He came into the team because Hastings was injured - I didn't think it was mistake - we don't have too many options in the LB position. Fortunately he seized the opportunity to show exactly what he was capable of under the new management team - The rest is history - he's one of the most exciting players we've ever had at this club. I get the distinct impression he thrives on big occasions - he was our best player against Celtic.. Tonight he's got the perfect arena in which to showcase his skills.... He certainly won't let anyone down.

I agree... Strangely....he's been immense since Brewster left.

Are any of our strikers the finished article?
  4. Andy Barrowman would confirm that.....

You did say if we manage to stop Boyd scoring that would be half the battle.... We would need to do a lot more than just worry about Boyd to avoid defeat... The chances are he won't even be in the starting 11, but that won't necessarily make it any easier for us. There will be plenty of others there to worry about including Miller... Tactics for me would be to defend deeply - backs to the wall stuff in the hope of frustrating Rangers with an eye to hitting them on the break.... Yeah... Absolutely... Piece of cake. We just need to turn up on Wednesday night - this game is more or less already won.. I just hope the "Miller is never a striker" assertion doesn't come back to haunt you.. If we get a point out of this game it will be a feckin miracle... In fact I'd be quite happy with a 1-0 defeat.
  7. INVERNESS 5/10 Following the recent Arctic-like conditions in the Highlands the Caley pitch has taken a bit of a battering from the elements. Uneven and partly worn, it is not conducive to free-flowing football. What a piece of utter fecking chite.... Arctic like conditions in the Highlands? A whole lot more snow across the central belt than we ever saw here... Our playing surface is every bit as good as Hearts or Falkirk.
  8. Don't worry Mantis.... He's only gone back to our feeder club. There's probably some kind of arrangement in place that will allow us to recall him again, like there was the first time he left us....

  10. Happy Birthday Laura...

How many points to you see the Bairns picking up from these games, Ceske Bairn?
  12. Particularly liked that comment. Not quite how I remember people's opinion on his return I was just about to make the exact same comment....
  13. I think it's a great idea.... If ICT got to enter a team in Div 3, Xander and Rory might come back into the picture...
  14. Hi Robbo How about mentioning to your colleagues on Radio Scotland how irritating the action replays of commentaries set to a disco beat, with all manner of accompanying sound effects can be. These usually start on Stuart & Tam's show (which is excellent) and continue throughout the afternoon usually with games involving the old firm... Action replays are absolutely fine on TV but should not be broadcast on radio...That and all the blo0dy jingles very often have me reaching for the "off" button...
  15. Time he had a thread of his own... If he's already got one way down these pages I apologise...(found one to merge yours with John) This from today's Scotsman... I like it. MAN OF THE MATCH Dougie Imrie (Inverness) At times, must have thought he was back in the juniors ? where he was barely three years ago ? given some of the rough treatment meted out. Epitomised the new spirit at Inverness with his grit and determination but also showed no little skill and a roving tendency akin to James McFadden. All that was lacking was a goal.
  16. I wasn't in the huff.... Merely allowing better informed websites than this to benefit from my sagacity and wit.
  17. Like CaleyD said it depends on the unsavouryness of the incident...
  18. Drop the captain?
  19. I only saw the second half but I thought St Murn looked very solid... deserved their win..
  20. He does look very sharp.... But he's not fit like.... as they say in Aberdeen.

Home win of course.... When did Hibs last beat us at TCS?
  22. Are you seriously suggesting he might be aware that the pound and the Euro are not quite the same thing?
  23. Care to elaborate?
  24. Unfortunately they all claim that much...
