  1. Great result - Great 3 points Not the pettiest game I've seen this season, and could have gone either way right up until the final few minutes. Lots of chances squandered, but the tenacity and committment ensured that they managed to grind out a result. Thought Tokely would have been better at LB with Proctor at RB. Lionel looked very unsure for much of the game. Duncan or Imrie could have been in filled for Proctor in midfield. Still a long way to go in this league yet.
  2. You're probably not old enough to remember the late John Lennon saying on a US TV channel, that the Beatles were bigger and more successful than God.... He got pretty much the same reaction - especially in the bible belt states!
  3. Won't Mihadjuks be more likely to be heading for the bright lights, and superior architecture of the city of Dundee?
  4. I'm worried that PC Plod might yet call this one off, for that reason...
  5. Ahhh.... John Mayall - a legend! Try this one with Peter Green on guitar.
  6. Yeap.... Doing my best to co-ordinate the snow clearing effort from here.
  7. They've actually managed to get a message out on the widely read, and infomative club site, so no doubt they will be inundated with volunteers by now. Still nothing about Nauris on that site yet, though....
  8. Why aren't you down there helping them?
  9. Hearts
  10. Love the Chicks. Feisty gals. But much prefer the song I posted They are actually on record as saying they are ashamed of the fact that former US President George Bush comes from their state of Texas. That was more than enough to endear them to me. :( Still prefer the Cowboy song though....
  11. I love your positive attitude, Jaggie.... But have another look out your window!
  12. This is better.... with very tasteful pics/video! Dixie Chicks
  13. Nice song, but pics of the chicks themselves would have been better!
  14. Can't believe Jeffries is going back there again.... Can only end in tears.
  15. Snowing quite heavily in Sneck just now... more is forecast. Could be problems for tomorrow.
  16. Did anyone see anything of our former leader facing up to his war crimes before the Chilcot Inquiry? What an absolute farce! Tony Bliar managed to turn what had promised to be a Spanish Inquisition into a platform for promoting himself, by suggesting that thanks to him, the world is now a safer place! He must have had a say in as to who was appointed to the Chilcot team, judging by the questions he was asked. The security costs to stage this farce have already run into millions, paid for by us tax payers of course. It also costs around 6 million a year just to keep Blair and his family secure, as they go about their day to day lives. No regrets or sympathy were expressed by him to all, or to any of those who lost their lives in Iraq.... He even went as far as to outline his thoughts on how Iran would be handled - if - God forbid - he was still in charge.
  17. Might be wise to give this one a miss! Shapla
  18. It's not a foregone conclusion that he'll be playing against PT. Quote : It is welcome news for manager Terry Butcher, who now hopes Bulvitis can take his place in the starting line-up against Partick Thistle tomorrow. "We are optimistic that he is coming back," he said. "I've been in contact with him and as I understand it he will be returning to Caley Thistle. "He's always wanted to come back here and he's told his club that, so hopefully he will be back with us before the weekend. However, even if he isn't, because of the way the contract situation is there's no immediate concern ahead of the deadline. We've still to sort out a few details with Ventspils, but the player is set to come back to Inverness, so that's a real positive for us. "I would like him to be involved against Partick, but if it's not possible then we do have options within the current squad who could play in central defence. "The thing is Nauris has done a lot of travelling. "He flew back to Latvia last weekend and then headed off to Turkey to join the Russian team for what is their pre-season, so he's trained pretty hard. "I would think he'll be pretty tired, but he is young and athletic, so I would be hoping that he is fine for Saturday."
  19. The Redcliffe's fab, but Derek's a Celtic supporter.
  20. Riva Ristorante Cafe 1 Steak Academy Girvans Waterside Hotel Glen Mhor Hotel
  21. I just got a similar message - probably from the same birdie! Some paperwork to be sorted out before he'll be eligible to play on Saturday.
  22. Defensive drivel? Were you thinking about the cup tie at home to Motherwell with that comment?
  23. He did apparently meet up with a Russian 2nd division side in Turkey, but he's told them he wants to remain in Inverness... It's probably the architecture in the city centre he loves.
  24. Hmmmm... More on this here :017:
  25. If he's flying back to Inverness today, as Presley is suggesting, the loan deal must be back on again - hopefully, from now until the end of the season. Here's hoping he'll be fit, and available for selection to face PT on Saturday. Could give us a real boost....
