stuff. What isn't surprising though is the standard of spelling on there, and the constant uses of exclamation marks as far as the eye can see reeks of unintelligent, uneducated Chav Britain. And one other thing to notice, look at the photos of the people making the pro-Moat comments. All of them, bar none, look like the sort of person you wouldn't want to meet on a dark night, probably with their 13 year old pregnant girlfriend just out of shot.
  8. And in other news, betting for WC 2014 have started, with Scotland at 1000-1 to win it. I'm surprised that's not just the odds of them qualifying!
  9. Sounds like he might be Snecky bound then. From what I've read, he quite a fast full back which is just what ICT were needing.
  10. Just had a read at some of the comments on the NOTW website. Some of them just beggars belief. Unsurprisingly, most were in text speak and had some utterly laughable spelling mistakes. Says it all about the intelligence of some of these lunatics. And on another point, did the police consider shooting the gun out of Moat's hand? It is possible as this video shows -
  11. Eh!? I have excellent taste I'll have you know! :)
  12. It could be of course, that there's a band across the middle a la the Flybe.com inclusion on the 2007/08 ICT shirt. That might look quite snazzy actually.
  13. Link Apparently, thousands of people have joined a pro-Moat Facebook group, which essentially praises him and what he did. There really are some odd, odd people in our society.
  14. Inconsistent is the word that first comes to mind. You'd see him one week and he'd be quite good, and then you'd see him the next week and he'd be dreadful. I don't think he was quite as bad as some made out, but at times you really did think there was a chance that he was going shoot at his own goal or any other crazy thing you can think of. He is quick and has a few tricks, and I always thought he could make it as a winger, but at left back he's often a accident waiting to happen, though an entertaining one, I have to say. A typical Lionel moment? - On the first home game of last season against Ayr United, Lionel got position of the ball in his part of the field. He then slalomed like an Olympic skier round the entire Ayr squad, until he got to the bi-line where he booted the ball into the stand! That was a typical Lionel moment.
  15. Sounds like he might have shot himself. Edit - Though he isn't dead by the sound of things. Interesting to hear the Policeman say in the press conference "he'd been shot" at one point and not "he'd suffered a gun shot wound". A slip of the tongue perhaps...?
  16. And when you thought it couldn't get any more intriguing - Gazza turns up! Whatever next?
  17. The OP's asked for an opinion about the player, and whether it's good or bad is irrelevant. He's asked for an honest opinion, and people should give him that, whatever it is. On Stratford, I thought he was rubbish. No speed, can't pass, can't tackle, doesn't shoot even when he's in a perfect position to do so, no good at all. IIRC his only good aspect is his cornerkick taking, but other than that he isn't a good player.
  18. Are you an ICT fan or one of those Caley "rebels" who love to have a go at the club at every opportunity? It certainly seems the latter.
  19. Link According to the link, Butcher says Duff will not be coming back. ;)
  20. If you're in Drumnadrochit, you're already there! :D
  21. So what position is Blumenshtein? I've read some reports that say he's a striker, though others say he's a midfielder. So which one is he, or is he both?
  22. They should get Dog the Bounty Hunter over. He'd find him in no time time with just a torch and some pepper spray!
  23. Here's another WC fact for you - no goalkeeper has ever scored in the WC finals. But this is probably the closest ever (1:17) -
  24. How come Uruguay have always had a pretty decent side, yet are only about the size of Wales? What are they doing right that others aren't?
  25. They can have him! He was utter utter garbage for ICT.
