  1. Remember in 2012-13, Mckay was dropped early on in the season, with Foran taking his place up front. When Mckay eventually won his place back, he was on fire for the next year or so and showed the hunger and prowess we all know he has. Mckay looks frustrated and bereft of confidence. Let's see what Sekajja can do and see if that spurs Mckay on to win his place back. It worked last time around and no player should be immune from being dropped. It could do him the world of good.
  2. Presumably, Mark de Vries was a Dutch citizen and under Dutch law, would have to give up his Surinamese citizenship. This meant that from then on, he would only have been able to play for the Netherlands and not Suriname as well. Some places have him down as Surinamese, but he was never capped for them. Presumably, had he been allowed to, he would have done. EDIT - I also missed Sissoko out of my list. He played up here for Kilmarnock and is from Mali. I also missed Yoann Folly out. He's from Togo and Pa Saikou Kujabi. He's from Gambia. That's 79 nations then.
  3. There's a couple I didn't include - Ryan Baldachinno played for Gretna and expressed an interest in playing for Malta but never did and Mark de Vries was born in Suriname but left after six months of age and never played for their national team. I was always under the impression that he was down as Dutch. A few years back, we had a Colombian centre-back on trial called Enrique Pia. Did he ever turn out for us in a reserve game?
  4. Aye he counts! Interestingly enough, we've had a Chilean score against us (Pinilla) but the game was at Tynecastle. There's a couple like that. I'm sure Hibs or Aberdeen had a guy from Mali for a while, but he never played up here. We also played the Qatar U21 side once, but that was in Italy!
  5. So far then players who have played at the Caley Stadium have come from - Scotland, England, Wales, France, Spain, Portugal, Northern Ireland, Germany, Israel, Republic of Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, America, Canada, Martinique, Comoros, Poland, Cameroon, South Africa, Algeria, Morocco, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Finland, South Korea, Barbados, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Mexico, Greece, Turkey, Venezuela, Paraguay, Macedonia, Latvia, Montserrat, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Croatia, Ghana, Turkey, Hungary, Czech Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Guadeloupe, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mexico, Jamaica, Honduras, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Bulgaria, Guinea, Tunisia, Gabon, Georgia, Kenya, Uganda, Reunion, Estonia, Sierra Leone, Antigua and Barbuda, Lithuania, Curacao and Angola. Unless I've missed one, that's 76 different countries! I've not included people who expressed an interest to play for a certain country or were born somewhere and represented somewhere else or countries that no longer exist. Interestingly so far, there we've never had a Chilean, Russian or Belarusian. We've not had a Serbian yet either, but probably will when Celtic come next as Stefan Scepovic is from there.
  6. Think they've got a few more than that now. They were down to 6 or something in the summer though!
  7. Last person i think who wore that number was Kyle Allison Allison wore 19.
  8. I don't know if it's a mistake on their part but apparently we were after Timothy Dreesen before County signed him. Here's the tweet - https://twitter.com/433Fortuna/status/489447934128562176 Going by some reports, we've had a lucky escape!
  9. I see Andre Blackman has signed for Blackpool. This is a club that also has Nile Ranger on their books!
  10. I'm not sure if they were ever on trial, but we were strongly linked with Alan O'Brien and Wes Thomas a few years back. O'Brien is now at Hungerford Town, while Thomas is at Birmingham City.
  11. The cheapest season ticket at Hibs is £355! I wouldn't go if I was paid £355!
  12. Is it not a little worrying that our administration etc is rated lower than that of Peterhead and Elgin?
  13. If it's not the number 13 then gosh darn I'm gonna be so mad! I see the number 21 is absent so far. Probably that then.
  14. I see in one of the papers the other day, Yogi reckons Sekajja's the hardest working striker he's ever had. Good finisher, quite tall, fast, hard working? Like the sound of that! I did see some comments from Crystal Palace fans somewhere that said in their opinion, he wasn't quite good enough to make it at their level (Championship at that time). Doesn't mean he won't be good enough for us though.
  15. ^^^ Doesn't wash his hands.
  16. Station Park is the only ground I've ever been to that has different types of soaps and moisturisers and stuff in the toilets! No, really!
  17. I see Daniel Stratford is now the Assistant Coach of the West Virginia University team. Seems he also coached at a West Ham youth academy in America as well. Also, Dani Sanchez is now playing second tier football in Thailand for Ayutthaya. And Kyle Allison I see (one appearance and one clean sheet!), is now playing junior football for East Superleague side Kelty Hearts in Fife.
  18. Why has he only signed until January by the way? I'd have presumed signing anybody at this time would have meant a deal until the end of the season.
  19. If someone told you Marley Watkins was a Rastafarian reggae guitarist, you'd believe it wouldn't you?
  20. I see the ICT reserves are playing Motherwell at Fir Park tonight. Wonder if he'll be playing?
  21. Apparently he's leaving Watford after only eight games in charge! Also, I have some recollection of Billy Dods being linked. I can't remember if it was when Butcher went or when Brewster was sacked. No way on him though!
  22. I'd like to us to get Edinburgh if they beat Brora. An ICT away trip to Meadowbank would just be bizarre.
  23. Whatever happened in regards to Alan Gow?
  24. I'm not a happy clapper. When did I suggest we should've applauded them off? After that first half showing, I certainly wasn't going to be applauding them off. At the risk of sounding like Yogi, we've got a good, honest group of professionals and they themselves know that first half showing wasn't good enough. Do you honestly think they need a chorus of boos to tell them that? Booing them off the park can't do their confidence any good and I personally can't see what can be gained from it? Exactly, they're professionals not wee boys - I'm sure they'll get over it. Spectators always see more of the game and had every right to boo that, because simply it was a disgrace and the players deserved to know it. The booing can't have been that demoralising though considering the turn around in the second half!
