I'll take that with a pinch of salt then... It's definitely true, I confirmed it with someone at the club today. That ICT Soccer Show twitter account has said he has signed as well which is pretty likely. I've always been a wee bit skeptical of fan accounts with these sorts of things after the "Inverness CT Fans' Facebook page announced once we'd signed Paul Keegan from Airdrie. The same account also claimed, when Rangers were rejected immediate entry into the SPL, ICT were going to go into administration!

Press and Journal are reporting that 6,000 tickets have been sold!

Joe, the assumption that the club are sitting around with their thumb up their butt doing nothing is a bit unfair. Well I don't think anyone was thinking that!

Going by the squad list on the official site and the European squad list, there's a few number changes next season. Tremarco is now unsurprisingly number 3, Lopez is 7, Roberts is 11 and Wedderburn is 15. I think I'm also right in saying that Calum Howarth has gone from 33 to 35 back 33. Don't know what's going on there!

I wonder if Stevie Paterson will get it. Unless he shot his boat in similar circumstances at Formartine.

Someone just tweeted there, a picture of the billboard Cork City have in their town centre (I presume they have them elsewhere in the town as well), advertising the club's upcoming games that month. Granted it's probably too late to do for this game now, but should we get through to the next round (and just for our regular games in general actually), is that something we should be looking at for have a bit more presence around Inverness? Certainly worth a try IMO.

Section C is now sold out while B is about half full now, leaving only the two red sections either end of the stand with seats readily available. The rest of the North Stand and the northern wing of the Main Stand only has a handful of seats left in each (some nearly down to single figures) and will almost certainly be sold out by Thursday.
-
I see a limited amount of tickets have now gone on sale in the South Stand. I presume that's to home fans?
-
With walk-up punters I think the North and Main Stands will be (essentially) full.
-
Only 333 seats left in the Main Stand by my count, the vast majority of which are in the southern wing. The covered section of the stand is totally sold out. Aside from the Section A, B (which is only about a quarter full) and L, most of the other sections of the North Stand are full aside from the odd seat here and there and the first two or three rows. Section C has only one seat in it's entirety! Think we're looking at a good 4,500 for this game and had it been against a team that had any type of travelling support over here, it would've been more.

Will Ross County be challenging Aberdeen and Dundee this season to take on Celtic?
-
Yes. About 1,000 I'd say.

He wasn't involved much today but he did look like he had ability against Forres Mechanics. There's no way he's fully fit, but he seems to be fairly skilful and links well with the midfield. With a few more weeks of training, I think he could well be a great addition to the team. I had a look at an Aldershot forum recently to see what they said about Jordan Roberts and they had a thread about him coming on trial with us. They all seemed to rate him highly and a few said he was a far better player than Roberts for them.

As mentioned in the other thread, La Roda in Spain have just announced that Dani Lopez has left the club and signed for ICT via their Twitter account. They're thanking him for his time with him and wishing him well in Europe. Their fans are also doing the same on Twitter. Looks like he's our latest new signing then.

Thought JJ Hooper was much improved today. Seemed to have a lot more drive going forward which was good. Lopez was hardly in the game.
-
Lopez - Probably, need another look though. Norburn - Maybe, need another look. Lamont - Don't know, haven't seen him play. Unknown number 20 - Nah. JJ Hooper - Headless chicken I'm afraid. He might have scored against Highland League teams, but he's got no touch whatsoever. Won't cut in the Premiership IMO, so no deal from me.
-
He wore 11 the first season back in the SPL then switched to 7 the season after.
-
Nah Laurence, you're ticket's correct. KO is 12:88am.... A total recall by the way? As Sneckboy says, default times are commonplace. Everyone knew it wouldn't be happening at that time. Did you really think people would look at the ticket and turn up at midnight......or eight minutes past midnight........or 1288am?! Get real, people aren't stupid.

This is a very good point. It's no secret that he wants to be a manager in his own right again, but why now? He could've left on a high after the cup final, but instead left after our second pre-season friendly against Brora Rangers. With no news that a club has come in for him, he's now left us (officially for the time being) without an assistant manager with a fortnight to go before one of most high profile games ever, to try and 'find another job'. Sorry but.....what?!

Brian Rice to be appointed in 5...4...3...

Looks like Roberts has been allocated number 7 this season.

In order for Latapy to speak to another club, said club wishing to talk to him would have to be granted access by ICT. When Hibs came in for Butcher and Malpas (and Marsella possibly as well), there was no big secret. We all knew what was happening and got on with it. What's happened this time is very weird. In the eyes of the fans, our assistant manager has literally disappeared into thin air. Surely more and more people are starting to find that very strange. If he's speaking to another club, just say. If he's resigned for some reason, just say. If he's taken a leave of absence for some reason, just say. You don't have to go into too much detail, especially if it's a personal matter, but just clarify the situation for the fans. What I do find very strange, as I alluded to in my previous post, was that Latapy's disappearance, has happened almost magically at the same time Brian Rice is here 'on holiday'. Now I know it's not beyond the realms of possibility that he was here by chance, but the fact that all of a sudden he actually has an active role in managing the team is very strange indeed. If he was up visiting Hughes as normal and took in a game from the stand, no-one would bat an eyelid. The fact though that he's in the dugout shouting instructions and taking the half-time training of players he's not even in charge of, is simply bizarre. I'm sure most of the players, especially those from down south, have people coming up to visit them and take in a game all the time. You don't see them in training gear running up and down the side of the pitch warming up during the game pretending to be substitutes! As I said, the silence is becoming increasingly deafening, but what someone said about Hughes wanting Latapy's contract paid up is even more interesting. If Latapy had agreed a deal with another club or had resigned it wouldn't be an issue. He'd have his last pay cheque and that would be it. My question here is, has he been sacked? We all know Latapy has quite a 'party animal' reputation, but the fact he's simply disappeared with no explanation suggests that there could well be some rift behind the scenes. Have the club sacked him and kept it quiet in order to avoid any bad press in the run up to these European games? It's verging into the land of conspiracy theories, but with no explanation whatsoever, what more can you do? As time goes on, it's looking more and more likely that there's more to this than meets the eye. The key factor here for me is Brian Rice. Latapy disappears with no explanation and just by chance, Brian Rice (who would always have been a major candidate to be his replacement) just appears from nowhere. Is that all just a coincidence? More and more, I don't think so.

Just seen it's £15 for an adult on Saturday.......for a pre-season friendly! Christ!

McFadden's finished, while Miller had a hopeless season at Killie. McDonald and Daly would probably be too expensive. I myself suggested singing Andrew Driver a few months back but seemingly, according to the Aberdeen fans, he's finished now.
