I agree with that.... TB actually went up in my esteem for doing that. I still remember with affection Eric Cantona's flying karate kick directed at a fan, for shouting something a tad unflattering at him.

Totally agree, Steve.... The most talented and most promising "local" stock I've seen around here for a long, long time is young Nick Ross. Not even on the bench yesterday.... Doesn't look likely to figure in Butcher's grand scheme of things.

We drew two, and lost two of our last four games of last season - thanks to Butcher's fall-out with Esson, and his insistence that Tokely could be a better centre half than full back. These decisions cost us our place in the SPL.... Butcher is now finding out what many before him have found out... Once you are in Div 1 it is anything but easy to get out of it.

I wouldn't say winning the SFL title and promotion was, or even is, an unrealistic expectation.

Could be a draw of course, which would probably mean pelters for both TB and MM. I agree we should have a full time, rather than a part time manager.

Presumably MM gets to pick the side this week, as he'll have done more in training with them... Could be quite a feather in his cap if he can achieve a comfortable win. In fact, any kind of a win!

He was good for the final 20 minutes or so but aside from that I thought he offered precious little. I know you are now his number 1 fan but I haven't seen anything from the lad to warrant him securing a starting place week in week out. Without a doubt the best young prospect I've seen for years - he turned that PT full back inside out all through the second half, with apparent ease, and put in several decent crosses. (shame no one could take advantage) If his talent can be utilised, and properly nurtured, He'll be a household name within a couple of years - mark my words! He is surely worth a starting place just as much as Cox, Stratford, Eagle or Hayes.

It's all very well for an honest, law-abiding, clean-living, white, heterosexual male like you, to come out with a statement like that.

I'm surprised at some of these starting line-ups. Can only suggest that all those who have left Nick Ross out, couldn't have been at the Partick (home) game.

This "other fan" totally agrees with you. Roy is a model professional who, with his experience, dedication and comittment is definitely worth another run in the team.

Both TB's and MM's contracts run out at the end of the season. In the event of ICT not winning promotion, do you think either of them will be asked to stay on?
